  • IPad Air Bluetooth Problem

Hi, I cannot connect my IPad Air to Bluetooth particularly want access to my Panasonic SC-HTE 80 Speaker Board. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

    I read the article.
The only thing I can think of to try is to reset one (or both) of the devices. To reset the iPad, hold the home and power keys down until the Apple logo appears.

  • Is ipad air Bluetooth back compatable.

My Sennheiser MM400-X headphones will not pair with my ipad air is this because Bluetooth 4.0 is not back compatable.

That may well be the issue.  A lot of users have complained that they can no longer sync with the cars' bluetooth.  Try contacting Sennheiser about this.

  • Ipad air bluetooth

How can I make the bluetooth device work on my ipad air 2 - which is brand new.

Since you posted in the iPhone forum I'm going to guess that you are asking how to make your iPad Air connect with your iPhone via Bluetooth. If that is what you are trying to do, note that the 2 devices are not designed to pair via Bluetooth except for Personal Hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. If you are trying to use Handoff/Continuity between the 2 devices note that they do not pair for that -- Bluetooth needs to be on for both but they aren't paired.

  • IPad 3 Bluetooth failure

    Hi,
my iPad 3 has Bluetooth problems. I can't connect it because it doesn't find any devices at all. When I switch on the Bluetooth it starts searching for devices, but that's it. Nothing else happens.
I already tried this to fix it:
    Turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on;
    restart the iPad;
    reset network settings.
I'm sure the problem is with the iPad and not the devices I want to connect, because I'm not experiencing any trouble with my iPhone 5.
    Hope you can help!
    Best regards,

Basicly anything. At this moment I'm trying to connect it with my JBL Charge Bluetooth speaker. My iPhone 5 connects within seconds, but my iPad cannot find anything with bluetooth compatibility.
I found something on a forum that it might be a hardware issue with the chip overheating: http://forums.imore.com/ask-question/284087-bluetooth-problems-ios-7-1-4s.html
However I don't fancy putting my iPad in the freezer for a couple of minutes bluetooth connectivity...
    Could it be this?

pairing the apple equipment is not a big deal just wanted to add songs from itunes wirelessly.
You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

That's an entirely different issue, unrelated to your iOS devices.

  • My neighbour's Mac Book Pro shows up as discoverable when Bluetooth is turned on in my iPad Air.  How can I block her device?  How can I prevent her pairing with my iPad Air. I need Bluetooth on to play music over my system.

If your device is discoverable, the other BT device would try (I am not sure if that would be successful). If it was, it would appear in your system preferences>Bluetooth.
Take a look at this re: security:

This is from another Apple article:
    Use Bluetooth
You can wirelessly transfer files between computers—even Mac to PC—using the Bluetooth File Exchange utility. You can even browse selected devices and retrieve files remotely. For extra security, you can stipulate that only trusted devices be allowed to connect to your Mac, and 128-bit over-the-air encryption is also available

P.S. Since I have not had the issue, I have not researched this before. Thank you for making me look into BT security

  • How can i activate Bluetooth on my Ipad Air with iOS 8.2 ?

    Hello!
My first problem is my bad English....  :-(
My second problem is with Bluetooth on my Ipad.
I can't activate the Bluetooth function on my Ipad Air with iOS 8.2.
    At Settings>Bluetooth there isn't a activate or YES/NO button.
It allways shows a wait symbol (little turning circle)
Do you have you any tipps for me?
    Best regards

You can try the standard troubleshooting steps in this order:
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.
Restore: Connect your device to iTunes on your computer, backup, and then select Restore to Factory.
See here For more details on restore: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252
If none of these work your device may have developed a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support: http://www.apple.com/contact/

  • I stream Internet radio from my iPad air to Bluetooth speaker.  Can anyone suggest the best EQ app to use to enhance the sound.  Thanks

I stream Internet raidiot from iPad air to Bluetooth speakers.  Can anyone suggest the best EQ app to use to enhance the sound.
    THanks

Yeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. Seems like I have no other options at this point, I'd still like to know what they did with the Download tab in itunes store, if they removed it or if I'm just overlooking it.

  • Can an iPad Air 2 battery be used to recharge it's wireless Bluetooth keyboard?

Can the battery of an iPad Air 2 be used to recharge it's bluetooth keyboard ?
I have a female-female USB adapter to connect the 2 male USB cords

Hello Eric3171, I'm sorry but the battery in a iPad only supports itself and can't give power to other items. If you have a blutooth keyboard then it must have some sort of charging system. If it has a UBS charger, then it can be plugged into any computer (doesn't have to be Apple). If you still have the box it came in, see if there is a manual/ guide on how to use it. Hope this helped you.
    Have a nice day

  • I have an iPhone 6 Plus and I can not connect to my iPad Air via bluetooth

I have been trying to activate Instant Hotspot, and for starters I wanted to connect my iPhone 6+ to my iPad Air via bluetooth. In both devices the "Forget the Device" setting is greyed out. I figured I needed to forget device as I had an older iPhone as recent as Wednesday and the two had different settings. Obviously, I need to pair the two devices but I cannot remove the old settings via "Forget this Device".
My secondary question;  is Instant Hotspot available for iPhone users on AT&T that have unlimited data plans?

I'm afraid I don't have an answer, but I am having the exact same problem. I couldn't pair the devices and thought I could fix it by forgetting and reconnecting...but the "forget device" button is grayed out.
I've tried restarting both devices and have toggled bluetooth etc. If I figure something out, I'll post and let you know.

  • I can't link my iPhone 4S to my iPad air. I can't connect to a personal hotspot or Bluetooth link them! Any ideas?

I can't link my iPhone 4S to my iPad air. I can't connect to a personal hotspot or Bluetooth link them! Any ideas?
In settings under mobile (cellular) I've turned on mobile data, 3G and data roaming.
Under mobile (cellular) data network APN details are filled in and I have tried reset settings all ready.
What I'd like to do is link the two devices so I can use my phone's 3G on my iPad.
I can't get either device to connect via Bluetooth with each other!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
