IPad cannot download from App Store after purchase iPhone

I have problem download app from App Store but no problem searching for App after buying iPhone. Anybody know what the problem? Is it same account cannot download on two device?

    I bought Motion 5 last year and had it installed on my Macbook Pro and iMac. My Pro was recently stolen and I'm replacing it with a Macbook Air. But for some reason, of all the software I've bought on the App Store, Motion 5 is not showing up as a purchase. I know with certainty I bought it because I just updated it on my iMac. Help please.

    I had to think for a minute... I have seen this happen with updates and re-downloads, if I have my clone backup mounted.  Make sure your other computers (and backups) are turned off. When you go to the App Store it might be seeing that you have already downloaded it because it see it on your other Macs.

  • My iPhone 4s cannot download from app store

    For a couple days now my iPhone 4s cannot download anything from the app store. I cannot download new apps or updates. It does not give me an error message or anything. It just shows the icon on my iPhone screen and it says waiting right underneath it; I've let it go on for a day and it never resolved anything. It was working fine before and now it doesn't. I have not changed any settings and I know my account is fine because my wife's iPhone is also setup to use my iCloud account and it works without problems. I donnot want to reset my iPhone as it is currently set up just the way I need it; both peronal and work stuff. It would be a pain in the rear if I had to reset everything. Any ideas?

    Update to my post.
    I called customer Apple support and now my phone works without a problem.
    Here's what I had to do:
    Try resetting network connections. If that does not work go to next step below.
    Connect your iPhone to your computer
    Open iTunes (probably opens automatically)Back up your iPhone to your computer
    Restore iPhone to factory settings (this is what I did. you can skip this step if you're feeling lucky and go straight to the next step). Try to download from app store, if it works, your set; go to next step.Try right clicking on your iPhone an the left menu (iTunes) if you don't see the right options on your screen
    Restore iPhone from previous file (iTunes)
    My iPhone did not restore my downloaded apps, no worries, just go to bought apps on the app store/iTunes and download apps into iTunes. After that, just sync your iPhone to iTunes and your apps should be there.
    I hope that helps, that's what I had to do. I was able to reset my iPhone and all my settings to the way it was before restoring. I did not loose anything but it took about 2 hours.

    First, I have to clarify this is just my solution for the problem I encoutered. It may not work for you, but I think it's nice to post here for whoever needs it some day.
    I live in Sydney, using TPG as my home network provider. In order to use iMessage on my iPad, I followed the solution on this community to change to DNS to 8.8.8.8. And it works, which I thinks it's really odd and Apple never gives any explaination.
    But after I changed the DNS, downloading from the app store became really slow. My iPhone 4S can download the same app with the same network about 4 times faster than my iPad does. Initially, I thought this problem is caused by jail breaking. So I jailbroken my iPhone 4S as well (haha, this is what I learned from Apple-Think different), but the problem still. Turns out this problem is caused by the 8.8.8.8 DNS. so I changed the DNS back to my router domain, in my case 10.1.1.1 (for some people it may be 168.1.1.1), it become fast again. So you may try this way when you have the same slow download problem after change your dns to 8.8.8.8.
    I don't know why this works. I don't know why iPad needs to change the dns to use iMessage in Australia. And I don't know why download from app store become slow after the change. If you know the reason, please be kindly to tell me, I'd love to hear about it. Now I have to change my DNS back and forth to download apps quickly and use iMessage, if you have better solution for this issue, please be kindly to let me know as well. Good day mate.

    Thanks Sky, that's not really an answer tho, it worked fine before the update. .  Not only that, my new version of music player tells me iTunes Radio isn't available, and freezes when even trying to play mp3 files.. And links from mail to Safari don't work either. My ipad is quickly becoming a high priced frisbee. . .

    every time i browse my app store and choose an app, when i touch DOWNLOAD, the app store closes down and nothing happens, it takes me to the springboard.
    I was able to sync all my apps on itunes and everything after upgrading but im not able to download apps directly on my ipod touch 3g 64gb.

  • IPad 3 apps vanished and cannot download from App Store

    At least 3 apps (uTube, RTE Player & Netflix) on my iPad 3 (IOS 6.1.3) have vanished from screen and cannot be downloaded from the App Store.
    When I serach and try to download them again the FREE button is not selectable. Is this an IOS or issue with some apps? What is the remedy? Will a the next IOS release correct this? Is there a short term fix I can use?

    Hi all,
    I am having problems downloading apps onto my iphone 3g, ever since I changed the battery, insofar I get this msg:
    "Cannot connect to the store - a secure connection could not be established. Please check your date and time settings"
    Internet works fine, as does all apps previously downloaded. Checked the date / time settings and nothing seems to be wrong here. Just at a lost to what happened, have I inadventedly tripped something when swapping over the battery?

    Everytime I try and download a free app I keep getting asked for billing information. Only apps I have ever gotten is Dexter 2 the game. I got it for me and my wife and I check the bank before I did.. So why is this comming up when I go to get a FREE APP!!!

    cannot connect to app store after installing mountain lion it says there is no network connection when there clearly is i am on the internet now and i had this problem with the bootcamp server i read that in another forum and the answer to remove the auto proxy setting was correct but not for this situation because it is allready unchecked i checked it and tried again still no connection please help .... oh and apple you are beginging to be more like windows/microsoft with all the problems

    After doing a reinstall of Lion a few weeks ago, I found that my computer suddenly would reject every VeriSign certificate that it encountered. Using Chrome, that meant that I couldn’t even access Twitter.com, because it thought that the certificate was wrong. I couldn’t login to the Apple developer portal, I couldn’t authenticate a device with XCode, I couldn’t make a purchase at Apple.com, I couldn’t download updates from the Mac App Store, and I couldn’t login to Mint.com, among other sites. I essentially couldn’t do anything that used a VeriSign certificate for SSL.
    What did I do? I called my trusty AppleCare advisor, hoping for an answer. I thought that maybe they could help me figure it out. After getting to senior support, I was told to reinstall Lion, which I did to no avail. My case was then forwarded to the Apple engineering team, with 3 to 5 days to wait until I had an answer. I looked around, through my console logs and through Keychain access, and finally came up with an answer, and a solution to my problems.
    It turned out that my solution was pretty simple. I had to delete a few files and reset one to its default setting.
    Delete the files /var/db/crls/crlcache.db and /var/db/crls/ocspcache.db. These can be found using Finder’s Go >; Go To Folder menu (Cmd + Shift + G). This resets the cache of accepted certificates in the system. It doesn’t remove them, it just forces the system to rebuild the caches upon restart.
    Open Keychain Access (/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access). Select Certificates in the Category picker on the left side. In the search bar, type in the word Class. Look through that list, and find any certificates that have a blue + symbol over their icon. These are the ones you need to modify.
    Select one that has a blue +, and hit Command + I. Click the disclosure triangle beside the “Trust” list to show the list of permissions. Now, what we need to do is to set this certificate to use the system defaults. However, for some reason, when you select it, it doesn’t save. So what you need to do is this. Under “Trust”, where it says “Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)”, change the dropdown menu to say “No Value Specified”. Then, close the window. It will ask for your administrator permissions. Then, open the info pane for that certificate again. Under “Trust” again, now set the dropdown that says “When using this certificate:” to say “Use System Defaults”. You can then close out of the info pane, and enter your password again. Do this for any of the certificates that have a blue + on their icon. There should only be one or two at most.
    Restart your system.
    This solution seemed to work just fine for me. All of my certificate problems have been fixed. It must be something with the OSX installer that causes this certificate issue. I’ll file a bug report. Hopefully someone looks into it and fixes the flaw in the OS. And, I hope that this fixed the flaw for you.
    Addendum – a note on security:
    This procedure won’t affect the security of your Mac. I’ve had some questions come in about that, and if anything, it makes it more secure because then sites that require SSL certificates can actually use them, unlike before where they might default to non secure connections because the certificate was bad.

    You need to download it on one of the iMacs via App store but not install since after it installs the installation download gets deleted.
    After it is downloaded you can copy to a USB device. You can also make a bootable USB install device by:
    downloading and using DiskMaker X

    Thanks very much for the advice. I trawled through the other answers on the site and it appears others had the same issue. I doubled the available space and the install went like clockwork... which is what one would norma;ly expect from Apple :-)
    Maybe Apple should have a ' definitely read me first' notice before a download takes place with CLEAR instructions to have more than the 6GB they indicate ofr the Mountain Lion download

    Today, I went to the mac store and asked the staff about above issue. Apple obviously sent me a mac air which was manufactured before October 2013 and therefore, iworks and OX Mavericks weren't installed. I have refund for around £45 to purchase iworks. However, I wasn't happy with what Apple actually did. I asked for replacement and refund the one I got and getting the new one from store so I can use mac straight away. however, the refund takes 5-7 working days. The staff on the phone told me if I have enough money I can just buy the new one in the store and get refund later. So I gave up! I was so disappointed with Apple. Even though I use the mac now, this was not the one Apple promised when I purchased online. if anyone would like to buy a mac, Please go to the actual store. DO NOT buy a mac through MAC ONLINE STORE!!! I strongly recommend! I feel like I wasted my time because the company doesn't keep its promise.
