Ipad asking for apple id when app is launched
All of the sudden our ipads are asking for the Apple ID when a student tries to launch an app.
Having this exact same issue that literally popped up over night. I have 24 iPads in a classroom that I use Apple Configurator with. I've not had any problem up until the last couple days. Various apps, when opened will prompt for an apple id and password. If the student hits cancel, the app shuts down.

Repeatedly asking for apple password when adding security questions
when trying to download apps on ipod touch it asks me to choose 3 security questions (which i did 2 days ago when i first set it up )but when continuing to try and answer questions its repeatedly asks for apple password which i am entering correctly and doesnt seem to get any further and therefore i cant download apps.
Can anyone help?I encountered this on my son's iPod Touch. I tried an 'Update All', but since he has one or two apps from his sister's Apple ID and she wasn't here to enter her password (which stopped the whole process!) I wanted to just update the other apps (purchased on my Apple ID). However, since there wasn't an option to skip an app, it seemed the only way to update the others (around 50 apps) was to click on all the update buttons individually. That would have been annoying enough, but fancy being asked to type in my password for every… single… app!
Absolute madness. Does Apple not think through these things anymore? They used to pay such careful attention to little details of the user experience. Very frustrating. -
On Ipad the app store asks for the wrong ID when I try to downlaod or update an app. But the correct ID and password are entered in the Settings for App store on the same Ipad. I have re-entered them, but I still get wrong one requested. Any suggestions??
apps are forwever linked to the ID that was used to downlaod them. I suggest you delete the apps that ask for the old ID and download them again with your current ID

ITunes asking for apple ID when importing tracks from Windows Media Player
I have a friend who is a new radio DJ. I have convinced her that iTunes would be better to play her tracks from than WMP. What has happened is that iTunes has imported all of her tracks and albums from WMP but it is asking for her Apple ID for every track she tries to play.
Most of these tracks were imported into WMP from CD so why is iTunes asking for the Apple ID? How do I resolve this for her?Are these songs MP3's or WMA files? What is the source of those songs? Did you rip from CDs into Windows Media Player? If you did then they shouldn't be protected files. iTunes will now have to convert them to an iTunes compatible file (MP3/AAC)

i brought an ipad for my daughter 2 years ago i have had to restore this due to her entering the wrong passcode few times as she is only 8 i have done all that was asked now its asking me for the apple id and passcode i have entered all the ids and passwords i can think off the hint of id has gave me no clue at all i have been trying to do this all night its her birthday tomorrow and i need it unlocked i have recipt is there anny way at all thank you
Perhaps you have been given the incorrect user id deliberately.
If this is the case and the phone won't work, then you are stuffed and there is nothing you can do. You will never be able to use the phone again, so cut your losses and return it for a full refund and buy a new phone from a legitimate source next time. -

Ipad mini on Power on asks for iCloud password
To clarify this issue:
I do have a different (few years old) Apple ID and created new iCloud ID when I purchased this iPad mini. My passwords for Apple ID and iCloud are different. Ipad asks for Apple ID whenever I want to purches any new App or music what seams to be correct.
iCloud Photo Stream works fine on PC as well as on iPad.
After Power on my iPad mini I have a popup asking for iCloud password. Regardles if I enter my pass or just click "Cancel" it goes away and everything including iCloud and iCloud email works fine. When there is no WiFi available It cannot verify entered password anyway and is keep asking until I click Cancel.
Process of pressing and holding Home button and Power button didn't change asking for password.
I went to Settings->iCloud->Delete Account and deleted it opting for remove and merge and leter I Signed to iCloud again. No change..
I chatted with Apple and they suggested to reset WiFi somewhere in Settings->General----..
This solved the problem for few hours. What I mean when I tried Power off and then Power on again while chatting with Apple the iPad didn't ask for password. After an hour or so it asked again and now is keep asking for iCloud password on power on again although not every time. It has nothing to do with WiFi because it did the same while I was connected to a few different WiFis or not connected at all. Since entering the iCloud password or Cancel does not make any difference until I power it off it means there is a bug somewhere in the Apple's software.
I do not have many Apps installed and in a mean time I removed King Photo because it was failing sometimes.
I'll chat with Apple again as soon as I have at least one hour free time during work hours. -

It's a security feature that was brought in a few months ago - when you try to purchase something for the first time on a new computer or device then you will be asked for the answers to your questions (or to set them up if you haven't yet created them).

The iTunes Store needs the 3-digit security code from your credit card on the account. The iPad will display the account information so you can enter this information. Once you enter the information, purchase the app and it will download. Sounds like the Apple ID and payment information is not yours (your parents), so discuss this with the account holder.

Yahoo has been doing things to their servers that often muck up the Mail app. Usually it takes 24-48 hours to run its course then it'll work again.
if it doesn't clear up by the end of the weekend, you can remove and readd your account, but chances are it'll just start to work. -
HT2589 App updates asking for apple id with wrong apple id
My husband is trying to update an app on his ipad and it is not only asking for apple I'd password, but it brings up my apple Id. We checked in setting and t shows his apple id. How can he update without signing in especially with my id.
You should be prompted for the password for the account that originally bought/downloaded the app. Have you tried typing in your account's password when trying to download the update - you shouldn't need to go into Settings and log out of his account and in with yours.
If it was definitely bought/downloaded with his account, then depending upon what the app is and whether it has any content in, then you could try deleting it and re-downloading it from his account. -

Downloading apps it asks for apple ID Pass then it says "verification required". Then says Security Code required. Doesn't accept code. itunes doesn't accept code from visa card either?Please Help
If it is trying to verify your payment info, I would be willing to guess that it is looking for the security code for your credit card. Did you credit card just get replaced lately or the expiration date change? When is the last time that you updated your payment information in iTunes?
