The iTunes/shuffle synchronization is (mostly) a one way street, and the shuffle can only belong to one computer at a time.

I have an outstanding notification on my calendar on iCloud. Despite the event taking place over six months ago, it is still showing as an outstanding event. I have tried to 'decline, maybe or accept' the event invitation and each time it tells me the calendar is not repsponding and send to Apple, which I do and yet I still cannot get rid of it. Any other event invitations that I accept etc will disappear, except this one. Help!

I added a new mini ipad and created a new email for it in icloud when i did that i could no longer get back in my apple ID and download anything and lost all my money on my account. it says my account never excisted which I had from 2007 and 1300 items

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

No need for the caps.
If iTunes prompts you to restore your phone, then that is your only choice. Just follow the instructions iTunes gives you.
If its not turning on, hold down the power and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Then you will be asked to restore your phone in iTunes.

No, by default, exporting does not cause the photo to appear in the Catalog, nor does it cause the folder to appear in the Folder Panel.
There is an option in the Export dialog box that automatically imports the exported photo into the catalog, maybe that's what you want, maybe not. I rarely see a need to have exports included in the catalog. Most people export only when needed for non-Lightroom purposes, and in that case, there's no reason to keep exports long-term, as you can always re-create the exported photo by exporting it again.

Installed Mavs on MacBook Pro (late 12) and then installed TestGen (popular test maker for lazy professors) and most programs stopped working or only parts did. And then all the premissions started. I gave up and created a new user, who also has issues

Okay, so, fast forward from July to now -
- I've visited my closest Apple store's genius bar twice now. (Over an hour and a half away.)
- My computer spent at least 8 hours behind their closed doors in the workshop
- Several complete erases of the harddrive have taken place
- Most of the Apple geniuses I dealt with were nice and very knowledgeable, but they were and still aren't 100% sure exactly what is wrong with my computer.
The good news is:
- They were able to at least get it running again, with a clean install from their servers of OS X Lion 10.7.5
- They believe that my problems stem from either 1 of 2 things:
- Faulty Hard Drive (even though it is brand new)
- The wrong build of software being installed.
Now, while the wrong build does seem like it could be the problem, it doesn't make sense in the aspect that all of the initial problems began when the first hard drive failed. The same problems continued when I changed out the failed hard drive with the brand spanking new one, and only slightly improved when I was able to successfully install the OS that came with the original disks for my computer. I'm not convinced this thing is back to normal, but hopefully I can make it last through getting a shiny new retina Macbook Pro in the coming future. Sorry, no way around this limitation on an iOS device. To use a new iCloud account, you need to create such on a computer first, then setup the account on your iOS device.

The songs on your Shuffle should still be in your iTunes library. That means you should just be able to connect your Nano to the same iTunes library and sync it just as you would with your Shuffle. There is no limit to the number of iPods, iPads, or iPhones you can sync to one computer, iTunes library, or account.
As for preparing the Shuffle for your husband, just restore it via iTunes and then let him sync it to his own iTunes library or if its the same iTunes library, let him configure it to sync only his content.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

it says "the document could not be printed". "There were no ages selected to print".
I selected "all". I always tried selecting pages "1-3".
The only choice that works is current page. Very strange.
