IPad camera not focusing well...

Hi,
I have an iPad that is less than three months old. Recently I wanted to download and use a barcode reader, but have been unsucessful on every attempt. I realized that the biggest problem in reading my barcode is the focus. My friend showed me her phone while scanning a barcode and her phone auto-focused the image to make it more stable and easy to read. I held my iPad up and the stinking image is blurry upclose, and not that good far away either. My question is - why? Isn't the iPad's camera supposed good? Is mine defective?
If this is a defect, is it under warranty?

My new Nokia E 5 does not focus well, HELP!

Hey all I have bought Nokia E5 just couple of weeks ago. Camera does not focus well and the pictures are not clear. 3.2 MP Camera of my nokia N93 was alot better than its(E5) 5 Mega Pixel. I don't own an E5, but assume you know its camera uses a different focusing technology than most other Nokia phones, EDoF (Extended Depth of Field)? Z10 camera not focusing,not ringing at times and randomly calling out

For example, you might find that the brick wall is not the only problem. There may be other devices pumping out enough wireless interference to be making things even worse.
I agree with Bob Timmons that Ethernet is best and most reliable. And that powerline (which I use) is easier and potentially faster than wireless...but only if your power lines do not have electrical devices plugged in which produce electrical noise on the line. Powerline will be slower than Gigabit Ethernet.
Ethernet cable is the only way to ensure that the signal goes directly there in a shielded way for a clear fast signal. Wireless and powerline are much slower because of all the other things the signal has to fight past to get to the other device.

IPad camera not working after 7 download?

After downloading the latest OS for my iPad, (which I don't really like BTW) my iPad camera doesn't work alone or with Facetime

if its not restricted in settings - general - restrictions - camera
then try this
reset all settings
settings- general- reset - reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings - wifi- click network name - enter password - join
if issue persists backup info and restore via itunes

Your iPad 2 crash and perform slow mostly because it is old, not suitable for running in iOS 8 though Apple has listed it in the compatible list. You have 2 options to improve its performance:
1st, speed up iOS 8 on your iPad. To make it, you should try software, like SafeEraser to clear junk files and deleted files. Then delete unwanted apps, text messages, photos, and more, leaving more storage on the iPad for other items. Most of all, end multiple task while starting a new task. And you should also need to reduce motion effect and transparency.
2nd, if the first way can't solve the crash and slow problem, you should consider a downgrade. Now you can downgrade iPad 2 from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2. but you have to do it in a hurry, because later Apple may close the verifying process for iOS 7. Here are steps:
1). Download iOS 7.1.2 firmware according to your iPad model. there are multiple websites offering the download. Google it by yourself
2). Make sure you have install the latest version of iTunes.
3). Connect your iPad to computer via a USB cable.
4). After detected, your iPad will be shown in the left column. Click it to show the control panel.
Note: Make sure you have backups of your iPhone 4S. if not, backup it now.
5). Under Summary tab,hold on Shift key for Windows (Option key for Mac )and click Restore iPad...
6). In the pop-up window, find the firmware on your computer and click Open. Then， iTunes will downgrade your iPad to iOS 7.1.2.

HTC One - Camera Not Focusing

My camera is not focusing and when I push on the screen, it says "AUTO EXPOSURE/AUTO FOCUS LOCKED". With that, the screen does not move around as you move the phone around and you can't see what your taking a picture of. When I switch to video, it does move as you move the phone and is fine..but camera is not. ANY IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON?

Front and Rear-Facing Cameras not focusing...

Hello all,
Neither my front facing or rear-facing cameras will focus. I've tried every single hint and tip to try and get it to focus including restarting and a full restore, to no success.
I was wondering if this is a common issue and whether or not Apple will repair it and how much it is likely to cost? I was also wondering if it's a fault with the cameras or something internal like the motherboard?

IPad camera not opening

My ipad camera keeps on failing. Closing it off does not work. Sometimes rebooting will work but only after multiple times. Wiping it fixes it but comes back. What is wrong with this glitchy software. It works on FaceTime. Not on anything camera related. Work is making me also get an IPhone, so I lose my Andorid wher the phone scanner works all the time. I need a fix Apple.

Try this:
1. Close all inactive apps. Double-click the Home button and hold apps in the Task Bar down until they all wiggle then tap the minus sign to close apps. Tap the home button to return to Home screen.
2. Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

Go to settings>icloud>storage and back up>back up
after that preform a restore by going to
general>reset>erase all content and settings
this will delete everything except the enabled stuff on icloud.
You can view whats enabled by going to icloud in settings.

Ipad camera not functional is only the start of my problems

I have an ipad mini which I bought in September 2014. A few months ago the back camera stopped working, when I click on the camera app it might work for a second or 2 then freeze, or half the screen turns purple and locks up. Maybe after about 20 seconds it unfreezes momentarily then locks up again. Front camera works fine.
Compounding this is abysmal Apple support- I tried to contact Apple support 3 times and they suggested I 'bring in it'... However, the Hong Kong repair centres were booked solid. I tried to re-book a week later and it was booked solid again!
Either way, this is not convenient for me ( I work full time and have a newborn baby) to keep trying to contact Apple or run around to their service centres ( at least a 2 hour round trip for me) even if they could schedule me in.
Furthermore, yesterday in the middle of a presentation my VGA-Lightning adapter stopped working.
Firstly, why am I experiencing so many hardware failures? Is this normal? ( the fully booked service centres in Hong Kong suggest YES)
Is there a more convenient way to get these 2 items fixed? Courier, no questions asked replacements? ( Apple resellers dont want anything to do with broken stuff)
Finally, how long is this stuff going to take to fix? What extra problems can I expect?

If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.
If all of the above fails to help, don't forget that you have a one-year warranty.

NEW iPad 3G Not Working well in Singapore

I tested the 3G on my new iPad against iPhone 4 - The 3G is just NOT working on iPad.
I tested in more than 10 locations - home, work place and others. In many areas, the 3G is working well on iPhone 4, whereas it is non-existance or slow like a snail on the new iPad.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Iphone 6 plus camera not focusing

I do not use my camera a whole lot, but I started noticing two weeks ago I opened up my camera app and was wanting to take a picture of something at the store, so I could send it to a friend. I held the phone still as I was trying to take a picture. I had to literally get right up to it for the phone to focus. Before, I never had a problem like this. I could be a couple feet away and tap on the screen for it to focus. I have read other articles on what Apple says to do and I have done that. I have a Tech21 case on on my phone. There is plenty of room on the back that the case does not interfere with the camera. I took the case off just to see if there was a difference and there isn't. I have Applecare so I have scheduled a genius bar appointment later today. Just thought I could see if anyone else might have been having the same problem I am having now and might have a solution. It is rather odd that an update could affect the camera.

So.. went to Apple and it is my camera. Getting it fixed right now.

Ipad camera neves focus

Since I updated my ipad 4 to ios 7 my camera focus stoped to work, and all my fotos are blur.
Searching the web there are a lot of people with the same problem, so this should be a software problem related with ios7.
I've already restored my ipad and tried all resets, but nothing seems to fix the camera focus.
There is any ios update to fix this ? I've ios 7.1.1 the last.

I think that you are talking about auto focus.AutoFocus is enabled in very ipad with camera . Try touching the screen in order to focus at the specific item. If it works then it means that there would me some bugs in that update Azores if that doesn't work then there would be some hardware problem.
