IPad Air and 2m apple cable no longer supported
II've been using the Official Apple 2m cable for months without issue. I've just gone to plug it in and now an error comes up with, "This accessory may not be supported" and now won't charge my iPad Air. Why has this suddenly happened? Any fix?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

I had an iPAD 4. Since I updated to IOS 7 it began to freeze up. I now have the iPad Air and the same thing happens. I'd like some advice because apple's technical service has no idea.
Technical service in Spain is useless. They told me to re-install everything again as when it's brand new, application by application to see which one is failing. I have 150 applications.

I'm thinking of moving to Samsung.If this problem continued across an iPad with Retina to an iPad Air it is almost definite it is one of your apps causing the problem. Run it for a day with no apps loaded on it, if it doesn't freeze then one of your apps that has not been updated is causing the issue. And the Technical Service in Spain gave you correct information.
It was no different when Mr. Jobs was still in charge (I was around for iOS 3.0) and it is no different on a Surface or a Note. -
Just got an ipad air and why creating my apple ID with credit card, a CODE was requested in the itunes gift card/ itunes gift in order to preceed with the form but I don't have the code. Please how can I find the code so as to enable me complete the form successfully. Thanks alot
The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway. -
i cannot mirror from ipad or ipad air to a samsung smart tv via appletv.Any ideas please?
I have tried with an Ipad Air and Ipad using Op System 8.0.2 to mirror their contents to the screen of my Samsung Flat Screen Flat TV via the latest make of Appletv.I have spent over 2 hours going through all settings etc with Apple Customer Service Live Chat.They cannot find or replicate the problem and says it is all working fine.My TV screen displays, when i go into mirroring, "ready for connection - on your device launch Allshare Cast".Nothing happens although i have agreed with Apple Support that all settings are on and are correct.Can anyone help please, as Apple Support cannot?

Is there a virus protection for the apple iPads including the iPad Air and the iPhone 5, and if there is, how do we download it into our apple products? With everything that is going on it seems like I'm having more problems with freezing and crashing, getting kicked off my sites more often then ever! Is there a way to stop this?
There is no known malware capable of infecting an iOS device, unless it has been jailbroken. Due to the security that prevents malware, real anti-virus software on iOS is not possible, so none exists.
As to the problem, I'm unclear on exactly what you're seeing. What exactly does it mean to get "kicked off your sites?" -
When will Apple ever make it convenient for the customer, I just bought an iPad Air and I'm very upset that I can only use iMessage, iPads are the biggest mistake to buy if you like texting family and friends. I'll never buy another one if I can't text using SMS or MMS. Is there any hope for a patch or new operating system to fix this issue, or an app to use with iPad Air

Thanks for any help on this subject!Eureka! I kept searching and found the solution. So, if anyone wants to know here is the solution: press fn and the up arrow on F Keys (top) row (it's the one all way to the right. The iPad keyboard will then pop up on the iPad and from there you can access the emoji keyboard.

I have a ipad air and i don´t have the icon of the airplay. I don´t have an apple tv but i want use an app to play the screen of the ipan on pc. I already try but definitely i only have the airdrop icon.
The AirPlay feature is only available whe you have an Apple Tv. You can mirror the display form your iPad if the iPad and Apple Tv are both connected to the same WPA (or the same Wi-Fi). Air Drop is a way of sharing files, such as pictures, PDFs, and text documents. Hope this helps.

I went to the apple store in my local mall and I purchased 2 iPads and 2 cases with protection plans and I went home and opened up my new iPad Air and the box was empty except for a piece of wood
Once I realized It was empty I called the store and they just closed I then called my local police precinct and told them just to get there input because I just spent a lot of money. After that I called apple and they said they will open an investigation they said they will get back to me ASAP I am just curious what apple does in these situations

I recently used a friends iPad 2 and was able to connect to the tv with the Apple Composite AV cable I originally bought for the iPhone. My tv has the 2 audio and video adapters in the front. The Apple Composite AV cable goes into a wall plug, has the 30 pin connection and the audio and video connectors
I received the iPad air and bought the lightning to 30 pin adapter last week. I hooked it up last night and was able to receive the audio but not the video. Any suggstions as to how to get it to mirror.
