IPad Air + HP Laserjet 6P

Configuration:
IPad Air
HP Laserjet 6P
DLink DP-301P+
The HP Laserjet 6P has a parallel port and is connected to the network via the DP-301P+ printserver.
Installed HP All-in-One Printer Remote app on IPad.
The AiO app can connect and print to a HP Officejet 6500 inkjet printer but does not see the HP Laserjet 6P.
Can I, and if so how, print to the HP Laserjet 6P?

The Laserjet 6P is not supported on any mobile operating system, neither by Apple AirPrint or the HP ePrint mobile app.
Only the models listed below are supported by the HP ePrint mobile app or Apple's Airprint feature:

I am able to print from my phone to the printer. But I can't from my iPad air. My iPad see the printer and it seems to connect via wifi but as soon as it picks the wifi up it automatically gos back to my home wifi connection. I'm lost any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you are connecting to the printer's wireless direct network to print from you phone and that when you try to connect to the wireless direct network with your iPad that the iPad drops the connection and reconnects to your wireless network.
My recommendation would be to connect the printer to your wireless network instead of using the printer's broadcasted network. Please follow the steps in Installing the Printer Software on a Wireless or Wired (Ethernet) Network. If you have already installed the printer for a USB connection the instructions to switch to a wireless connection are included under each of the supported operating systems. By doing this it will eliminate the need to switch your iPad off your home network and shouldn't affect printing from your phone at all.

Ipad air can't seem to FIND air printer

why doesn't AirPrint work on the apple devices I have iph and iPad w/ the Laserjet p1102w
AIRprint , using an apple router, ipadAIR and my iph. It has the forward button to FIND 'print' yet said it kind locate an airPRINTer. I have over 4.2 iOS on my IOS devices shouldn't be any reason they can't locate a printer. My i5 processor MacBK air has no problem connecting to this printer (HP LJ P 1102w). Apple TECH has no idea on my apple care they are zonked to any inclination and pass the buck to HP who wants to charge me 25.00 to talk to a tech. Why do that I'll buy CANON next time it worked on that fine. It wasn't even a LaserJET rather ink jet on the canon yet this laserJET is like a dumb terminal can't speak to the latest in apple ios products and the HP techs just want more money for something that should be plug n play. There is no logical reason why these new iOS Devices can't connect to an after 2010 AirPrint compatible HP printer. No tech has any clue on either side to even give a hint let alone any care to see a problem through. Einstein solved problems because he simply stayed w/ them longer and saw the solutions through. he noted. We don't have those caliber of people anymore & if so are very few and far btwn they want rewards before any problem solving as if they are all attys and want to work on & the whittle down and OFF a retainer. Of course, like the school budget make sure they use up whatever residual they can continue to squeeze out of the customer proving DIogenese was correct that 'it requires a lantern at noon-day to FIND an honest individual (even at noon day, today, it is very dark in that regard).

I suggest going to your printers website.
Most AirPrint compatible printers will have a link on their website to an Apple app that supports their printer. Their may be tips on connecting your mobile device to the printer as well.
The most common problem is a firmware update on the computer which almost always requires physical connection to a computer.   This info should also be on the website for the printer.
I looked up the printer you listed. HP LJ p1102w, it is a wifi printer, but I find no mention of it being AirPrint compatible.   It is also not on the Apple list of compatible printers.
Not all wifi printers are airprinters.   A printer must specifically say it is airprinter.

Cannot send email from my IPad Air

I suddenly cannot send email from my IPad Air. Keep getting message that my email recipient
was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying. Don't understand what this means as I have been able to send email before.

Paula, in most cases this message appears when you are sending email from a ISP server not in the pop settings and SMTP settings in your email program.
In example if I send out email from my iPad I must be on my own isp's server to send. I have roadrunner but if I send email out using say Verizon's email server I will get a reject notice.
You did not say what email program you are using but if it is hotmail or yahoo or your isp's email in two of these email accounts there are stand alone apps which work much better than the stock email program on the phone.
If you are using road runner or another ISP email you must get the proper Pop3 (incoming) server settings and SMTP (send) settings from your ISP
You can then just go into the Settings-Mail, Contacts and Calendar section and click on the email account and change to the proper settings from your ISP.
You could delete as you were told but why bother when only the sending and receiving settings need to be entered.
If the settings are correct, on an iPhone it tests the settings. If correct send an email. If incorrect you will need the proper settings from your ISP.
It is actually very easy to do.

ITunes/Music Home sharing does not work on my iPad Air

No matter what I do I cannot use Music.app on my iPad Air to play music from my iTunes Library with Home-Sharing switched on. The Library name correctly appears in the Music.app source list after the loading symbol takes an age to complete. When it appears to have connected to the Library on my Mac, contents of my Library are shown in the app but I cannot play anything. If I select an albumn and press Play the Music.app merely cycles rapidly through all the track titles of the Album and then stops. Nothing plays. I've tried dozens of times to get this to work, even rebuilding my iTunes Library. Nothing seems to cure the problem. I can connect and play via Plex which is just plain daft seeing Apple designed all the software/hardware but they, themselves, cannot correctly code for this basic functionality.
Also, not all Album cover artwork is displayed correctly.
It seems many of the things I bought the iPad for are non-functional and the tablet is virtually useless. I can't beleive Apple would produce software and hardware which is specifically made to work harmoniously but obviously doesn't.
Any help, here, please?

No list view in iPad Air calendar?

In Calendar on the iPad Air, there doesn't seem to be any way to view all your calendar events as a chronological list of events (I.e., "list view"). Can this be true? I've been trying to find it for hours.

I have tried the way you mentioned by using non-sap(MSSQL) bakend with ipad platform.It is working fine for me when i have tested the app in ATE.
Once try to cross check with my procedure once.
1.I have three objects Customer,orders,products.Orders object is collection to customer,Product Object is collection to orders.
2.I have defined 'show order tile' screen set for order object with one detail screen that contains order id and customer id.
3.Defined another screen set 'show order tile selected' for order object This details screen contains all the fields in the order object.Now i have defined as mentioned by you a field with edit type as 'list view'-->check whether all the settings are done correctly in this field->height(20),collection(In my example Products),List view columns(Product Name)->that means the list view will display all the product names of the selected order object.
4.Go to 'show customer details screen set' ,define a detail screen,add a field with edit type as 'list tile view'->set the collection to orders,list tile view settings->screensets->row ->show order tile screen set

5.Publish and test in ATE.For your understanding iam inserting the screen shot that i have done.
Please try to map the screen sets and objects in my example.....Hope this may be a bit helpful for you.

After upgrade to IOS 8.3 iPad Air no longer connects to iTunes

Today I upgraded my Macbook Air to Yosemite 10.3 and my iPad Air to IOS 8.3
After upgrading the iPad I was asked to connect it via cable to iTunes in order to allow for wireless sync.
When plugging the cable in, the iPad starts sending endless alert beeps and the top line of the screen is shaking. On iTunes the error message "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. This device is no longer connected." appears with every alert beep from the iPAD. No matter how often the OK button is pressed, the message appears rightaway again.
I made a full backup of the iPad Air before upgrading to IOS 8.3 but I am very reluctant to reset the iPad as the same error might come up when connecting the iPad after reset to iTunes and then I would not be able to restore it at all.
Does anyone had a similar experience and/or is there any known workaround?

Thanks for your further consideration, much apreciated. I tried a different cable, different port and did reboot and soft reset. I also did reset of settings on iPad, just in case.
As I can with no problems use the same USB cable and USB port with my iPhone to connect to iTunes, the issue must be somewhat with the iPad Air and iTunes on my Macbook Air. I also can connect the iPad with the same USB Cable to iTunes on a different Macbook with no issues.
I think, best is to do a full backup on a different machine and then setting back the iPad to initial state, followed by a restore.
This I can (hopefully successfully) do with iTunes on a different Macbook.

If you can see the iCloud contacts in Outlook, you can copy them back to your PC by selecting all the contacts (click one, then press Control-A), then drag and drop the selected contacts to Contacts under My Contacts on the left sidebar of Outlook.
If you want to copy your calendar back to Outlook, select your iCloud calendar on the left sidebar of Outlook, switch to the list view (select View from the ribbon, then click Change View>List), select your events (click on a single event, then press Control-A), then control drag and drop them to Calendar under My Calendars on the left sidebar.
Then you can sign out of iCloud on the iCloud control panel and your local copies will still be there. If you want to add your iCloud email account back to iCloud, you can do this with these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864.

Can not get my ipad air 2 to reset or reboot

I have an ipad air 2 that I believe is running IOS 8.1. I jailbroke it using Pangu. After not finding much need for a jailbroken devise I went to reset the ipad to factory settings. I backed up the devise to my macbook and followed the reset procedure going to settings, general, reset, and erase all content and settings. The ipad then restarted and it appeared to be doing it's thing. The ipad rebooted after a while and the apple logo appeared, then After about 2 hours the apple logo was still there and it seemed to be stuck.
I then plugged the ipad into my computer and opened itunes. itunes recognized the ipad and give me the option to set it up as a new devise or restore from back up. I choose to sset up as a new devise. The ipad then just displayed the apple logo for a few more hours, once again it seemed to be stuck. I preformed a hard reset on the ipad by holding the power and home buttons at the same time and reconected it to itunes. Now itunes does not even recognize the ipad when it is plugged into the computer. I reset the devise several times and it still will not get past the apple logo.
I then powered the ipad off and let it sit overnight while I searched online for a solution to this problem. the next day it appears that the battery had been completely drained because I was getting the low battery symbol when I was trying to turn the ipad back on. I then plugged it into my macbook and let the battery recharge for about an hour. I then tried to put the ipad in rocovery more and reset it from itunes, but now it looks like it is not going into recovery more. I have held down the home and power buttons while powering on in an attempt to put it into recovery mode and that does not seem to be working. I tried to do a recovery fix using redsn0w but that did not work either.
I would really like to be able to fix this thing on my own before sending it to apple. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on how to fix it I am all ears. At this point I just want to reset it to factory settings. I do not care if I am able to recover any of the data that was on it. If anyone can help me get this things working I would be willing to send you some $$$ via Paypal for your time. Thanks

Jailbreaking violates the Apple warranty and licensing agreement and voids ALL support from Apple. No one on here can help you as doing so is a violation of the Terms of Use of these Communities. If you send the iPad to Apple they will just send it back to you as they are not permitted to work on a machine that has been jailbroken.

Remember I could use the old ipad and the iphone to send mail. I checked all the specifics between the three units. It seems that TW is changing over from the RR.com to TWC.com. Since the new ipad air was just set up, it fell under the new TWC mail specifics.

My iPad air 2 takes a LONG time time to charge

So I recently got a IPad Air 2 and I have used the 10w charger which it came with but it takes a LONG time to charge. In around 1 hour is only goes up around 10% and the charger gets quite hot. Also sometimes it displayed the message,"Not charging," up in the corner where the battery symbol is. Now I got the 12w wall plug charger and it's abit faster and the charger gets hot but not as hot as the other one just warm. I haven't had the message,"Not charging," yet.
Has anyone had the same issue or can help because I don't think It is a battery issue as the iPad air 2 is brand new and I only got it 2 days ago.

Mine is a new IPAD Air and I have about 50 apps - the device has been trying to download/sync my apps overnight and it is nowhere near done......I have been trying to do it through Itunes leaving it with the IMAC (syncing computer) overnight but it is nowhere near done......
The IMAC uses a wireless connection for Itunes, etc.....
As of now the IPAD Air is showing that it is downloading but I wonde whether I should shut it down and restart?
The downloads have been going on for about 12 hours.....
