Ipad compatible with SoundLink Bluetooth speaker III

I have an IPad model MD510LL/A with operating system 8.1.3.  Is it compatible with SoundLink® Bluetooth® speaker III?

It should be it the iHome supports the bluetooth profiles that the iPod supports. See:
iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles
Try resetting the iHome if it was previusly paired to another device.

  • My iPad quit recognizing my bluetooth speaker but my iPhone has no problems

My iPad was working fine with my bluetooth speaker in December then in January it no longer can find the speaker. I have updated (8.1.3) and checked to make certain the bluetooth is turned on. My iPhone 5 has no problem finding the speaker.

Make sure that you have placed the speaker into "Discovery Mode" for your iPad to see it.

  • The Bluetooth low energy protocol is not backward compatible with classic Bluetooth protocol. My iPhone 4s can not find my sonny in-dash player. However my iPhone 3GS does it. Very disappointed with this. Any idea how it can be fixed???

    Hello,
You are correct, Blue tooth low engergy, BTLE.(only) devices are not backward compatible with Classic bluetooth and cannot connect.
However the Apple 4S and above have Bluetooth 4.0 support.. Hardware wise it has bothClassic Bluetooth, like the 3GS, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy.  There is no good reason why your 4s cannot communicate to your Sony in-dash player using the Classic bluetooth that resides in the 4S.
I know that this does not answer the why it does not work, but it should work. Do you have to somehow re-pair the new phone up to the player?  Not  knowing the model of the Sony it is hard to investigate.
And I hate to ask but are you sure that the Bluetooth radio is on in the phone?

  • IMac G5 running OS 10.4.11. Started playing with a bluetooth speaker (may or may not be related). Now I cannot get past the blue screen on startup. I can get into safe mode. Tried install disc for disc utility and reloaded OS. Still get blue screen.

I have an older iMac G5 running OS 10.4.11. The other day I started playing with a bluetooth speaker (may or may not be related). Now I cannot get past the blue screen on startup.
I can get into safe mode. But no regular startup.
I tried disabling bluetooth, thinking that might be related. It didn't help.
I even tried using the install disc to run disc utility. That didn't work so I reloaded the OS.
But I still get hung on the blue screen when trying a normal startup.
    All help would be appreciated.

Try resetting the PMU/SMU and PRAM/NVRAM. You'd need to identify the mode of resetting depending on the model of your G5 iMac. The Apple support sites that would help you for this are –

  • Is iPad compatible with adapter from iPhone or just the one it came with?

Is the ipad compatible with the little power adapter that came with the iphone or should it just be used with the one that it came with the ipad. WIll other adapters do the battery damage? thanks

You can charge the iPad with the iPhone's power adapter, but charging will take longer than when using the power adapter that shipped with the iPad. You can also charge the iPhone with the iPad's power adaptor.
    Copied from this link.
    http://www.apple.com/batteries/ipad.html
The quickest way to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. *iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) _or with an iPhone Power Adapter_.* When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge, but only when it's in sleep mode. Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.

  • Is the iPad compatible with the Pioneer Appradio?

Hi, I've got some questions about using the Appradio system combined with the iPad. Do you know if I can use the Appradio with an iPad, although it isn't officially supported? Could I buy an external GPS (bluetooth) antenna to use them for navigation purposes? (both don't have one) Is it better to change my new iPad for an iPhone? I don't want to. At least, can I use the iPad as a simple iPod, without the apps? Thank you. I've got these items new, so if I try them, I can't give them back.
Moreover, I found the app in the store, it's iPad-compatible but it appears only in the search results for the iPhone. I don't even know if I could get it...

I'm going to change the iPad 2 (3G) for the 3rd gen. one and I want to choose the right model. I like the 32GB wi-fi one because I can get the amazing Retina display and enough space for my music with a few coins. I'm going to use the Appradio mainly for music, but if I want to use the navigator I've got to upgrade the iPad with an antenna, which would be better than keeping it on the dash. I can bypass the connection through my phone, this would be quite comfortable too. I'm a student and I haven't got so much money; for the same amount of the upgrade, I could think to buy an old iPhone to replace the iPad when I need the navigator.

  • HT4081 is original ipad compatible with ios6?

Is the original ipad 1 compatible with ios6? or only supported up to ios5? I cannot restore current ipad 3 content to an old ipad.

    Only with IOS 5.1.1
You can't restore to old iPad because it does not support IOS 6.1.3

  • Flash sound stops working after I pair my Macbook Pro with a Bluetooth speaker.  What's going on?

I have a 2012 17 inch MBP, and regularly pair it with a Jambox bluetooth speaker for music.  After pairing it, sound frequently stops working in Flash - Youtube videos and the like.  Only restarting seems to do the trick.  What's disabling the sound, and is there a way to re-enable it without the hassle of restarting?

After removing adware, and do a safe boot of Safari and remove extensions, then reset cache history etc. You need to do a boot into Recovery Mode and run Disk Repair from there. Also boot the system in Safe Mode.
On startup it sounds like you have a problem with the directory which would also account for long startups and checking the directory. Along with or instead of DU Repair Disk you can use Single User Mode and fsck -fy to try to fix the directory but in some cases that may not be enough.
Backups from before you got this adware and problems helps and should always be ready and able to restore a system from known good backups or system restore image.
4GB of RAM may have been fine originally but "Early 2011" is now 5 years and 4 OS version changes. You can upgrade the memory and while at it consider a nice SSD internal drive which will help as well. Take a look and see what prices and options there are from http://www.macsales.com for your 2011 MacBook Pro.

Just bought an iPad, and cannot synch w/ my itunes on my PowerPC 10.4.11. Understand I need to upgrade to 10.5 so it is compatible with the iPad, but not sure where to find a software upgrade, or if this is even possible?
Don't want to bring back the iPad, or have to buy a new computer...anyone have any suggestions?
    Much thanks.
