Ipad and iPhone not able to send photos via email or text
My iPad2 and iPhone (5s) are not able to send photos via emails or texts. They communicate with each other in sharing the photos but I can't send them out anywhere. Anyone have suggestions?
You can choose Outlook Express by following steps:
1) Launch Starter Edition.
2) Choose Edit menu >> Preferences or press Ctrl + K, to launch preference dialog.
3) Choose Email from side menu on preference dialog.
4) in Client, 'Send Email Using :' set"Outlook Express" and press 'Ok'

I am now unable to send any photos from my iPad2, When I got this last December it worked fine and I could easily take a picture and send it.
About a month ago I tried it and it and it failed, I was abroad and did not think it was a problem?
Although I have not changed anything to my set up outhe than automatic software upgrades on the iPad it refuses to work.
I can send emails without photos and tried rebooting and re setting the internet connection,
The email just sits in the outbox and I get the following message?

I have an iPhone 4 and want to be able to send photos via sms. I hold down the copy button on the picture but when I go to paste it in the text of a message it won't paste. Any ideas on this please??Thanks
No phone can send photos via SMS. You would need MMS (or iMessage or a 3rd party app such as WhatsApp). SMS messages are limited to 160 characters of text only.

I have both an Ipad and Iphone ( not so unique) But I ran in to a question. Is there a way I can send messaged to my Ipad from my Iphone? Is so Please realize that is is new to me and step by step is the only way I am going to figure it out. My iPhone is a 5s running 8.12 and Ipad 4 but not the latest version. Any thoughts?

The problem is with the new operating system and sending photo via email when used in my iPad.
From photo I selected 3 photos to send via email. I choose the upload key and choose to send by email. Typing text on the email is very slow. This is solved by saving the email as a draft and opening the email again from mail.
Can you amend he system to allow emails to be sent from photo as previously.Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off" -

You should be able to copy them over to your Mac's iTunes by connecting the iPad to it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (that should copy PDFs and epubs that are in iBooks, not just actual ibooks) - does that not work ?

I am using safari on my iPad to respond here. What problems are you having? Do you have a good wifi connection? Try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go.

How do I get my iPad and IPhone synced where if I delete an email off one it is deleted off the other device? I can get all the Apps and music from one to the other but why won't the emails I delete off one not delete off the other? Is there anyway where I can make this happen?
As James says, make sure that you are using the IMAP servers for your email. You will need to check the help pages for your email provider to get the correct settings in all your devices. POP really doesn't fit the needs of todays mutiple access, always on internet, so you are better off moving to IMAP.

Since installing Maverick, speed has slowed down considerably. Not able to export photos form email to iphoto. What is going on?
When did you install?
Spotlight will need to re-index the entire system so that can cause slow performance if you updated recently. It can take many hours on a large disk with a lot of data. Click the Spotlight menu, it should say if it is still indexing.
There is no point trying to fix anything whilst this is ongoing, because it may just speed up when complete.
Are you able to drag photos from email to the Desktop or to iPhoto's icon? How about the 'File menu > Save attachments' option?
Please clarify what you have tried, otherwise we may waste time on the wrong thing.
If the system is generally unstable there are other things to try too, such as safe boot.

That will isolate all third party software, if the Mac is able to do the things that didn't work it suggests that you have software that is loading at startup or login. The easiest way for us to see these is if you download EtreCheck & generate a report.

I have just added an exchange email account to my new IPad2. I am able to receive emails but I am not able to send messages from this account. I have the exact same account set up on my Old IPad and iPhone and am ble to send and receive. My work (where the server for this account is) gave me the IPad and set up the apple account. What am I missing?
You might want to try removing they email account and setting it back up again

I tried to get my iPad and iPhone to play Netflix on a Acer 20inch monitor. It started to work than stopped. I got a message that the display connected display is not sponsored. It there a download that is available to have my monitor display video.
I have them connected with a VGA connector. I functions for a bit then I get the non support message.Do you mean per app? Have done for calendar on iphone, but reluctant to do so on ipad as that's the one that contains loads of updates (as it means deleting everything on the ipad?)... if I have to do this I will eventually, its just that as it's both my iphone and ipad involved, it seems like it might be more likely to be an icloud issue? Can someone help me understand something. I'm working on a page document and it synced to icloud fine. I can see the document on Ipad and iphone BUT i can't figure out how to see it on my Macbook Pro. The problem is that there is not a single application that makes use of this on a Mac. Not even iWork09 v9.1 where everybody thought it would sync to the cloud and to iOS5 - it does not.
Iwork Users need to open Safari, go to www.icloud.com, into the iwork section there in the browser and drag and drop the files from Mac to the cloud this way to have the documents in the cloud and have them available onto their iOS5 , too.
No way around that clumsy solution.
"documents and data" is currently limited to iWork for iOS only. ( Sketchbook Pro for iOS and a handful of mini apps start using it too, on iOS that is all - not on Mac ) .
