Ipad crashes wifi with any mapping app

I have the same problem both in the iPad and the New iPad. When at home, using the iPad, if I try to go to any app that uses maps (google maps, homes.com, etc) for me to select a house for sale, or a Radio Station, or an address, etc, then the wifi crashes, and the only way to fix this is to go to the router and do a reset (off/on).
My router is provided by TIM, Alice, in Italy. This affects the wifi network, meaning all theother devices connected to the wifi also loose the connections.
anybody has an idea?

Have you tried to delete files individually? Not a big one but a small one that it may be able to handle. Just try it one at a time until you get under your capacity limit.

Are you talking about placing Google map in Mobile page created in Muse ? If yes you can do this by either using "Google Map Widget" or by placing " Embedded code" created at any map site.

Turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

Question about the IPad 2 wifi with 3G

I am thinking about to buy the iPad 2 wifi with 3G but I wondering if I could buy it without contract ( no sim card and any data plan ) so that I don't need to pay additional cost everymonth since I already have an iPhone with data plan. I just need to buy a 3G version to use when I travel between country. Are there possible to buy it in Apple web site and only get it with out contract an data plan like iPhone?

It might depend on what country you are in and therefore buying it. They are not locked in the USA (though the Verizon models are effectively locked as they are CDMA based, not GSM/sim based), nor here in the UK. They can be bought and used without signing up to a contract or even activating 3G on them.

To sync your iPad over Wifi:
First ensure you're running iTunes 11.0.2. And you already have your iPad up to date, good.
Plug your iPad into the Mac via USB. Click your iPad in the top toolbar (under the search bar). Click the Summary tab if it isn't already selected. Check the box to "Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi" (you may have to scroll down to see it). And now click the Apply button at the bottom right.
You should be able to unplug your iPad from the Mac and it should still remain in iTunes. (If not, try Quitting and relaunching iTunes and waiting, restarting iPad, etc).
To initiate a sync over Wifi, click your iPad in the toolbar in iTunes then click Sync. Or on your iPad, go to Settings > General > iTunes Wifi Sync and tap "Sync Now."
If this didn't solve your problem, please let me know with a more detailed explanation of what you're experiencing so I can try to help you get up and syncing wirelessly!

Why does iPad crash when I open Mail app?

My iPad crashes (returns to home screen) each time I open the Mail app. Mail opens for just two seconds, then crashes.
All updates are current on Mac and iPad. I have synced the iPad with my Mac and power-cycled the iPad but nothing helps.
Can I delete and reload just the Mail app? If so, how is that done?
Or do I need connect the iPad to my Mac and do a full Restore of my iPad?
Any suggestions?

I have reinstalled my email account twice I got my iPad three weeks ago then and today the problem has risen again.
It may be a solution here and now but I don't find it reasonable that we have to delete and reenter our account info every time we need to use our mail app.
Already from the start there were problems; the mail app froze and I had to restart my iPad...2-3 times during the first couple of days. Normally I am a type who takes this rather casual but I do not think Apple wants us to reinstall our mail account every couple of days, huh? ;o)

Ipad will not open any downloaded apps

My ipad will not open any apps that I downloaded. How do I fix this?

If they are crashing - try downloading another app - any free app is fine.
If they will not open at all when you tap on the icons - try restarting or resetting the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Crash E90 with Ovi Maps 3

I have updated Nokia Maps 2 to the latest version of OVI Map 3 incl. maps, my firmware is the latest too. I can navigate and using it perfectly, but my phn crash immediatelly when selecting "Search/Address". Is there a help or workaround?

If you have installed an update of Nokia Maps and updated the firmware software of your mobile device (“firmware reflash”) afterwards, a former version of Nokia Maps has been re-installed on your mobile device together with the firmware software. As this former Nokia Maps version might not be compatible with the map data of the newer version you used beforehand, the application may crash. To avoid this, simply re-install the latest version of Nokia Maps on your mobile device. This will correct the problem of your application crashing.

IPad Crashing Constantly With Safari

I'm new to this forum, but I have looked around to see if there was a solution to this issue, so far found nothing.
Basically when I'm in Safari my screen will all of the sudden start jumping around. It will zoom in and out, move left to right, up and down, all on its own. I can't click/touch on anything as its now unresponsive. When I exit it out I can no longer use any other app. All the icons are now non-responsive to touch. It won't let me shut down normally either as I have to do the home/power button reset to get it off and back on.
I've tried clearing my cookies, history, cache, yet same thing. I've noticed it happening when searching in Google, and when checking my football and hockey pools. Sometimes it doesn't do it at all but today its been almost every few minutes. Its not jailbroken, and i've done all the updates. It only started happening a few days ago and there's been no changes at all to the device.
Any help at all?

Will the latest iPad mini (with OS7) sync with any iTunes version and any MacOS? My old iPod syncs with iTunes 10 (10.6.3) on a MacG5 with 10.5.8 operating system. I'd like to sync the iPad Mini with this Mac, but I have my doubts since the computer is so old.

iOS 7 requires iTunes Version 11
OS X 10.6.8 = Snow Leopard... is the minimum OS X for iTunes 11

Problem with Default Map App?

So, I'm a big fan of this app, as it tells me when I need to leave to catch a bus (At least in theory, since it obviously can't take into account bus delays), but lately it's seemed to be getting my location wrong, or missing bus stops. It's been telling me to walk quite far to reach a stop when I'm standing next to one.
Is anyone else having this issue..?

The iPhone 3G includes a GPS receiver and has A-GPS or assisted GPS. The GPS acquisition is assisted by cell tower location services, and maps data is downloaded to the iPhone via internet access only - via an available wi-fi network or internet access via the cellular network. If you are in a location without cellular reception and without access to an available wi-fi network but have GPS reception, you would have a little blue dot on the Maps app indicating your position, but it wouldn't do you much good without being able to download maps data via the internet.
Where were you in NY state? If there is significant cloud or tree cover, GPS reception can be limited or blocked. The same when around buildings and while inside certain building depending on the building structure.

How do you get the compass to work with the maps app?

When I am in my maps app it does not face me in the direction I am going? Its just the little blue indicator showing where I am? please advise!
