IPad calendar on Google calendar?

Hello -
How can I view my iPad calendar on my Google calendar? When I update my calendar on my iPad, I can see them on my phone/desktop but not the other way around...
Thanks in advance for the help!

Make sure you are posting to your google calendar in the Cal app. Most likely you are just posting to a local calendar. There is an option for that when you create an event.

  • Why do I get double entries when synching calendar with Google calendar?

Since I have different iCloud passwords on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s, I synch the calendars with Google calendar.  It works - to a point.  The problem I'm getting double entries in my IOS calendars.  Any suggestions?

I too was having this issue recently.  I decided to look into it and discovered that www.google.com and all of the search results accessed through using a google search engine toolbar were currupt.  I believe I solved this problem by updating my firmware of my router.
Type in your IP address in your Address Bar (search using Yahoo what your default IP router address is if you haven't changed it since you got it.)  You'll then need to navigate to your router's website (ex: I search Cisco and Linksys and found mine).
Most logins to the router are
    Name: admin
    Password: password
You will then download a .bin file and go to your administrator page in your router's control panel and go to Firmware Upgrade.  Click the "find file" (or whatever it says) and click upgrade.  This worked for me.
If this doesn't solve it, reset the router to it's default settings by either using it's control panel or holding the reset button on the back of it in for several seconds.  This will reset any port forwarding you may have set up as well as your Wifi password.
    Hope this helps,

  • View mac calendar in Google Calendars

Is it possible to display my Mac Calendar in Google Calendars? I don't care about syncing - only need to view the mac calendar when I open Google calendar.
    Thank you.

Have a look at Google's Help pages and see whether there is anything useful there:

  • Share icloud calendar with google calendar users

I know that this has been asked before, but I can find no official response from apple to the question of how to share my icloud calendar with google calendar users (or frankly, anyone not using icloud)
Can anyone point me to an official response to this surprising intransigence?
    cheers
    Ben

It is a 2 way sync, enter the event on the iCloud calendar (in Google) and it will be there when you view the calendar in iCal, or Google or at the iCloud website.
Do you know how to publish to Google in BusyCal?

  • Does syncing your iphone iOS calendar with Google calendar overwrite what's currently in your iPhone calendar?

I have been syncing my iphone calendar over icloud.  I want to sync it with my google calendar now, as well (my google calendar is currently blank and has no entries).  If I set this up, will my iphone calendar get overwritten by my google calendar, ultimately erasing everything?  The instructions I'd  be using to sync my iphone calendar to my Google calendar are at the link below:
    http://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=151674
    Thanks!

Though, to get you started, as is shown in step 1, you do need to export your calendars into google calendar....
    Not true! According to http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=151674
By default only your primary calendar will be synced to your device. You can sync additional calendars by visiting the following page from any web browser:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect
(Google Apps users can go to https://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/your_domain/iphoneselect, replacing 'your_domain' with your actual domain name.)
Select the calendars you'd like to sync, and click Save. The selected calendars will display on your device at the time of the next sync.
I'm very happy to have found this thread (started on my birthday!) which has helped me use google calendar to sync the iCal calendar on my Cube running OS 10.4 to the iCal calendar on my iPhone 4. I'm now able to sync the iPhone to the Cube directly, but now it doesn't matter!
In order to sync the iCal calendar on my Cube with my google calendar I'm using BusySync.

  • TS3999 How do I export iCloud calendar to Google Calendar?

My personal agenda is saved on Google Calendar and my office agenda in saved on iCloud Calendar.
So I have to open to pages at the same time every day to manage my commitments: www.icloud.com and calendar.google.com
I cant stand this situation anymore. It is making my day improductive.
I just want to merge the agendad into Google Calendar, so I could see all my events in just one calendar.
So, how do I export iCloud calendar to Google Calendar?

You can back up your iCloud calendar as an ICS file if Google can import this format.  To do so follow these directions:
    iCloud.com Calendar
This method of backing up starts with publishing a calendar that you can then download to your computer. If your calendar is already on your computer, skip to the OS X or Windows instructions.
Go to iCloud Calendar at icloud.com/calendar and sign in using your iCloud Apple ID and password.
    Publicly share a calendar.
Select and copy the URL (web address) from that shared calendar, and paste it to the address field in your browser; do not press Enter or Return yet.
Change "webcal" to "http", and then press Enter.
An ICS file will download to your default downloads location. The calendar can be added to a calendar client like iCal on Mac or Outlook on a Windows PC.
Once the download completes, unpublish the shared calendar.

  • How to sync multiple iPhone calendars with Google calendars?

    Hi
I have an iPhone 4S with 5 different IOS calendars setup on it.  I have linked my iPhone 4S to Outlook calendars via iClouds so when I update any of the calendars it successfully updates all the calendars in Outlook.  I now want to be able to sync all my 5 IOS calendars with Google Calendar - I don't mind not being able to 2-way sync and don't mind Google calendar being read only but I DO want Google Calendar to keep updated with any changes I make on my IOS calendars.
I've currently got my gmail account on my iPhone as a CalDav account but it only updates the primary IOS calendar.  I want to be able to sync all 5 IOS calendars to Google calendar and keep it updated.  How do I do this?
    Thanks
    Amanda

  • HT1692 Trouble syncing iPad calendar with Google calendars

My iPad happily downloads all events that are updated to my Google calendar from the exchange system on my laptop but will not upload events that are entered directly to my iPad in the reverse direction meaning I have to enter these to Exchange manually, then these "new" entries are happily updated back to my iPad so I end up with duplicate antries on the iPad. Any ideas???

You've wandered into the Podcasts forum. Could I refer you to the iPad forum.

  • IPad Calendar and Google Calendar?

I have a couple of Google Calendars that I use, both syncing with my MBP, the iPhone (the web) and now the iPad.
Setup was easy as, the calendars are syncing and showing up as expected with a big BUT.
If I add an entry on the iPad or the iPhone or the web it shows up across all devices and can be deleted from all devices, but I also have an auto rule on my work account to auto delegate all meetings to my Google calendar. These auto delegated meetings show up as un accepted (unless I manually accept them) and work fine on all my other devices, yet on the iPad I can't delete them (there is no option) but I can on the iPhone...
Has anyone seen this sort of behaviour? Is there something I am doing wrong?

and now to add a bit more to it, I have broken it even more.
I watched the father in law set up his new iPad on Windows over the weekend and noticed that he simply ticked the "sync mail" box, selected his accounts and all details (except the passwords) were transferred to the iPad automatically. I figured the same would happen for calendars on my Mac, so playing in iTunes (OS 10.6.3) I notice the tick box for "sync calendars" and decide to turn that on to sync an extra calendar I'm subscribed to in iCal. I left on sync all calendars (including those that were already setup on the iPad) and everything seemed to work....
until I go into Calendar on the iPad, the two original accounts are now doubled up, no problems I think, I'll just remove them from when I have manually added them. So I remove them, but none of the entries go away... After much clicking and restarting and adding and removing it seems that there is no way to delete a calendar from the iPad ON the iPad itself. It also seems if you just untick "sync calendars" in iTunes it just stops syncing, but doesn't delete the calendar... yet it doesn't show up in the settings as a calender, nor can I add new events to it. There is also no way to delete all calendars since if I manually untick all calendars and try to sync from iTunes it decides I must really mean "sync all" so switches to that and re-syncs everything...
I'm about 1 step away from simply restoring the whole **** thing and starting again

  • How to sync ipad calendar with google calendar?

    Hi,
I want to know how to sync my ipad calendar with google account. I have already add account on the settings "mail, contacts, calendar, with gmail.
So, I want sync icloud with google calendar or with blackberry (that's connected with google calendar).
    Thank you

There is no suich thing as a Google iPad.  iPads are made by Apple not Google. What device do you have exactly? If its made by Google its not an iPad.  It may be a Tablet though.

  • Local iphone 4 calendar with google calendar

    Hi,
    Hopeless... )-:
Got a few calenders on my iphone. How do I sync them with google calendar (not going through Outlook)?
My prime calendar is being synced over the air through a gmail exchange configuration.
I am not a Techie... Any help will be much appreciated. Many thanks!

You can't use bluetooth to transfer files between your Macbook and tour iPhone.  Use iTunes and sync the data to/from your phone.  Caution:  Be sure that your Macbook's calendar and address book have at least one entry (even a dummy entry) in order to generate a merge prompt. If you try to sync a bland\k address book or calendar, the blank file will replace the files in your iPhone.
