Ipad app with gallery and text

good evening,
i hope some one will be able to help me.
i saw a tutorial where a lay photographer showed how to make a gallery ( on the left side) with scrollable text on the right. i was so dumb not to save or bookmark the url.
Is there anyone where I can find this tutorial? I thought it was Julieanne Kost, the Adobe evangelist, but she replied that she didn' t make that tutorial.

Sounds like a multiple-state-object (MSO )with scrolling frame text would work. I would set up my pictures as buttons on the left which would have a go to state action for the MSO. Each state would hold the scrollable text frame and the associated copy for the picture. Here's a link on scrollable text frames Digital Publishing Suite Help | Scrollable Frame overlays. Everytime I try to send a message to a person that does not have an Apple product ( Iphone or Ipad ) it comes up saying contact is not registered for iMessage and wont send it. I can only send them a message from my iPhone 4 instead. Do I have to install a new App from the App store to send these non iMessage cell users a message?

the free apps are only for ios device (iphone ipad ipod touch) and do not work on mac computers. if you do get pages and numbers on your mac though you can sync the information using icloud

I imported a Garageband song from my iPad app with all 8 tracks full, now I want to put on vocal & guitar tracks but it won't let me. Also I have always problems when opening Garageband as I had an external hard drive connected to my Macbook Pro when I first downloaded it. It won't open without the external drive being plugged in. It says invalid instrument library and so on. I have tried trashing the program then reloading it nothing works; so I can't use Garageband unless the external is attached. I was also trying to send the song to Logic 8 but I can't find a video tutorial or relevant info in the manual; although I am thinking of updating Logic to the latest version. AAAGHH!!

I was able to get this to work for deleting single song, but it simply ignored me when I tried to delete whole albums or artists. As there are many thousands of Christmas tracks, deleting one by one was not an option.
When I first started to research this I was not able to find any posts on the subject (because I did not know about the left swipe to delete gesture and so did not search for it). Now that I know I found this post which gives a number of different ways to do this:

At first I tried this option:
If you are trying to batchdelete all music on an iOS device, it can be done.
1) Settings > General > Usage
2) Let the Storage settings load.
3) Click on Music...on next screen, swipe anddelete.
That does zap everything, but it suited my purposes. At first I though this was working, lots of tracks started to go back into the cloud (although this does not happen allat once, it seems to do it in the background over a period of time). The usage screen said I had free space on the iPad, but when I plugged it into iTunes the iPad showed as full and the tracks were all still listed under music.
So I tried this:
You can turn off iTunesmatch and then sync a very small number of tracks via iTunes, which shouldreplace the downloaded tracks with the synced tracks. Then turn Match back on.It's a pain but that is the only way I have found to mass delete.
Which did the trick, but is something of a nuclear option.
Looks like Apple have some work to do here. Deleting a track at a time or everything in one go is too clumsy. You need to be able to delete Albums, Artists or Genres in the sameway you can delete songs. I wish there was a way of reporting bugs like this to Apple, but short of signing up to be a developer, there does not seem to be away. If anyone reading this is a developer, perhaps you can get a paste the text into a bug report.

I was using "remote" with a D-link modem, that works fine at my iPad. But now I´m using only the cell phone as modem 3G, and don´t want to intall a router to put new cables at my notebook.

You want to control iTunes on your computer using the Remote app on your iPad?

No, this will not work.
Just create a network with your notebook.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I have a subscription to Creative Cloud that is about to expire.
Before I renew - want to know if I can publish an iPad app with Creative Cloud, or do I need to upgrade to Creative Suite or Digital Publishing Suite?

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

Had iPad apps on iTouch and they ran fine. synced several times

I have a new iPod iTouch. I have downloaded several iPad apps on iTouch and they ran fine. I synced several times with not a problem. Now the iPad apps have disappeared off my iPod ITouch. I have not deleted them and the iPad apps remain in my library. Not sure why they have disappeared and I can't get them to download back to iTouch. I have deleted the iPad apps from my library and re-downloaded but they won't sync. I had a previous iOS and updated to iOS6.1.3 version.

Right. But as I understand it, the aGPS is a function that speeds location using cell signals, but isn't necessary for the GPS signal. I can buy a plugin device that is a real GPS that I can use with my iPad mini. However, I would need an app for maps. I was wondering if anyone had used one of these.

This article explains ways to reduce your iCloud storage: Managing your iCloud storage. In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud. To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back. (In fact, it's faster because you don't have to download the data from iCloud.)

What does this mean? All files are closed; this iMovie project is the only thing open. Does it mean one of the song files from iTunes? And should I just settle for saving it as a "large" file, which is what I'm trying right now?

When I place an pdf (with graphics and text) in the body of my email using Mac Mail my recipient sees them as attachments only. I am trying to find a way of presenting a formatted email with graphics that will appear the same way to all recipients, but a pdf frequently ends up being an attachment instead of staying in the body. The pdf file doesn’t seem to always show up in the body as created. Is there a better way to accomplish this?

You have no control over how your email maybe rendered by other email servers and client side software.
Attachment Tamer may give you a few more options but it does not guaranty the end result.
