IPad Air blue screen

Hello,
I have been a very loyal Apple customer for years now. I purchased my 32g, iPad Air back in January. I have been very happy with it. This past Sunday it began crashing to a blue screen. I have read previous threads from other users experiencing this problem and have followed their suggestions to the letter. I have reset the settings, factory reset it, and I have even used iTunes to reset the software. I am at a loss as to what steps I can now take to repair it. I am far from an Apple store or I would simply take it in. I would very much appriciate any assistance that can be offered in fixing this problem.

If the rest of your apps are working ok, then the problem lies in the Pinterest app. Couple of things to try.
1. Quit the app and start it again. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
2. If that didn't help quit the app, delete the app, reset your device and then download the app again. To reset your device press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
3. If the app still misbehaves contact the developer of the app. It is unlikely the problem lies with Apple or with your device so long as all other apps you have are working normally.

Could be either. I'd make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out. It shouldn't be blue screening.

Ipad Air- the screen turns blue and restarts

Lately my Ipad Air has started misbehaving. The screen all of a sudden turns blue completely and then it restarts.
The IOS is on the latest release.
It is not dependent on any one App & it happens anytime
Has anyone had a similar issue & a fix for this?

i am facing the issue as well, even post iOS 8 upgrade the frequency seems to have increased.
Will be be reporting to Apple Store for diagnosis. Hope they have some solution or else a negative publicity typhoon is coming.

IPad Air 1 / iPad Air 2 screen color differences

Hi
I have two iPad Air 1's, fairly new, and just got iPad Air 2. When kept side by side (see pictures below: iPad Air 1 on left, Air 2 in middle and another iPad Air 1 on right. See the color differences on screen? How do I know which one is accurate? Why do the screen colors vary for a giant like Apple which is in pursuit of perfection?
Note that the Air 2 has now been returned: After placing the screen protector, the "superiority" of Air 2 screen was diminished and I found lesser difference between Air 1 and 2 screen, not worth spending the extra $!!!

Please also visit http://displaymate.com/iPad6_ShootOut.htm that says Air 1 usually has 7,041K vs iPad Air 2 that has 7,355K color temperature of screen, so iPad Air 2 (in center below) should have been more "blue-er" than the Air 1's on either side which does not seem to be the case! I am posting this to ask experts how to determine which is most accurate screen color and how to make sure I get iPad from the "right" batch? Any help/opinions? Thanks so much!

The iPad Air 2 in middle is definitely more pale than iPad Air 1 on the right-most side of picture, whereas it should be the opposite. It may be possible that the Air 1 on the very right may be erroneously too blue!
I just wanted to find out how to determine which is the best "white point" or display color temperature and how can I possibly select a good piece? Also I don't understand why Air 1's on wither side have their displays that different color temperatures!

Backing up iPad causes blue screen

OK, so every time I try to back up my iPad, my pc will blue screen.
I've tried all the help stuff i can find here, like updating all my drivers, I've tried removing everything from the other usb ports, I've tried removing and installing both itunes and QuickTime, but I'm still getting it crashing every time
Is there anybody with any suggestions that might help?

Anyone else having issues with iPad Air touch screen x y positioning inaccuracy?

I have a 128GB WiFi Cellular iPad Air with IOS 7.0.3 installed. I have noticed, especially with the Photos app, that where you touch on the screen isnt exactly what is returned by the iPad. For example, if I want to view a photo in a display of a series of thumbnails I have to actually touch the photo to the left of the one I want to view. If I touch the one I want to view, the one to the right expands to full screen. I am hoping this is just a software issue. If not, then this one is going to be returned while I still have time in the initial 30 day window.

Well, I think I figured out the problem. I had a pdf file somehow loaded into the camera roll. All images before the pdf were opening appropriately, but the ones ater that file were always shifted to the right. I deleted the pdf file and now they all open correctly.

IPad Air home screen shaking

I purchase an iPad Air about 4 weeks a go it has worked fine until today. When powered on the homescreen starts to shake, all other screens are fine. Does any one have a fix for this or is it a fatal flaw?

IPad Air Touch Screen Not Working

I have a new iPad Air 128Gb model. I was using it and the screen stopped responding. I used the sleep/wake button and home button trick and it restarted, but still not responding. The areas you are trying to touch have a box placed around them, but will not let you touch them. For instance, when I try to put my passcode in I push the number 1 and the number has a box around it, but it does not let me activate the number 1 to unlock the iPad. I made an appointment at Genius Bar, but I am looking for other solutions or has anyone had something similar happen?

You have turned on VoiceOver. You turn it off by going to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn it off there.
To navigate in this mode, you select items by tapping once, then double-tap to activate the item, and need to scroll using THREE fingers.
Please do not go to the trouble of restoring.
And read the manual...

Brand new iPad 3 Blue Screen

I just bought a new iPad 3 and when I got home, turned it on, it blue screened. The screen is dark blue and I can't do anything. Should I bring it back or contact Apple? I bought it from tesco.

Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Ipad 1 blue screen

I plugged in my Ipad 1 this morning to update it to the newest software. It began to update but on the reboot it cam up with a blue screen. I hit the home and power button and it went away. It is not recognized when you plug it into the computer. I can get it to turn on by holding the home and power button and the same time, the apple logo appears for about 30 seconds then the screen goes black.
Any ideas?

To troubleshoot this issue where your iPad will not boot past the Apple logo, I'd like you to please follow the steps below.
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.

Best stylus for ipad air with screen protector?

Hi... I reaaly want to buy a stylus for my ipad air... I was thinking about Wacom Bamboo or Adonit Jot Pro... But, apparently, the first one doesn't work in ipad air and the second doesn't work with screen protector...
Is those true?

I use the Jot Pro with a tempered glass screen protector and it works flawlessly.

White dots and lines are flickering through my iPad Air's screen and sometimes I have to hard reboot to get the screen to work...ideas?

I just got this iPad Air (32 GB wi-fi only) brand new from an Apple store on Saturday, so it's definitely not an issue of wear and tear. Basically, it looks like my iPad has bad TV reception, there's snow everywhere and lines running up and down the screen occasionally. It's not immediately noticeable, but once you do notice it you realize that it's on the entire screen. I managed to make it go away once by rebooting it which I found odd. I noticed this last night. Today, it was working fine when I woke up but a few hours later the screen wouldn't turn on. I could use Siri still so I knew the iPad was on and funtional, but I couldn't see anything. I managed to finally get it to work by hard rebooting it (Hold down top button + home) and it came alive again, but still has the snow. I rebooted it again and it didn't go away this time. Has anyone ever heard of this and if so is there anything I can do short of taking it into a store to get it replaced? It's obviously still under warrenty and I took Apple Care on it, so I'm not frantic about this, but if there's a DIY fix out there that would be great.

IPad air is screen is frozen

One of our I pads is frozen on one screen. It is an iPad air. We got it for Christmas. Any ideas what to do to fix it?

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
