IPad Air crashes intermittently reading mail

My iPad Air 128 crashes intermittently with several different accounts.
I will tap on a message, read it, then tap the next message, read it, then tap the next and it crashes out of mail.
It does not always crash on the 3rd message, as it could crash on any message.
and it could crash with my iCloud account, or aol, or comcast, or gmail, or a university imap, or exchange account. I see no pattern.
It seems to crash sooner if I read the messages faster, but going slower does not guarantee no crashes.
I Have already quit all other apps, reset the iPad, backed up and restored the iPad, added back accounts one at a time, etc., and all other gyrations of things to do.
IS is there a solution to this? My iPad 2 never had this problem.

I just cancelled my Iphone 6 order (it wasn't getting here anytime soon anyway) because it is using IOS 8. I wouldn't go near that operating system if you begged me. I used to love Apple products. I have lost money on upgrades to apps, or add ons to apps and have finally decided to go to a Windows system. I can always add ipadian to the windows system to use my apple apps. You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

For those still wondering how to install ios 6.1 on 5th gen iPod, you need to download it off of apples official website and then shift click restore from backup and choose the downloaded ios 6.1
apples one year warrant covers any hardware problems like these right?

IPad Air crashes with low memory error in Google Translate Web Site

My new iPad Air crashes with low memory error every time I try to use my Phrasebook in Google Translate Web site. This is rather disapointing considering that my old Nexus 10, that iPad Air is supposed to replace, works flawlessly in Google Translate Web site. Perhaps this has to do with the rather limited RAM (1GB) that iPad Air is equippoed with.

Week and a half old iPad Air crashes with light usage of youtube, netflix and safari pages with video links to youtube and vine. The consistency of problems with videos has led me to determine that it must be bugs with iPad Air. Anyone else having this problem?

I can well imagine that they are.
I would backup, restore to factory settings, restore from the backup and then try again. If that fails, restore again but do not use the backup - restore as new. If the iPad functions OK as new, then slowly rebuild the iPad adding your apps, music etc, methodically to see if you can pin down what might be causing the problem.
if all of that fails, it's time to schedule an appointment at an Apple a Store (must be done online) and have them take a look, or of it is lees than two weeks old, just return it for a refund and buy another one.

Hi I had a very stable ipad 2, upgraded to ipad air but have found a few issues. Although the colours are great it doesnt feel as stable. I get a few crashes here and there which is annoying as my ipad 2 on ios5 and ios6 ran like a dream. Is it ios7 being half baked or the ipad air?

Hi, frequent crashing might sometimes be caused by a full disk space (at least 80-90% free). Happened to my iPhone 4 once, it started lagging and crashing until I cleared it up a bit, worked like a charm since.

I have a iPad air 16gb in space grey I've had a few crash problems on certain applications such as safari and also when I press the home button it will at times crash , when I look back at the logs it reports back to Apple it stats low memory to why it's crashed. Has any one else had a similar problem with there iPad air??? I thought this issue was solved after the first gen iPad came out but it seem to have not been resolved. Can one help on my question .

If your device reports low memory, check Settings > General > Usage and see what is occupying lots of space and try to remedy the issue.

IPad Air crashes when beginning to enter password after doing iOS 7.1 update!

I just did a iOS 7,1 software update to my iPad Air yesterday and now it crashes every time I begin entering my password on the first start-up attempt. Then it is completely down with a black screen for approx 5 min before I can start it up again, at which time it will start after password is entered.
