IPad Air and iPhone4S
JJust bought an iPad Air. However when I read or delete an email on my IPhone, it still shows up on the iPad. Also, the iPad only shows my inbox, none of the other folders in my email. Any idea how to get them to sync? Thanks.
Saying its a Hotmail account does not tell us if it is a POP account or an IMAP account. The two types of email accounts are quite different.
POP accounts download the email to the device. Deleting the email from the device does not delete the email from other devices or from the server.
IMAP accounts store the email on the Server and the emails are viewed on your iPad or iPhone. Deleting the email from the iPad will coincidently delete it from the server and it, therefore, will not be visible on the iPhone any more.

My wife bought an iPad Air and synced contact from our PC (Outlook), now all our contacts in Outlook have gone and we have to go to iCloud to get them, and even then they are a bit jumbled. How do I get my data back onto my PC?
If you can see the iCloud contacts in Outlook, you can copy them back to your PC by selecting all the contacts (click one, then press Control-A), then drag and drop the selected contacts to Contacts under My Contacts on the left sidebar of Outlook.
If you want to copy your calendar back to Outlook, select your iCloud calendar on the left sidebar of Outlook, switch to the list view (select View from the ribbon, then click Change View>List), select your events (click on a single event, then press Control-A), then control drag and drop them to Calendar under My Calendars on the left sidebar.
Then you can sign out of iCloud on the iCloud control panel and your local copies will still be there. If you want to add your iCloud email account back to iCloud, you can do this with these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864. -

Tap to Download icon flashes but does nothing.I just hooked this thing up to my computer and was able to load new apps and update via the app store that way, installing them onto the iPad via sync. Very annoying though as I cannot make in app purchases etc still.

I just got a new iPad air and also own an iPhone 5. I'm receiving most of my text messages on the iPhone, but some are now also showing up on my iPad. I don't want them on my iPad, any suggestions on how to get them to stop showing up n my iPad?
Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.

This has nothing to do with iPhoto. When I have this type of problem I call tech support for my email service. They probably are the only source of the correct settings

You can copy them via your computer's iTunes - you can't connect an iPad to iPod for direct transfer, though if you iOS 5 set up on both devices and iCloud enabled you might be able to re-download some of your iTunes purchased music on the other device.

To avoid having to pay again for apps you have already purchased, use the same Apple ID (likely the current one) on both devices. You can adjust this in:
Settings > iTunes & App Store.
So that you can communicate with each other, use separate Apple IDs for iCloud, Messages, and FaceTime. Adjust those in:
Settings > iCloud
Settings > Messages
Settings > FaceTime -

The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway. -

You may be able to install an AirPrint sharing application on your PC to enable printing.
Google for "AirPrint for Windows" and you should get several hits.
Alternatively you may be able to use Lexmarks Printing App if it supports your printer model.

The frequency bands of the Ipdas are identical to those of the IPhone 5S - why is the function at O2 still not teleased?
Sice already the TouchID when the IPad was saved and do not exist, the lack of LTE keep coverage now but certainly me from a purchase.
Do you hav Information about LTE with O2 on Ipad Air and IPad mini Retina? O2 certainly has none.This will probably come in handy for you.

Your questions are sort of all over the place and it makes it difficult to offer help when you splatter a whole bunch of stuff against the wall at once.
Mail accounts will sync to the iPad from iTunes if they are selected to sync. You can add the email account to the iPad in Settings>Mail, contacts, calendar>Add account. If you restore the iPad from a backup of another iPad, that should restore the email accounts to the new iPad.
Your backups will always be separate because iTunes reads the serial number on the iPad so if you had 10 iPads and gave them all the same name, iTunes would still see each one as it's own device.
You also threw the iPhone into the mix now. Why don't you start over and explain what you did to set up the new iPad Air. Or just start over and clarify all of the information a bit. -

hallo, after upload iPad air and iPhone 5 to iOS 8 (and few days ago Mac to Yosemite, version 10.10), I don't find in my iPad air and in my iPhone 5 photos I can see in iPhoto (version 9.6) on my Mac's Cloud. I tried to add manually from library to iCloud's streaming photo with no result. in iPhoto's events I've 940 photos, in iPhone and iPad about 450. I have in mobile devices only photos taken with iPhone. thank

You really need to rethink you're computing habits. Using a computer without a back up is like driving without a safety belt. Updating the OS and applications without one is like driving blindfolded and drunk without a safety belt...
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store -
