IPad Air problem logging in

I am from Malaysia and I have bought an IPAD Air.Since my husband didn't use it for a long time, our family has definitely forgot the
Passcode.
Thought that restoring the Ipad would work, however we were prompted to fill in the Apple ID and its password. The Apple ID shows up to be [email protected]. So we thought that the Apple ID would be ******
We forgot the password, so we went to https://iforgot.apple.com/ and try to reset the password. We were given two options: Email authentication and Answer security questions. We forgot the email password so we proceed to answering security questions. Then it prompted me to filled in the birthdate.
I filled in the correct birthdate but it shows up to be wrong. Then we tried my other family members' birthdates and all wrong, and we were not able to fill in the birthdate for the next eight hours.
On the next day, I tried filling in January 1 and succeeded. The security question turned out to be "Como te dicen"(which we don't even understand what it means). So I want to know if I have recklessly connected my husband's IPAD Air with a foreign Apple ID, or I have enter the wrong Apple ID the whole time, or the Apple ID is being hacked? Thanks!

It is more likely than not that you have simply just mistaken the email. Unless he made that email back when hotmail was first started a LONG time ago, its unlikely that it is just his name with no numbers or anything else with it. I think you just got a lucky guess on the birthdate.
Go to https://iforgot.apple.com/appleid and see if you can locate his Apple ID. If you still are stuck contact Apple for further assistance with locating the correct account. Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security

I have problem with my brand new iPad Air. After turning it on and setting everything up, suddenly it has shown that there is upgrade to iOS 7.04. I accepted terms and conditions, it has started to upgrading, but nothing is happening, no progress. Ideas what I can do? I can't click or do anything, even cant turn it off. I am using Adobe Reader app on my ipad air and when filling out forms, and making a selection from a combo box, my selection dissappears. Not visible, not printable, not savable, just blank. It works well on my Reader on my Windows desktop. Any ideas?

First thing to try is a reset: Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.
If that doesn't work, you might try getting hold of Yahoo since it's their app that's causing the problem. Try searching on Google for others who've solved it.

Facebook on iPad Air problems

I install Facebook 16.0.0.13.22 version on an iPad Air and I cannot see friends profile and post in their walls. When I enter to one profile I can go back, so I have to reset te app.
I have an iPhone 5 with the same version and it is working well and a friend have the same iPad Air and he does not any problem.
I already reset the factory setting and restore a copy and the problem continue.

I Too have had awful problems on my iPad Air after doing the IOS8 update, particularly in Safari with select&paste working incorrectly, the delete button only works after repeated attempts and the back button isnt working correctly. I tried doing a factory reset and things were better for a while, but the problems have now resurfaced. My iPad has gone from being a most useful machine to a piece of junk.

Ios8 on iPad air problems.

1. Twice my iPad has gone blue screen on me and restarted.
2. When I open safari, after that five finger closing app method does not work and I have to use the home screen button.
3. There is unbelievable lag and when I push up to display all apps, sometimes the screen goes blank showing only my wallpaper.
4. My cellular network doesn't work half the time too.
5. Screen rotate doesn't work sometimes.
is this because of the update since before that everything was perfectly fine. If so what do I do?

My new iPad Air doesn't have the button "Cover On/Off" so I can't use my cover. What is my problem and how can i fix it ?

It may be a problem with that iPad then. If the soft-reset hasn't fixed it then you could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings (which will reset any settings that you've changed on ir) and see if that gets it to appear when you reconnect the cover, and/or resetting back to factory detaults and see if it then appears (if you do that then make sure that you first copy all purchases to your computer's iTunes library via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases and take a backup so that you can then restore it back onto it)

TS3274 iPad Air problem!

Just unboxed my iPad Air went on with the set up when the screen goes blue than black then the apple logo comes on then the slide bar screan apears.This happens every 2-3 min.I finished the set up sync to itunes after 2-3 min again, the connection with iTunes is lost after a couple of seconds back to the slide screen.Should I return it?I allways was apple is the best but after this with a new product out of the box and consider the price I realy dont know.

Ok guys, I think i fixed the problem(well not me but at least someone did). I went from the iPad on Apple web support selected iPad entered the serial number than select Service Request & Troubleshooting typed in the text box my problem after a small window poped up to enter my email.After I pressed continue the test started, at the same time as part of the test I had to go check my email and select the one from apple, open and there was a quick test to select.Done that then returned to the web test.After few seconds there was a message with test completed and since then the problem is gone! Amaizing! Hope it lasts. Also it sounds hard to do but its not.For me the only problem was the time 3min 10 sec not enough but after 5 times I master my technique !

Try logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in and see if those apps then show as free.

Just updated my iPad Air to Ios 8.1.3 which was supposed fix my inability to log into iMessage. Same error message when use AppleID..CANT ACTIVATE. any suggestions

Has your iPad at anytime been replaced? This seems to be a common aspect of the problem.

Ipad Air Power up and down problems

Over the past month, my new iPAD AIR has been experiencing some power problems. Feeling confident I'd left my iPAD Air on, three times I've gone to log in and found a black screen. I tried to power it on with the power button, but it would not power up. I had to do a forced quit with both buttons depressed to get it to reboot. Last night I powered down before bed, and awakenend unable to power up with the power button. Once again I had to do a forced quit (both buttons depressed) to get it to boot up.
Also, SAFARI APP on iPAD AIR has been quiting quite frequently during a swipe to a new page launch. I've noticed this on my iMAC as well.
Any help is appreciated. I think a visit to the Genius Bar is needed, but I'm hoping it may be an easier fix.

Problem in transferring data from iPad 2 to iPad Air

I just got a new iPad Air. I naturally wanted to transfer as much of the data as possible from my old iPad 2 (then to wipe the old iPad and pass it on).
I read all the advice on line about changing.
I did full and successful back ups of the iPad 2 to iTunes and to the cloud (I've always done regular backups throughout).
Upon starting the new iPad Air, I selected it to download the saved iPad 2 backup to my new platform.
Unfortunately, I found that whilst some data has been copied across to the new platform, some hasn't.
I think that all my music has been moved ok.
However, whilst my apps also seem to have been moved....the progress that I have made within the apps is totally missing. It's as if all the games etc are starting from the very beginning. Is this how it must be?
Also, a few of the screenshots and photos have appeared on the new iPad but the vast majority are absent.
My Google mail account is showing in the new iPad but not my other 3 mail accounts though this isn't a big problem as I can easily add the missing accounts.
It's very frustrating as I had made huge progress with some games (over 3 to 4 years) and my pictures are important to me.
Did I do something fundamentally wrong?
Is it recoverable?
I spent a lot of money to upgrade my iPad, and I currently wonder whether it was a mistake. At the moment I feel like I will need to retain the old and the new iPads which wasn't really part of the plan.
Any advice would be appreciated.

First. You cannot transfer game progress from device to device. As far as I know, no games do that, unless it's a game like Words with Friends, etc.
Are your photos in the iCloud? You can download them that way. Another option is by using a third party software to upload to your computer, and then upload to your new iPad Air. I've used a program that does this because I've had a lot of different device and it's a one time payment but the software is always free to update. You can back up literally everything and is faster than an iTunes backup.
You didn't do anything wrong. If there are pictures you want, you can always imessage them to yourself. Lol, if it's not a ton. But like I said, a third part software is the easiest and fastest. If you google it you would find some software.
Or upload the photos to a site like photobucket and then you can download the whole album.
Just a few alternatives.
