IPad air ends in recovery mode after update to 7.0.6

After I get my next new iPad air I did a restore to my latest backup which works fine.
After That iTunes mentioned to update to 7.0.6 which I did....
And this ends in a recovery mode (I see just the cable and iTunes symbol on the screen ).... *** ! A brand new device 2hrs old !!!!
And now my question :
I starts a recovery to iOS 7.0.6. Whichs fails (with my white MacBook & latest iTunes version)
2-3 tries but in no success.
Then I tried to start the virtual machine VMware , installed the latest iTunes & uses the same ipsw file I used with the MacOS.
And this works ....
Nevertheless I got my new iPad back up running but really : what is this for a situation ??
And what I just a normal user with not experience  faces this issue after bought a new apple device ???
Did somebody have a same experience with the and may a solution for me - just in case I need to recover another of my apple units
Thanks in advance

    Hi Everyone,
my Ipad 2 is stuck in recovery mode after updating to the latest IOS 5. Tried to restore, it comes up with unknown error -1.
Ive tried all that I can including the tips given in the apple forums and internet. Please help.

    Hello soccerlime,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
The error code "9006" in iTunes when updating or restoring your device indicates that access to the iTunes update servers is being blocked.  Please take a look at the information below to help resolve this error.
    Check your security software
Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.
Resolve iOS update and restore errors
    Take care,
    Alex H.

  • IPad Air stuck in recovery screen after update. No reset possible

      Hello everyone,
I have searched the community for an answer but nothing fits really.
There are some threads regarding problems with the update to iOS 8.1 and screens stuck in recovery mode, but none of the suggested solutions work for me and I am really becoming desperate.
First of all, I backed up my iPad through iTunes (I have a PC).
Then I tried to update my iPad to IOS 8.1 through iTunes. During the update the message "an error has occured (3014)" appeared. I was prompted to set my iPad to recovery mode. So I clicked the butoon for this and after it was supposedly finished, the message "an error has occured (3014)" appeared.
So, i cannot update nor rest my iPad and the screen is stuck in "connected to iTunes" screen. I tried every possible reset (soft and hard) with no avail. I haven't used any thrird party software like tiny umbrella nor is my iPad jailbreaked or somesuch.
    Please help me
    Thanks in advance
    Luke

Connect your device to your computer, you will probably have to reset it there. You could then update it using your computer then try syncing everything back on to your device.

  • HT1414 My ipad has gone into recovery mode after an "error occured" whilst trying to update it. Will it come out of recovery on its own? There is a lot of data I want to save

My ipad has gone into recovery mode after an "error occured" whilst trying to update it. Will it come out of recovery on it's own? There is a lot of data I want to save before restoring it to factory settings

    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...
    Note:
    1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
    2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

Try a Reboot press & hold menu button & power button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you will not lose any data. But you may need to do this more than once. I never use PCs for software upgrades or downloads I always use wifi had no problems with iOS 8.1 B sydd

  • How do i get my photos back, if I didn't back up my iPhone 5 and now its in recovery mode after updating to iOS 8.0.2?

How do i get my photos back, if I didn't back up my iPhone 5 and now its in recovery mode after updating from iOS 8.0.1 to iOS 8.0.2?

In you case, the only way is to use data recovery app to get back your lost photos, so the chance is uncertain. It depends on how smart the app it's. The good news is that most of the apps allow you to try them out. You can test them out by yourself. The steps are:
Install data recovery app on your computer
connect your iPhone and allow the app scan iphone
    display scanning result
choose local folder to store recovered items
You can choose to recover your photos from local disk, iTunes backup or icloud.  More details can be found out here.

Once in Recovery mode, personal data is invariably lost.
It is recommended that personal data should be backed up often.
