Ipad and iphone matching.
I have ripped the Jessie J album on to my new imac and then once matched to itunes match have subsequently deleted the album and replaced it with the high quality aac version.
Although there is no problem on itunes match on my imac, the problem occurs when i look for the album on my ipad. The album doesnt show up at all, even when you search for it.
Can anyone help?
This is the first time this has happened. I should also mention that at the same time as doing the jessie j album, i did the david guetta and rihanna album and had no issues at all.
Anyone?
Unlike a lot of people, this is actually the first time i have had an issue with match.

Umm.... why? If you have the CD why not rip it to 256 Kbps AAC in the first place?

I believe simply turning iTunes Match off then back on will get the albums to show up properly on your iDevices. Keep in mind that it can sometimes take a few minutes for the display on an iDevice to update.

Even though she has a different Apple ID from me?Her iPhone will need to be set up to iTunes Match using your Apple ID to be able to share music via iTunes Match. I am so confused about iCloud. My husband says he never set it up but all is information is on both his iPad and iPhone. How can that be and do I have to have iTunes Match?
"All his information" may or may not include things customarily stored in iCloud. Perhaps all the information is on both devices because they were both recently synced using the same iTunes sync.
Do you have to have iTunes Match? No. Many folks do not have iTunes Match. The music purchased from iTunes is always available to the purchaser. Other music is stored in iTunes on the person's computer. -
I have the IPhone, IPad and MacBook, IPad and IPhone share the same Apple ID and Icloud storage. Cannot make ID Change on MacBook as it says the ID is already taken. How can I make all three match?
The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

No, you can only sign up to iTunes Match and upload music to it from a computer's iTunes - it can't be done from iOS devices

Yes.
Keep in mind that streamed music is actually downloaded to iOS devices to a temporary cache. You will probably want to clear this out periodically. -
I have downloaded iTunes Match to my mac. However when I try to access on my iPad and iphone, it says that I have not subscribed. I have the cloud on my mac showing all the songs there. I have tried turning everything on and off and also backed up again. Any suggestions please?
Home sharing is separate from iTunes Match. Sounds like you were playing music using home sharing, which turned off when you turned off your computer.
Open iTunes on your computer and go to the Store menu. Confirm that there is a setting called Turn Off iTunes Match. That will confirm that iTunes Match is enabled on your computer. Then check to see what Apple ID you subscribed to iTunes Match with. It will be the ID in Store>View Account (in parentheses).
On your iPad, confirm that you are signed in with this same ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store (at the top). If so, you should see an iTunes Match setting listed with an on/off slider. Slide it on to enable iTunes Match on your iPad. -
ITunes Match, problems to sincronize the Genius Mixes with my iPad and iPhone
It's pretty simple, meanwhile in iTunes of my Macbook Air (with iTunes Match activated) I can have the genius mixes that I wish, but in the music of my iPad and iPhone (with iTunes Match activated too), only I've got 4 mixes; I do not why and I've really tried everything, I mean, activate, deactivate, synchronize manually, etc. In spite of all I didn't get the genius mixes in my devices. ¿What is it the weirder? Ok, I see. Keep in mind that the Genius mixes in iTunes will not be exactly the same as the Genius mixes on your iOS devices. I don't know why this is, but I suspect it is because they are locally generated. So you simply may not get more than 4 mixes on your devices.
I think, though, the best trouble shooting step is to disable iTM on the devices, launch the Music app and let the content clear out, then re-enable the service on the devices. See if that gives you any better results. -
IPad and iPhone Wrongly Think My Computer is Not Subscribed to iTunes Match
I paid for iTunes Match, my Mac Book Pro shows it is on, my iTunes has it on, and yet when I turn iTunes Match on in my iPad and iPhone, they ask me for my password, then both tell me:
"You are not currently subscribed to iTunes Match. Use iTune on your computer so subscribe."
I restarted everything, but the phone and pad still think the computer's not subscribed?

My laptop has an old email address and the icloud promt came up to re-login for security purposes and the password that I use for apple store does not work although it works on my ipad and iphone. Therefore if i purchase something from apple store, it downloads on ipad and iphone but not on laptop because it won't accept the password that I use on the other two devices. You'll need to get it all onto one iTunes collection on your Mac Pro, then sync the devices to that. iTunes only lets you transfer purchases from a device, otherwise you have to use third party software.
I guess you could also look into getting iTunes Match. -
Home pc is under my husband's user id, I have an iPad and iPhone under my apple id. I have more music on my iPad then on pc or iPhone. If I set up itunes synching over wifi for my devices... What do they sync to? Will the songs on iPad be added to phone/pc? Or will the iPad and iPhone be synced (matched) to pc and reflect what is on that device?
Home Sharing is designed to work on your local network not across the internet/cloud.
Stuff is accessed under the Computers column where your local iTunes library on a local computer would appear.
Home Sharing would share your iTunes content (i.e. stuff stored in itunes on the computer, not in the cloud) with AppleTV or an iPad etc on the SAME network.
AppleTV2 will not be able to see itunes content on the work computer over the internet. It's not designed to. if the work computer was on the home network it would.
iCloud is in it's infancy and is not a mature product - iTunes TV Show purchases appear on AppleTV, but currently music does not unless you are subscribed to iTunes Match. I find this rather odd to be honest, along with the inability to buy music on AppleTV2. Movies purchased in iTunes are not authorised for iCloud viewing currently either.
Maybe it has something to do with iTunes Match 'getting in the way' - i think they assume you'll use that whereas you really want to be able to access Purchased music from the cloud without subscribing to itunes Match which is overkill for some.

Itunes will not add new material to my iPad and iPhone
I have gotten a new imac and I am in the process of trying to reset up my ipad, and iphone. I cannot seem to add new content to either of these. I tell itunes to add certain pictures or music files, but it is not adding them onto either. I have had to restore factory setting to get the ipod up and running.
Some people have reported exactly the same thing and the culprit appeared to be itunes Match. Some people wait for it to resolve itself >1day or othere switch off itunes match and re-import
