Ipad display issue - replaced still not working
I replaced a LCD display on iPad 1 thinking it was bad. Turned this unit on and it is still not working. Tried the display on another iPad and it works fine so I know it is not the LCD. The ipad in questions is recognized in iTunes. Backlight doesn't come one
There is obviously a hardware problem and doubtful if anyone here will know what that is.

G62-355dx cpu replaced still not working
My g62-355dx is still not working after replacing the cpu (thats what the blink code was....caps lock blinking once every few seconds) so after replacing the cpu I am still getting the same blink code....tried the hard reset before replacing the cpu but havent tried it after....I just need to know if its possibly the mother board and if a motherboard from a different g62 model will work in my 355dx....

View Solution.This is about the third post of its type I have fielded in the last month or so and I will repeat what I have always maintained. It is almost never the CPU, regardless of the blink code. It is almost always the motherboard. Your by far safest bet is to replace like with like although likely another g62-300 series motherboard will work, if it has any feature yours did not or vice versa it may take some case mods to make it fit and you want to avoid that.

Image display reference control still not working
Has anyone looked at the Image Display referece control bug? I still can't pass an image display reference to a sub VI since the front panel control in the subVI generates this error:
"The control requires an external library for its operation. This library is not installed, is not installed to the correct location, or is not loadable, or the library's version is not high enough."
I know there's some cludgy ways around it (passing panel reference, demoting reference class to 'control' and back), but it seems like such a simple thing to fix that would already have been fixed unless no one's working on it.

Unfortunately, this bug (CAR# 3R1F8KRJ) has not been fixed in LabVIEW 8.5. The attached VIs, however, do provide a workaround. The main VI contains an Image control. The sub VI has a Generic Control Reference Input to which the Image Control Reference is wired. In the sub VI, a "to more specific class" function is used to get the full properties list for an Imagecontrol.
Please note that, according to R&D, this workaround is ineffective when built into an executable.

Whenever I turn my airplay display on and set it to "extend desktop," my secondary display (TV) continues mirroring my mac book pro (hereinafter MBP). It doesn't fully mirror my MBP, but my secondary display registers every time I switch between my desktop 1 and my full screen apps. Moreover, When I do switch to a fullscreen app on my MBP, I get a blank (blue-ish) screen on my TV.
Any solutions!?!
Additionally, "extended desktop" for my Airplay display worked properly when Mavericks was first released.Try this:
Click on the Apple TV Icon on the top toolbar
Then, select "Mirror Built in Display" instead of extend desktop
In the same menu under "Match Desktop size to:" select "Apple TV" (or keep it on "built in display if that works"

my ipad mini is not syncing music onto in, my ipad has been replaced to see whether the issue is to do with the ipad but its still not working.

After successfully installing the iTunes upgrade to 10.6.1, Now I cannot open and access itunes. I have tried a complete uninstall and reinstall and it is still not working. I have looked through many support communities for answers. I added an iPad 2 almost a year ago and all was fine until my upgrade to the "cloud services" and upgrade to new version. I have been without iTunes on my PC for a month. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
I too have only recently encountered this problem. I have been able to burn disks before but it keeps making all these weird sounds. It might be a hardware problem but the fact that everything else that uses a disk works I doubt it.

Trackpad Still not working right after replacement
I've recently been having issues with my trackpad on my Macbook Pro, i took it to the apple store last week and they replaced it due to it not registering physical clicks what so ever. However, although a new trackpad was issued/replaced and the problem is slightly better, the trackpad is still not working/registering physical clicks in several areas, anyone got any tips? I also can't really afford to go back to the store again at the moment, however i do have Apple Care which may open more windows for me?

when using apple tv with my ipad, the mirroring function does not work, screen goes black, what is the issue? My son's Ipad(same as kind as mine) works ok with the apple tv but mine does not. Any suggestions?

While written for the iPhone, the troubleshooting below can help resolve issues with your iPad's camera, as well.
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

My IPad 2 external speaker does not work and the original headphones have popping sound when used. This all occurred at the same time as my IPhone and IPod headphones only plays mono (and no, the "mono" option is not on) with the original headphones, as well as, other headphones tested. How can there be audio issue for all these devices at the same time?
As you may have noted from the list of Apple devices I own, I believed in the Apple and the products it was producing; but it is hard to believe from my experience and the other voices within the Apple Community that we are all experiencing the same hardware issues. Especially since I recently, I upgraded to an IPhone 4g (no, my faith in IPhone 5 series is very little) and is experiencing the same audio problem as described above. So now, I am off to the Apple store again to be told that it’s a hardware problem on new IPhone. Really? Apple, what happen to the pride in the product you were producing?Everyone does things a little differently. I love to "jam " along with iTunes ( or old Lp's) . Always have. That's where/how I've learned to play .
I'm sure leonieDF is giving a proper way to jam along on a keyboard with an iTune. He blows my mind all the time with what he knows. Nuff respects to him !
What I do is make a GB project I call "Jam With". I'll make several new tracks that are blank. Just has a few instruments named in the blank tracks. You can change those per song ...
Because I'm not concerned about changing the pitch / key.... of the iTune or the tempo ... I can simply play along with it.

My brand new iPad mini won't rotate done factory reset still not working. If I lock and unlock on landscape or portrait it remains in that mode. Reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Your iPad will reboot on its own. You will have to enter all of the device settings again, but no data will be lost.
I eould not spend a whole lot more time trying to fix this, if the device is really brand new. I would take it back to where you bought it, bring the box, the charger, the cable and your receipt and if they can't get it fixed, return it and get another one. -

Try this. Go to Settings>FaceTime >Off. Reset the iPad and then go back and turn FaceTime on again. See if that fixes it for you.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Ignore the red slider bar if it appears. -

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.
