Hello everyone,
What's the word on in-store preorders for the iPad Air (and the iPad Mini w/Retina for that matter) at Best Buy? You guys just taking names in a book again for a $50 gift card? Let the rumors begin!

I take that back! I've just been informed that we plan to launch the iPad Air on November 1st at more than 1,400 Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores, as well as on Bestbuy.com. The iPad Mini w/ Retina display will also be available in-store and online later in November.

Verizon Changed Our Pre-Order Date

Verizon CHANGED the pre-order date from our original 09/19 confirmation at checkout. Our email confirmation shows 10/07 WHY? What was the point in staying up to 3:AM? We could have went to Apple's site but chose Verizon because of the date of arrival. This is what happens when you're a customer for years.

Sorry, that's not the point. It you're spending money on phone, AND renewing a contract for the umpteenth time, then we at least need answers. You don't pre-order an item , only to have the date changed without even a warning that this may occur. Whether it be a $20.00 or a $400 one.
We can also be quiet about it and accept whatever companies throw our way. No thanks.

Will Apple Stores have the iPhone6 prior the the pre-order date?

I'd really like to hold the iPhone6 and iPhone6 Plus before pre-ordering. Will the Apple Stores have them on hand to "try-out" prior to the Pre-order date?

You can get your hands on one September 19th at 8:00 AM at any Apple store, if you can get in the door.

Ipad mini pre-order Time?

I understand the Apple is stating the iPad Mini pre-orders on the 26th of october.
Does that mean, at midnight the Apple store will start taking orders ?
Really curious to know, as I'm overseas returning to SG on monday and I want to submit my pre-order asap.

No time is given when they will start taking pre-orders though.

Why the long wait between the pre-order date and the shipping date of the Motorola Razr??????????

I don't understand Why Verizon made the shipping date for the Motorola razr two full weeks after the pre-order date? Versus what it did with the iphone 4s where the dates were only 1 week a part. I order it on the 27th.

I know I really can't wait to get the phone. I was hoping it might come a little earlier than the 10th but probably not.

Pre-order delivery dates are depenant on supply chain and carrier schedules. If that is the date Apple has given you for delivery, then yes, you should, but it isn't an absolute guarantee.

Want to know if i could bring the ipad i pre-ordered from a retailer for engraving in any nearby apple center

is there anyone who knows if i can take my pre-ordered ipad to apple center for engraving - the retailer doesn't offer this free service... but it was too late when i saw it online.

As neat as an engraved pad would be, for the first couple of hours, unless you are nuts, you will park it in a full case, and never see the engraving. Until you take it out of the case to sell it to get the new one, and realize it is worth less because of the engraving. Maybe your subconscious made a better choice for you.....

Just wanted to bring this to someones attention, I found it funny. The expected date for the pre-order of 300: Rise of and empire says November 30 2049. Thats a long time to wait for a movie!

Then why post it here then on a public user to user forum where nobody is really going to be interested?

IPad Air Purchase and Data Transfer

I recently purchased and IPAD Air and need to transfer all information from my IPAD 2 to IPAD Air but don't know how to accomplish this task. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AT&T lets you move it yourself when you go to Cellular Data in Settings and log into your account with your previous AT&T user name and password. IPad 2 pre-order.

I called 3 of my local stores in MD. Columbia and others.
On march 12th, customer can pay 100 dollars deposit to pre-order iPad 2. -Best buy corporate website-
Three of those stores said like... no.
Some one at corporate office needs to call my three stores and find out. If you guys are taking pre-orders, and somehow these reps just did not tell me the right information. I would be angry.

The Best Buy I went to in Staten Island, NY took my pre-order (after going through three managers - luckily that just meant I was the first person on the list), but note that not all stores are taking it. They may be reserving this for high traffic areas, NY, LA, etc. Since there seemed to be ample supply at several small market stores but nowhere near enough in the big metro areas. Just my two cents though.

I recently I ordered an iPad Air 2. My order says that it is pending. My account is past due by a couple of days it is due on the 3rd of each month. Will that cause them to cancel my order or will my iPad still be delivered?

Hi Im using OS Windows 7 Professional 32bit driver for apple ipad air in order to transfer photoes from ipad to hp laptop

Unable to transfer photoes from ipad to windows 7 laptop.
Error message
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

That is one heck of a post for a newcomer here. Your instructions worked like a charm, with one exception:
When uninstalling the Broadcom Device, I had to check the box to delete the driver, and then had to scan for new hardware to get the device to show back up. Then I was able to load the edited driver software.
I am not complaining, but very grateful, as I was pulling my hair out on this one.

Is there a current release date for the Ipad Air 2?

I was looking to get the Newest Ipad Air, but then started to look around and it was about time for Apple to release a new Ipad. Does anyone have an idea on release dates and possibly a pre order date time frame?

No dates or even any suggestion that a new iPad will be released have been given and since we are not allowed to speculate about Apple's future plans here, the only thing that can be said is, that if something is going to be released it will likely be shown at the traditional September Keynote. With dates being specified then.

Pre-order arrival date

If I pre-order on the Verizon website is it possible to pick up my iphone in the store on the 14th???? If I do preorder on the 7th and choose to have it shipped any guess on the arrival date? Will it ship on the 14th or arrive on the 14th?

We are excited about the iPhone 4S too! Please note that orders placed online for the iPhone 4S cannot be picked up at any Verizon Wireless store and must be shipped to the addressed provided when processing the online order.
While the release day of the iPhone 4S is October 14 delivery dates vary based on the actual pre-order date. If you pre-ordered your iPhone 4S please visit this LINK for a status update of your order.
Please note that our online pre-order website now shows a shipping date of October 27, 2011, for online orders processed on October 12, 2011, and orders placed tomorrow may indicate a different shipping date.
