Ipad/ app no longer listed on the purchased list or in the app store
I purchased an app (print to PDF) on my iPad, I recently updated the iOS and lost all my apps, when I went to my purchased list to re-download it it was not listed; I searched for it in the app store and can not find it. Is it still possible to get it bac
Sorry, but if it's no longer in the iTunes Store and you don't have a backup in iTunes or elsewhere on your computer, there's no way you can get the app back.

My apps do not show up on purchased list on the iPhone even I see them on iTunes store apps. That happened after that I changed my Appple ID email adress.
What is the soluton for that problem?Go to Settings/iTunes & App Stores and sign out. Then sign in with your new Apple email ID.

What used to work just fine, is no longer working...
Within the last 2 days, song purchases that were made on my ipod Touch are no longer being transferred when the ipod synchs up. The strange thing is that the songs appear in iTunes --> Store -- Purchased list, but are greyed out. They play just fine on the ipod...but aren't making it back to the Mac.
I have tried right clicking on the ipod when it appears in iTunes and selecting "Transfer purchases", but that doesn't seem to work either.
Any clues as to what is going on?

TimOne other very important piece of information I forgot to include...the purchases were made prior the iOS update. So the sequence of events went like this:
1) ipod Touch with previous iOS (4.0 I think)
2) purchases made
3) ipod connected and iTunes prompts for iOS update
4) iOS upgraded to 5.0
5) Now the purchases seem to be stranded on the ipod Touch

I bought a brand new mac and follow through setting up process with my apple id but when I open App Store I don't see lion into the purchases list. why?
Updates come through Software Update not the App Store. If you have to reinstall Lion that is done via Internet Recovery.

i have backed up my device on iCloud and my computer.
After restoring my device from backup, some of the apps I have purchased are missing in the purchase list.
It seems that i need to pay for them again in order to purchase.

I just bought a new ipod and transfered all the data from my old ipod to my new one. I logged into the app store but under the purchase list there are none of my apps that i downloaded on my old ipod. Please help!
Yes and yes....it turned out that after I restarted my iPod and then logged out and logged back in to the App Store that my whole purchase list came back. Thanks for your time though.

Delete songs from the purchased list
Is there any way to delete songs from the purchased library list?
I no longer like the song, so I would like to get rid of it. If I was tired of a CD, I would get rid of it. It seems like I should be able to do the same thing with the purchased list.

How to add songs to a playlist when the songs are NOT on the Purchased list
In Itunes there used to be, in the Playlist page, a "playlist" which appeared at the top called All Music. In the more recent versions of Itunes this is no longer the case and All Music has disappeared and the closest you can get is Purchased. Unfortunately the Purchased list misses out all sorts of things which were genuinely added to Itunes.
In the old days I could select any group of songs from the All Music "playlist" and simply drag them into the appropriate playlist. No problem. Obviously I can still do this if all the songs are on Purchased but, if they are not, what do I do.
I know that it is possible to see all the songs by clicking on Songs at the top of the page and I can then select those that I wish to add to a playlist. But there is no way (that I can see) of dragging these to the required playlist since playlists do not appear in this page format. There is nothing in File or Edit which looks useful. I even tried Copying the selection (in desperation i must admit) with a view to subsequently Pasting to the appropriate playlist but, as I expected, that has a greyed out Paste so no luck there.
There obviously must be a way of adding songs which do not appear in Purchased to a playlist. What am i missing?Hi scroobyplex, I think i am now fairly happy with the situation as explained in my last post but, as you have taken the trouble to reply, i will try to explain myself a bit better as i don't seem to have been very successful so far.
As I mentioned in my 2nd post, I am well aware of the Categories button at the top left of the screen under File/Edit/View etc. For me this is always set to Music since i don't use any of the other categories.
I am not sure what you mean when you say clicking on Music shows all my music files. In fact, when I click on category Music, I then get various choices appearing along the top of the screen as mentioned in my 1st post - Songs, Artists, Albums, genres, Playlists. If i choose any of the first four I do get a full list of all my tracks but there is no facility there for dragging selected tracks onto a specific playlist.
The other option is Playlists. This gives me a list of all my current playlists,both those created by me and those created automatically by Itunes (of which the previously mentioned Restored Playlist .... playlist is an example) The Playlist screen always opens with one of the playlists already selected
The only option i have then of seeing a different list of tracks is to select a different playlist. If i want to add new tracks to a playlist, often the Purchased list will be OK as a source for dragging but, if i have loaded a CD into Itunes, I would need to select the Restored Playlist... playlist as any new tracks seem to automatically go onto this regardless of the source. There is nothing else which gives me a full list of tracks on a screen which permits dragging onto any specific playlist.
As mentioned in my previous post I have no idea why all my music, both old and new, goes into a playlist called Restored Playlists.... instead of something sensible like Music or All Music but it does what i need so i no longer have a problem -

I clicked download from the purchased list in the app store, but then decided to cancel it until later in the day but it removed it from my list.
How to I start the download again?That didnt show anything casper, but it did help me
I went Store -> View my Account ->View hidden purchases.

I purchased numbers for my mac and my iPad. It is asking me to purchase it again (for the 3rd time) for my iPhone.
Is that correct?You only need to purchase Numbers once for each OS. Have you tried connecting your iPhone to your Mac via iTunes & adding Numbers there?

The iOS versions of the iWork apps are "universal' & there is no reason to have to buy the iPhone version first. -
my ipod app no longer works. Everytime I go to open the ipod app it stays open for a second and then shuts down. I am not able to get anything to play either through the standard ipod controls or the multitasking control panel. I'm sure there will be an update soon to correct this, i just wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem.

I like to make MP3 CD's when I have people over, or when my friends have people over so I can just pop them into the CD player and let them play all night without having to worry about changing the CD or anything. Well, Apple's music is in AAC format, so I have to convert the songs to MP3 files using the converter in iTunes. So I'll convert them to MP3's and just delete the AAC file so I don't have doubles. The problem is, the next time I plug the phone into my laptop to transfer new purchases, iTunes thinks that the songs I converted aren't there anymore because the phone has them as AAC files, and iTunes has them as MP3 files, so it doubles the music again...EVERY time!! It's very frustrating! So this is why instead of clicking Transfer Purchases, I would like to be able to just drag and drop the songs I want from the Purchased list on the phone into my iTunes library. I hope I explained this right...lol. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like I'm able to do that. I'm hoping maybe somebody here can help me out and give me some pointers on what to do about this. That stinks! I can actually do that at my house...I just plug my iPhone right into the wire that's plugged into my receiver in my living room...but some of my friends aren't "technology savvy"...lol...so they just have DVD players and I'll put the CD in there because it will read an MP3 disc. What's funny, is I have the phone set to "Manually Manage Music", and when I plugged it into the laptop just now, the one song I downloaded last night on the phone, transferred over to the iTunesl library. That NEVER happens. And it only transferred the one song...it didn't double the other songs like it ususally does. I swear, iTunes does what it wants, when it wants sometimes...lol. Perhaps you are repeatedly checking for available updates while downloads are in progress. This can sometimes cause more than one copy to be added to the download queue.

Just updated to iCloud, but I can't find the 'purchased' list on the iTunes store on my iPhone. There's no button for it on the toolbar or under the 'more' option. Want to play/download my puchased music via iCloud on my iPhone.... Help someone please?!
