IPad air charger not working?

Bought on Friday, it's now Sunday evening,... Went to recharge the ipad Air with the original 12w plug and no sign of charging?
Tried the 10w ipad 2 plug with the new lighting cable and no sign of charging.
Tried the same cable in ancient iPod Classic plug, and it worked... Plug got very warm so disconnected, but it did suggest it was charging.
Did a hard system reboot, but no change.
Any thoughts before I take it back to the shop??? Looking elsewhere.... It looks like I not the only one with this fault. Is there a recall on the way ?? :-(

it started to work again .... But this is strange.

I have an iPhone 5, 5S and ipad air all on version 8.1. Safari is not working on any of them. It tries to load, the blank safari screen comes up, then it crashes and goes back to home screen. I have to use google chrome to access the internet. I tried restoring my one phone to factory, installed the backup, reset the safari data, reset network settings and still no help. Can anyone tell me how the **** to delete safari and re-install it? I don't know what else to do about this issue.

If you are editing/testing in the Flash editor, the html end of things is nothing to be concerned about at this stage, and will likely take care of itself when it comes time.
So you run the file in Flash and do not get any error messages? Then place a trace command inside the button's event handler function to see if the button is communicating with it....

Also, I'm just noticing you don't have an actual file named in the url, so in case the "not working" is that you can't get the desired page to show, that may be the cause. Normally I would suggest testing url links online rather than in Flash because it's iffy to try to get the web involved with the editor at times.

IPad 2 Charger Not Working

My iPad 2 charger isn't working. It will charge just fine on a wall, but when I plug it into my Mac it doesn't do anything. I really wanted to download iOS 5 so this is a problem.

It says it's not charging, but if you switch the screen off, apparently it will.
Can't you just fully charge in the wall and then plug into the Mac?

View Account under Cellular Data in iPad Air Settings not working

I purchased a new iPad Air with cellular last week and successfully established an account with Verizon on the iPad. Up until Saturday I was able to sign into View Account on the iPad in Settings and saw that my usage amount stayed current. I also was able to create a sign-on on the Verizon website and login with no problem up until Saturday. Beginning Saturday View Account on the iPad says my sign in credentials are incorrect. I know they are correct. Not only that the Verizon website says "the activity you are attempting is not available" when I try to sign there. Because Verizon is not offering unlimited usage I need to closely monitor because my teenagers have been using the iPad. I called Verizon and they blamed Apple and said contact them. This does not seem like an Apple issue to me. Anyone else experiencing this? If I go over my usage limit, it's expensive.

I been searching around the Internet and everyone is saying that after you initially activate with one carrier on the iPad Air you can remove the SIM and replace with another from a different carrier. According to one article, Apple engineers included a wide range of bands for the iPad Air. First make sure you're doing it correctly. Press and release both the home and power buttons at the same time. Don't hold the buttons, don't wait for the flash.
Next step is a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait until your iPad starts on it's own.

When following the instructions to restore my iPad after forgetting the passcode to get into it, iTunes tries to do a software update for the iPad for many, many minutes. Then gives me this message:
"iTunes could not connect to the iPad “Colleen's iPad” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPad before it can be used with iTunes."
Well, duh. I can't put in my passcode. I forgot it. I thought iTunes was supposed to restore it for me. I'm confused.
Next step please?????

You've put the iPad into recovery mode, as per the instructions half-way down this page : Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled ?

If the battery is very low, it can take 15 minutes or maybe even longer befor you will see any response at all on the screen. If you have let the iPad charge for what you think is a sufficient length of time and it still hasn't shown any signs of life, try a reset and see if that will force it to start up.
Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo apperas on the screen and then let go of the buttons. If that still doesn't work, try charging the device again overnight. If it's still dean in the morning, try restoring the device with iTunes.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support
If that doesn't work, make an appointment at an Apple Store and seek their guidance.

Short answer: Computer USB ports don't deliver as much power as the power adapter that comes with the iPad.
Details:
Full size iPads come with either a 10W or 12W power adapter. The mini comes with a 5W power adapter.

If you connect your (full size) iPad to a computer USB port, it may charge slowly, but since it's getting less than half the normal charging power, it may say "not charging". It may charge slowly or it may not depending on use (screen brightness, processor load, etc.). If you really want to charge it from the computer, put the iPad to sleep.

I'm using the charger that came with the new iPad Air in a wall outlet, but it charges incredibly slowly. We're talking like 10% charge in about an hour's time. Same issue here. At least 4 hours on the charger and only 50%. Pretty **** annoying really. I love the new Apple stuff, but every time I upgrade to a new phone, laptop or iPad I end up having to take it into the Genius bar and get it replaced. Is it too difficult to conduct more thorough testing or at least get something right.
Going to tough it out for another week before I make the long journey to the Apple store to wait in a line.
It seems the online support doesn't accept my serial number as it is 'yet to be a supported device'....well done Apple, outdoing yourselves as always
