Ipad and iTunes 10

I installed Itunes 10 in my PC (Windows XP Home Edition). Since then, when I connect my Ipad and the system crashes and the following error appear: "STOP: 0X0000007E). When I had the older version of iTunes, nothing happened.

Let's first check on the possibilities from the following two documents:

I'm thinking we check on the Radeon issue first, because Radeon driver trouble can also cause device-connection blue screens, and the Radeon-related blue screens also quite often are 0x7Es nowadays. If the blue screen is referencing the following file:
ati3duag.dll
... then the issue is definitely related to your Radeon.

I have been creating a photo book using a lots of photographs on iPhoto, and then I took another photos by using new iPAD which I want to integrate with the original album/book on iMac. I was able to import them from iPAD's iPhoto to iMac's iPhoto. However I cannot import or transfer or sync anything from iMac's iPhoto to that of my iPAD.
So my iPhoto page on iPAD contains only 3 or 4 newly created albums, and no other info. That means no syncing....
I am supposed to be able to work on this project on either of these iPAD and iMac, correct?
I am puzzled. I appreciate for your advice and help.

It doesn't appear under the iPad device on the left-hand sidebar of iTunes, you need to select the iPad device on the sidebar and then select the Photos tab on the right-hand side of iTunes e.g.

I have a question about email. I have several thousand emails in 10 or so days. How can I select multiple emails for deletion in stead of one at a time? How do I designate emails from a given sender as junk or block certain senders?

I'd suggest converting your old videos to one of those formats
handbrake is a free program which does this for you
itunes used to be able to too when I right clicked incompatible media but don't see the option any more
or maybe it only show when one right click incompatible media and currently my lib don't have any
about the music then it's odd what formats are they?
if they are acc protected have you tried to remove the DRM this can be don using itunes as
apple don't use DRM for music any more

Have you tried connecting to another network besides your own?
Do you use DHCP on your router or static IP address?

DFU Restore
This will very likley result in loss of data.
Plug the iPhone into the computer.
Ensure that it is running the latest version of iTunes and that it has access to the internet.
Press and hold both the home and sleep/wake buttons for exactly eight seconds.
Release only the sleep/wake button but continue to hold the home button for another five seconds.
Let go of the home button, then look at the computer screen for an instructional popup.
The popup should say "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode. . .(etc)" Click accept to all boxes and let iTunes download and install all of the latest device Firmware and Software.
If no popup appears, repeat the above DFU instructions. If you've never done a DFU, it may take about three attempts to get the timing right.

Differences in "storage used" between iPad and iTunes

I have an iPad Mini 2 and there a differences between the stated "storage used" between the iPad and iTunes.
Looking in the general settings "Storage" it states I have used 113GB and available is 413MB.
Looking on iTunes, when the iPad is connected, it states I have 67.20GB free.
Which is correct and what causes the problem?
How is it fixed if it is because the iPad has a fault?

It is now a couple of weeks and noticed the discrepancy occurring again. I did not want to go through the above process again because it took about 4 hours to get my iPad up, running again and normal.
Again, there was a difference in memory by about 20GB.
This time it tried something different.
1) Went into General settings on iPad and managed memory. From here I removed all films and TV episodes. Now Video memory was zero.
2) Switched off WiFi. When I opened the Video app, I noticed a pile of films and TV episodes showing, even though they had the cloud icon. They could even be watched. I deleted these films/episodes.
3) Viewed the iPad memory using iTunes on laptop and compared to iPad general settings usage (video memory negligible). Both numbers pretty much spot on.
My musings - I can only assume that the iPad does not properly delete films/episodes that I had previously watched. It is evidently holding on to the video, even though I had deleted them and they were not showing in general settings. Though it is a hassle, I at least now how to find where the "lost" memory is and how to reclaim it.

23 GB of other indicates a corrupt file(s). A restore should resolve.

HT1727 I bought a new computer that I wish to be the primary computer for my iPhone, iPad and iTunes. I cannot sync my apple products to the new computer.

You can only buy from the UK iTunes Store, and per the Terms of Use for the UK Store, you agree not to attempt to use it from outside of the UK. Apple may take technological steps to prevent such use, though I've never seen any reliable indication that they do so.

IPad and iTunes syncing issues

I gave my old computer to my Dad, I need to add my ipad to my new computer. I downloaded the itunes on my new computer, but when I try to sync, it tells me that the ipad is synced with another iTunes library and ipad can be synced with only 1 iTunes library. Is there anyway to unsync with the old computer and sync with the new computer without loosing all the apps and data that I have on my ipad?

The ipad will sync itunes content and pics from one and only one computer at a time. When you sync to another it will indeed erase the current content from the ipad and replace with content from the new computer.
You need to copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of the old computer to the new one.

I am not syncing any music videos, movies, TV shows, Podcasts or content from iTunes U.
The iPad Free Space indicator is reporting I have 8.9GB avail, but counting video as using 17.9GB of my iPad's total capacity.
Anyone else?

There seems to be some reports that iTunes is reporting the wrong numbers for the free space, thought that's not happening to me (as best as I can tell) on my iPhone and iPad.
As for Photogene, my guess is that you're trying to install the iPhone version on your iPad. The iPhone version only works on iOS 4.0, so can't be installed on the iPad. There is an iPad version, but you have to buy it separately.

IPad and iTunes on computer have same iTunes account but no Sync

iTunes thinks that my iPad and computer are using different iTunes accounts when they are the same.
I have double checked in Setting->Itunes Store on iPad.
When I try and sync any content iTunes says it will erase all content on the iPad and reload from iTunes on computer.
The kids will kill me if I do this as all their game progress will be deleted.
Or is this message misleading? will iTunes realise they are actually the same account if I go ahead?
I recently had to rebuilt my computer and re-install iTunes, but surely this should make any difference to iTunes?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
