Ipad and Firefox
Is there or is there NOT a Firefox browser for iPad, or a way to access bookmarks in FF on my iPad?? I keep seeing these add-ons that are supposed to enable this on the iPad but then I get to a message that it is only for the iPhone.
The Firefox Home app was built for iPhone and iPod touch.
According to the help article, "Firefox Home is not a universal app. It was designed to run natively on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Even though it is not a native iPad app, it will run on the iPad in native iPhone resolution or scaled to fill the iPad's screen." Where do you get the error: in the appstore or after you download it?

I have a MacBook Air with OS X and am having trouble accessing the ADT Pulse Home Security System cameras. The mobile (iPhone and iPad) apps allow access no problem, but I can't get a picture on the MacBook. Have tried Safari and Firefox browsers. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Internet connection suddenly slow for iMac but OK for iPad and iPod
A few days ago the WIFI internet connection on my iMac suddenly became so slow as to be unusable. However my iPad and iPod Touch on the same network still connect as normal. I have tried everything I can think of together with some ideas posted on various forums, including the following:
Rebooting and reformating the router - a Netgear DG834G v2
Connecting the iMac to the router via ethernet cable
Trying different channels on the wireless network
Altering the physical position of the router
Using Disk Utility to repair the hard drive on the iMac
Using Disk Utility to repair permissions on the iMac
Disconnecting the two external hard drives (one used for Time Machine) in case they were affecting performance
Running anti-virus software on the iMac and deleting any infected files
Disabling the anti-virus software
Deleting the network location on iMac and creating a new one
Trying different DNS servers including 208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220 and 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4
Removing Skype from the iMac - the application my daughter was using when the connection suddenly became slow
Trying to browse in both Safari and Firefox
Resetting caches on the iMac
Rebooting the iMac after trying all the above
Swearing at the computer
Pulling my hair out!
None of these have made any difference. Sometimes when I reboot the iMac the first page I browse to loads reasonably quickly but then it immediately slows to a crawl again. The iPad is still connecting perfectly so I don't think it's an issue with the router.
The iMac is a 24-inch 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Running OS X 10.7.5
The hard drive has a capacity of 320 GB with 62 GB free.
I'm at my wits' end trying to sort this out and don't know what else to try.

In Disk Utility the disk is listed as S.M.A.R.T. Verified and comes up with no errors when checked.
Activity Monitor: with no other applications open Activity Monitor itself is using the greatest percentage of the CPU at approx 3%. Opening Safari and trying to load a web page initially used about 20% but immediately dropped back to less than 1%.
Whilst trying to open the web page I noticed on the Network tab that the Data received/sec is generally between 0-20 bytes/sec, sometimes jumps to a couple of hundred bytes/sec and very occasionally peaks at about 1,000 bytes/sec. Data sent/sec is generally mirroring data received.
Free RAM is at 2.5 GB and free disk space is just short of 63 GB (out of a total capacity of 320GB).
In Console I am getting the following messages:

I am using an iPad and iPhone and have exchange as my email. Both will only collect mails when I am in the wifi of the office, and not when I am out and about. I can't seem to get a fix for it.

How to build a website with working pulldown menus on iPad and iPhone?
Hi everyone!
I have designed a website, http://fccr.ucsd.edu/ , base on "Template #1" by Chris Converse, available at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/dreamweaver_custom_templates.html
The pull-down menus have a curious glitch on the iPad/iPhone which I wanted to ask for help on from anyone who might be knowledgeable on this issue (I have also posted this question on the apple pages, but so far without much constructive help...)
Template #1 has various href="#" tags that presumably the user is to fill in. This works fine on all desktop browsers I checked (IE/Firefox/Opera/Chrome/Safari), but if the tag corresponds to a menu that has to pull down, then by replacing this default tag with a URL, an iPhone/iPad will insist on following the link rather than allowing the menu to pull down. This is a reasonable consequence of using a finger rather than a mouse (which can both hover and click) to operate the menu. Fair enough, it is straightforward to design the dropdown menu layout so that its entries are either links OR designed to open up a new pull-down menu. (future users of these templates should probably be warned about this...)
There is a little glitch, though. If you are exploring Template #1 (or my website) with an iPhone or an iPad, the first pull-down menu which you attempt to pull down after you load a new page will initially not function. However, all of the other pull-down menus will function after that, and after you pull down a different menu, the original pull-down menu that you originally attempted to pull down will also work.
This appears to be a curious feature (bug?) in the implementation of the <UL>, <LI>, and/or <A> tags in the iPhone and iPad browsers. The site http://www.bestbuy.com/ uses the same three tags with some slightly different code behind it, and it somehow avoids this issue (that is, it works correctly on both all five major Desktop browsers and the iPhone/iPad).
Thus, I would very much like Adobe's help to figure out what bestbuy is doing with their use of the <UL>, <LI>, and/or <A> tags in their pull down menus, so that these menus work without this little glitch on the iPhone/iPad, and then to see if we can modify Chris Converse's Template #1 (and my web page) to do the same...

How do I delete items stored in the cloud and clear it so I can get it working? It will not store any more photos. I cannot use it. It is almost full. I don't want to buy any more storage at this time. I delegated some photos on my iPad and MacBook and nothing changes.

I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? I need to install iTunes 11.1 on laptop so my iPad is recognised when connected to it.
Internet Explorer 8 is no longer an option so I have added both Chrome and Firefox to try to download iTunes. The download is almost complete when I get a message ' the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavoidable'
Can anyone assist using simple layman' slang usage.

IOS needs the video to be in html5 format, try to convert the video to html5 or download a sample html5 video from web and verify it.

tabs, e.g.

Now these devices bring up the whole web application.

Command + R (Refresh) not working in Safari and Firefox need Help!
I been having trouble with Command + R (Refresh) in Safari and Firefox for a while, I used to have a MBP 2006 intel 2.4 running Leopard when the problem started,but since I was planning to change to a new computer I didn't pay much attention.
Recently I got a MBP w/ Retina and migrated the info from my old Mac to the new one, and it seem like the Command + R problem to refresh in Safari and Firefox has been brought with the migration.
Another pointer is that I have my mac setup in Spanish although it was setup in English before. This does not seem to be the problem.
Any Ideas on how can I solve this?
Than in advance.Recently Safari started slowing and presenting the infamous spinning wheel of death whenever page has anything flash in it. Since many pages have ads coming in on flash many pages are effected. I almost thought that I had a virus on machine, being a PC guy for 20 plus year prior you can get, pun intended, flashbacks of deadly blue screen etc. Was happening on both my machines readily apparent on homepage msnbc and the like. I cleared caches etc etc infinitum thought I was back on Windows for a minute. I know from listening to various Mac tech shows on twit.tv that Apple apparently is not fond of flash programming as evidenced that flash not on Itouch or Ipad. But what, trying to kil it on regular machines?
When I first came to apple a couple years ago I was using Google Chrome browser on MSFT macines and loved it but atthe time Chrom did not make Mac version. I used Safari and was happy enough UNTIL LATELY with it not to bother with other browsers. NO MORE, so went hunting and happily found that Chrome for Mac available. AMAZINGLY no problems so far msnbc loads, without exaggeration, TEN times faster than on safari, no spiining wheels of death EVERYTHING faster like someone gave my Mac's a B12 shot and restored them to how they used to be. Easily transferred all favorites over simple import.
So far only down side I have found was that bank statement pdf downloads and the like that Safari had bottom screen popup to one click download not on Chrome and print to pdf doesn't seem to do it right so far but I amstill playing. So when I do bank statements I fire up Sarari and suffer the speed.
There is no reason for this APPLE!!! If you are not going to have Safari be the best browser out there for a mac then you should dump it and recommend sometghign else. Please don;t be like MSFT and Internet Explorer junk!

There is no ''true'' version of Firefox for IOS. There is a really cool app called Firefox Home though. Take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[What is Firefox Home]]. It will give you some information on what the app does. If you are interested, [[How to set up Firefox Home on your iPhone]] will show you how to get up and running.
