Ipad Air iOS8 safari problems

Quite often my iPad Air won't let me select or tap links in safari in iOS8.0.2, the screen is unresponsive.. If i move or scroll the web page it then allows me to click on links.

The EXACT same issue here, albeit an iPad 3, just over a year old, cannot click on anything in a web page till ive scrolled, it's just spazzed out on me and turned off with the apple logo, didn't turn back on, took me 10minutes to get the thing back on, everything is slower since ios8 and even worse since 8.0.2, apps don't respond, doesn't recognise multi gestures? Evidently this is a major problem and it would be prudent for Apple to check in on this one. I'm sure they could do without the press ravaging that one as well as a few morons who sat on their phones and want a replacement. (Unless they really do just fold under pressure, I wouldn't know - im still waiting for my £700 purchase to be delivered over a MONTH after it was promised).

MMine has not been working ever since ios8 update. Apple blamed a game I have on the iPad, however this problem occurs on all apps including apple own brand.

For every iPad Air with screen problems there's a million that work fine.. If you buy at the Apple Store take a good long look and hand it back if it's not right.

Hi Try a Reboot press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple, Logo. If it's still the same it maybe a Hardware fault. Take to Apple Store ring first for an Appointment. Cheers Brian

Safari auto text is severely slowing text entry (the suggested text at the bottom of the screen is cool, but seems to cause a drag)
Aside from turning this nifty feature off, iOS8 safari seems it needs to be tuned to work properly.

Aggiornamento iPad Air iOS8 multitasking non funziona

Ho eseguito l'aggiramento su iOS8 su iPad Air, a volte non si riesce a chiudere le app aperte con il gesto delle 5 dita, oppure scorrere da un ap all'altra con le 4.
Questo succede su app di sistema come Safari, Mail, Contatti e Calendari.
alla chiusura tramite tasto Home, e su scheda generali-gestimultitasking, disattivo e riattivo tasto, e per un po' ritornano a funzionare per poi ripresentarsi lo stesso problema. Grazie per l'attenzione.

io ho un iPad Air ma ho riscontrato lo stesso problema dopo l'aggiornamento a ios8.0.2
speriamo risolvano presto anche questo bug

IPad Air wifi connection problems

I Got a new iPad air as a gift from kids, Dec. 2013 to replace my iPad 1. this new iPad has never been able to stay connected to wifi...if I step away from using it for more than 20 min. I have to go into settings to reconnect. Everyday, all day long this has been an issue! For more than a year now ATT has been to my home and on the phone trying to resolve issues...new router/modems....run new wires....etc. I have documentation form office of the president for these issues For the past year. 3 days ago an ATT trouble support person concluded it was an Apple issue and told me to call them. I have been two days of troubleshooting over the phone with Apple Support and nothing could be fixed, they said never heard of the issue.....but I see hundreds of this issue online.....so they set up for me to have it replaced with a new one of the same....took it in last night 1/30/2015, since I have all documentation for the past year there would be no charge, but I lose my engraved iPad. Ok so get it home, set it up, restore and all those things.....working fine. Get up the next morning and guess what?? Safari cannot get a connection....mail cannot update....games won't updat....ALL of the exact same issues. This ipad has a 90 day warranty......what is my solution to this ongoing very nerve wracking problem? all my other wireless products stay connected all the time...printer, laptops, iPhone 5s....other brands of phones....so far no problem with iPhone 6, but that phone is not here full time to check daily. I don't think I can take to much more of this run around....what is the solution please?
Yes, everything has been tried.....reboot every product involved...reset....everything. What is Apples solution for this issue? Yes my iPad is updated. Thanks.

I'm having problems with my iPad AIR 2 with the slow loading web pages with scrolling up and down .

so I went to the Genius Bar today
the genius ran the usually diagnostic
she said I had a memory issue
she tried to blame it on some old backup restore
but I've never used one
i always start fresh on a new device manually (other than iCloud contacts and bookmarks)
well she wouldn't listen and insisted she restore the device yet again
((vie already done it 2x in the last week)
anyways things were fine for an hour
tthe problem is now back
i made another appointment for Monday
know for a fact this issue does not affect every iPad air 2
there are several in my family
i am beginning to think its an issue with low performing ram
ppossibly apple used two suppliers
i don't want to fail victim to conspiracy theories
but I am extremely ****** off and I will demand a new iPad on monday

IPad Air/iOS8.1 - Text to speech issue with multiple languages.

Hi,
I'm facing troubles while letting my iPad Air (iOS 8.1) to read a text (pdf book in English) loud as it reads one page correctly in English (text is in English)while some other pages it tries to read in Czech (text in English), which sounds strange (and it is hard to understand too). I have both languages installed. Same issue happened with a web site content as well.
Could anyone please help me with that?
I need let iPad read the book loud at once, as it is written - in English.

thanks for responding.
It is unlikely. I have just opened the pdf and swiped with two fingers from the top of the iPad' rim and the "read all page" function has immediately started to read the content automatically.
But as it ends reading this page and continues to read the next one, the problem occures (Czech voice starts to read english text on the second page, which is in English too). iPad stayed untouched during reading.
Nor if I try to select block of text. If I select just few words on both pages, the reading option appears, giving me option to choose language. Then it works correctly on both "sample" pages. But if I do the same and tap and select whole page as a block of text, then again the issue occures.

IPad Air case causing problems

My brand new Apple case keeps shutting down my brand new iPad Air as the case presses on the switch. The opening in the case where the lightning cable is plugged in is also badly aligned and I have to fiddle with the case to get the lightning cable to engage. Is anyone else experiencing problems like this?

I bought my iPad Air and decided I needed a case on it FAST. I looked at dozens of cases/covers online from a variety of sources. It's super expensive, but I kept coming back to the genuine Apple iPad Air case. Bought one and it works flawlessly. All of the attachment holes line up (speakers, mics, headphone and Lightning jacks, camera, etc) and the iPad fits securely. Cover closes perfectly and the fit, finish and materials quality is what I was expecting from Apple.
Hated spending that much on a case but after spending $499 + tax on an iPad, I only wanted the best case to protect it. Easier to use and enjoy this super thin, light and fast iPad when it's protected from dirt, grime, scratches and dents. Hopefully in a fall but hope that doesn't happen. It's a personal decision and you'll need to go with whatever makes you the happiest...

IPad Air ...problem!!

I recently bought an iPad Air and it's been giving me a lot of trouble, a lot of my old apps have all of a sudden disappeared and the ones I download now just vanish after the download. Even the default clock app seems to have disappeared . In the settings it's hoes the apps as downloaded but in a bracket it says 'null'. It's not even been 6 months since I bought this thing and now it's as good as useless. I've tried all possible methods which people have listed but nothing seems to retrieve the apps. I'd really like some tips here ! And there are a couple of problems like the sound which seems to only come back after I reset it !

Suggest you try the reset again.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

IPad Air browser Safari crashes

Brand new iPad Air 128 GB and Verizon , new purchased. Safari crashes often. It is past the two week period to swap up. 101GB available. IOS 7.1
I see I am not alone with this issue but I have not found a way to fix this issue.
When is this going to be fixed?

I found this on the internet:
Try going to Settings > Safari and tap Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
Try rebooting the iPad by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and then slide to power off.
If that doesn’t work then go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Back Up Now then go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings and set the iPad Air up again and restore your backup.

IPad air 2 wifi problems

hi all,
im having issues with my iPad Air 2 and I'm hoping someone can help!
when using the YouTube app the videos take a long time to load and while watching a video the quality keeps dropping so you can't even make out what's on the screen. I try pausing the video for a while to see if that helps but that does nothing. Eventually the quality improves and I can watch in HD again. I've usually lost 30 secs of video by then!
im finding this very frustrating and I'd love to know if this problem can be fixed??
i have the iPad 3 which has pretty old software, maybe ios6? Can't remember now. But anyway, I have no problems with that at all!
ive tried all the switch off and back on or renew lease etc and none of this works!
can anyone help me?

Thanks for the advice Brian. ive been messing around with YouTube a bit more and I've found that if I change the quality from "auto" to 720p the videos stream perfectly. Is that more likely to be an issue with my internet connection or the iPad?
