IPad crashing frequently

Ever since the iOS 5.0 upgrade, my iPad crashes frequently and is not with any specific application. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have done multiple reset and restores as new and none of this has worked.
I sent crash reports from Docuements and Settings\User\Apple Computer\Logs\Crash Reporter\Mobile Devices\My iPad to Apple twice now and have not heard back.
My iPad crashes 10+ times per day with the Low Memory error while Mobile Safari is running. Safari doesn't seem to like web pages with lots of images.
I just can not believe that the problem we are the only one expreriencing this problem. Crashes back to the home page is just a Whoops to the casual user, but if you rely on the iPad this is a big dea.

If you're using an original iPad with iOS 5.1.1, you should reboot it when it starts behaving this way.
To reboot your iPad, hold down the Power/Lock button until the slider appears, then swipe the slider to shut it down. Wait 5 seconds after the screen turns off, then hold the Power/Lock button down until the Apple logo appears to turn it back on.

No, it is not normal to crash frequently. It would probably be best to restore it.
You would do that by plugging it into iTunes on your computer (using current iTunes, which is version 11.0.1). Then after syncing, click the "Restore" button on the right.

Recently at the Apple Store in Vancouver an Apple staff reset my computer (erased everything and sent to iCloud to reset the iPad) and I hoped this would fix the problem. IPad Safari still crashes. Short of booking an appointment for taking it for repair to Apple technicians which will cost me money can anyone help me to fix this Safari crashing.

You might have a 3rd party plugin that isn't compatible with Safari 4.0.4. Go here for help...

If you are using a USB hub, try disconnecting and restarting with just your keyboard and mouse connected.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...

Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that helps.
You may need to restore your iPad. That's where you back it up, then restore it to factory defaults, then put your backup back on so you don't lose any data. Sometimes a fresh start clears out any glitches and can help.

What version of the iBooks app is on your iPad? To check , tap Settings > General > Usage > iBooks.
If you don't have version 2.1.1, try updating iBooks.

Original iPad, WSJ app crashes frequently and is extremely slow compared to my other news apps. I am on latest iPad and wsj versions.

You should contact the WSJ developer or their forum for help since other apps do not have any issues.

I have a first generation (64Gb) WiFi running version 10,and have IOS5,Im only using about 30% of memory at most.But when I browse the iTunes Store on my iPad,it crashs frequently and returns me to the home screen.I have tried restarting,resetting,updating,restoring it to only the factory installed Apps and testing to see if one or more of my downloaded Apps could be causing the crash.Nothing seems to fix it.The error log shows that the iTunes Store is overloading the processor ,even when nothing extra has been loaded onto the iPad.It seems odd to me that a basic iPad utility should cause it to overload the processor.Support has acted mystified as to why it is doing this,and exiled me to the customer self help forums.I have run across bits and pieces that several other customers are suffering from this same problem.The general rumor that I've heard is that iTunes Store has become so "Bloated" from its own new and improved updates that it's putting more demand on the IPad processors than they are designed for.Is this a hopeless or unfixable problem?I have started using downloaded Apps like Apple Sliced without having the crash problem,but their search engines are not quite as good as the iTunes App Store browser.IF only It wasn't so unstable !!! Logic 9.1.8 & Mainstage 2 - crashing frequently/audio issues

I have just uprgraded to this set up (though using the same sound card as I did on my Mac Book with Logic 8 & Snow Leopard prevously) - in order to avoid overloading which was happening on my previousl set up.. only to find that this new system seems very buggy - crashes frequently on Logic (Sudden Motion Sensor error - have disabled that now) and Main Stage freezes. Then a wierd echoey sound can happen - whereby any audio is echoed back from DAW, in Logic AND Mainstage.
I have down loaded two plug-ins/VST's since starting to use this new set up - an XILS Lab L.E. verision and a Crystal synth. I've downloaded the up to date Duet drivers from Apogee. (I have an Duet 1.5 that I used with my old set).
Have looked at the Console system log to try and understand what might be happening - it is FULL of text on occasions when Logic crashes - I am not tech savvy enough to unpick it though.
If anyone has any suggestions to help I would be grateful, thanks.

MacBook Pro 8, 2 Crashes Frequently

I've a MacBook Pro 8,2 Early 2011 (15", 2.3 GHz i7, 16GB RAM). Since last month, my system started to crash frequently, from once a day to few (3-4) times a day. The crashes happened at random times - as I'm replying emails with Mail, browsing with Safari, opening files from Finder, editing a Word doc or Powerpoint ppt, etc. Each time the machine crashes, it simply reboots and goes straight to login. There is no specific pattern or steps that I observed to replicate this. Originally, the crashes happened on OS X Mountion Lion. I've upgraded to OS X Mavericks hoping that this will be fixed, however my system still crashes frequently even after upgraded to OS X Mavericks. The App Store confirms that there are no further updates for my system.
Any ideas on how to fix this, or at least how to go about pinpointing the problem? In case it helps, my latest error report is below.

I have always found spell check to be "buggy" in every version of all of the iOS's that I have run on my original model iPad and my new iPad - especially when replying and typing posts in these forums. It works perfectly in every other application on my iPad but it has never worked perfectly in any web browser that I have used on my iPad - no matter what I have done to try to correct it. That is what MY experience has been with spell check on my iPads.
As for the crashes on your iPad try these basic troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit all apps and restart. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
