Ipad Air apps problem
I have a problem with my Ipad air, when I installed any app from app store its hide after the install complete, i tried to restart the Ipad but nothing happend, even i click on the app in the app store its not open .

In I tunes, when I try to move an IPAD AIR app from one screen to another, when I go to drag the APP the screens become moving targets and I cannot movve the app. Anybody know why? Is ther a setting somewhere? already tried making screens appear bigger and smaller,no help. Was able to do it on older versions of system and ipads.
Re-arrange apps on iTunes
You need to double-click a page in order to re-arrange the apps on it. -
Q. I have an IPAD air having problems with my email deleting after a short while without command.
I've had issues like this before.
I ended up having to call my provide to reset the connection, which worked for a while, then quit. i then took it into my provider for a new sim card and had the connection re-established again. I haven't had issues since.
hopefully for you resetting the connection with your provider will do the trick and a new SIM card wont be nessesary. -
Are lots of people meet the new iPad air restart problem? I have met it several times since I bought it a week. Any solution can avoid it or should I go to store to change a new one As this is a really annoying problem.
While I am using a application like safari, the iPad just restarted. Probably it wasn't a really restart because it just took a seconds and the a white screen with an in the middle came up just like usually turn on the iPad and back to lock screen and any application I was using were closed after that.

Bought an iPad air today and am trying to download skyp but having no success. Went to the apps store and still not able to download. Any suggestions? i am connected via WiFi and was able to download other apps with no problems. Therte is no skype icon on my iPad Air

Thanks for your input on this one. I took the iPad to the Apple store and a very helpful chap did a restore for me at the shop. He said it wasn't right to do what it did (switch into sleep mode) immediately after powering on without even being able to get to the slider "button".
After the restore it was exactly the same and he and his colleagues said they hadn't seen this before. He told me to take it back to where I bought it and get it changed. However because of reading up on certain other problems the Air had which was encountered by others on here (coloured screens etc) as the fault on mine was only the screen switching off into sleep mode I decided not to do anything about changing the iPad at that time. I also wanted to see if the same problem occurred on the one that we bought a family member just before Xmas and it did, it does exactly the same as mine on power up.
Whilst I know it's not right as OH's iPad 4 has never done it (that's why I felt something was wrong with mine), I was prepared to live with it just in case as in your experience, changing it would bring the same problem or other faults that some say they have with the Air.
If I want the slider screen to stay up what I tend to do is, several seconds after switching the iPad on, I press the Home Button a few times and the activation page then stays on screen. No big deal really and as (so far) everything else has been going ok (still not sure about battery but others think it's alright), I'd rather put up with this than encounter different problems.
I hope your new replacement will be ok, if not then I think it could be something to do with some batches have this problem some don't or that it is peculiar just to the Air iPad though the staff at the store don't think it is.....

IPad Air Apps will not update after ios8.0.2
I Now have 17 apps that will not update after I updated my iPad Air to 8.0.2. What gives? Some apps are stuck in mid update, so i can't use them. My wifi works. I have restored my iPad twice using iTunes. I have plenty of empty storage. I have reset my iPad. I'm out of ideas.
I have been having the same problem but was able to get around it by updating the apps in iTunes on my Mac then syncing my iPad to iTunes on my Mac. Certainly not an elegant solution but until Apple gets this fixed it is the only way I have found to get updated Apps.

IPad Air color problem - blues look purple
I just upgraded from an iPad 2 to the iPad Air, and right away noticed that anything that should be blue is clearly and distinctly purple. It's most noticeable in things such as the Facebook app and links in Safari. At first I thought I could live with it or adjust to it, but it's kind of driving me crazy. Compared side by side, the difference in colors is extremely obvious.
My questions are a) is anyone else having this problem, and b) is it worth taking it back and getting another one to see if the screen is any different, or are all the displays at this point going to have this same basic color temperature?So, is this a universal problem or not?! Mine has the same coloring problem. In Safari, e.g., on Macsurfer.com, all the blue underlined links are *purple*!!
Sure enough, when you tap on one--i.e., a visited link--it changes to a deeper purple, showing it's been visited. But it's incredibly disgracing to go to a site and see all the NEW links in PURPLE!!
Any fixes other than return? And , on a return, what's to say that the next one won't have the same problem--or worse, the other displays issues that have been mentioned.
Incidentally , should the background color of a *white* page in iBooks look *gray*?! Alas, it does! -
My wifes iPad air Facebook app keeps freezing everyday have to delete the app and download it again in order for it to work
Hiya. Does this happen with any other app? If it does you may want to restart your iPad. However, if it is just that app, it may just be a problem on the app. Check for updates on the appstore, or write a review of it on the AppStore saying it constantly crashes. You may find others have the same problem.

Hello, 2 new iPad Air have problems with FaceTime...
Sometimes they are unable to receive FaceTime Calls...they are doing nothing, when i try to reach them with my iphone or mac...no ring, nothing...the display just keeps black.
On both, there is iOS 7.0.4 working.

IPad Air Apps keep crashing after iOS 7.1 Update
Hi, I just upgraded to ios 7.1 on my ipad air. Everything was working fine before the update. But after, everytime I try to open any app, it attempts to start, but then immediately crashes. Even when I download an app from the app store, it still crashes. I have tried everything (restart, reset, hard reset, etc.) and I can't think of anything else to do but replace it which I don't want to do.

It sounds like all your apps are closing when you open them, even new apps are doing the same thing. I recommend starting by closing all the open apps on the phone:

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:

IPad Air apps won't populate in iTunes
I have a 32gb iPad Air. I'm trying to sync it to my MacBook Pro (late 2013, OS X Yosemite 10.10.2) - mainly because I want to rearrange my apps and app folders and it's easier to to in iTunes. The apps pane on the right side won't populate. The wheel just spins - going on ten minutes now. I have 156 apps (15 gb). Everything else syncs just fine. Any suggestions on how to get them to load up in iTunes? Thanks.
I would eject your iPad from iTunes. Click on the eject icon and wait until your iPad is gone from iTunes. Then quit iTunes and restart your computer. Also reset your iPad Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
Then start iTunes on the computer again and connect your iPad with the cable and try again. -

My son pressed something on my iPad air that deleted some games. Now when I download an app, it goes to my husbands iPad mini and I am unable to open it on my iPad air. All my previously downloaded apps work fine. We went to iTunes and out info in again. So frustrating.
Well, some playing managed to get things right, so far. I deleted an app (page 3) which is a place holder (no data attached to it) with the order I wanted and then reinstalled it. Then iTunes created a new backup with the right arrangement and after restarting the iPad all the apps are on the right pages.

if it is new, take it in and show them. You might want to borrow a different charger and a different cable just to see if that is the issue.
