IPad does not display anything !! (white screen)

Hey,
I have a strange problem with my iPad(16GB WiFi). It turns on but the screen turns white (nothing display… Not even Apple logo)!!
It responds to my interaction … For instance, I can slide to unlock it (of course, I cannot see it but I know where it is located)
I try to restore it through iTunes, it did but it does not fix the problem !!
In other words, everything is working but you cannot see anything on the screen.
Please help !!??

Searching broadly through discussion areas, such as Safari, iPhone, Mac, etc. getting a white screen is common. Apparently this can happen while logged into sites such as Google. Apple seems not to know or care about this issue, since no one from Apple answers any of these messages.
I managed to bring back Safari from the dead by going to iPad Settings for Safari and cleaning out Cache, Cookies, History. Don't know why this helped.
Am wondering what would happen if I downloaded Firefox to my iPad and started using it instead. Firefox has worked wonderfully on my other machines - Mac Pro at work, Windows 7 at home.

That alert codes does suggest there is a USB related issue. If you haven’t already, try the troubleshooting suggestions in the article linked below.

Safari on iPad does not display GIF image anymore after upgrade to iOS 4.3

1) Could anybody (especially those in Apple iOS or Safari teams) advise me why the Safari on my iPad cannot display some images (probably in GIF formats) on some webpages anymore, after I upgrade my iPad to iOS 4.3? These images on the webpages can be properly displayed on when my IPad runs with iOS 4.2.1. There should be no problem with these embedded image files because they can still be properly display in Safari running on my Macbook air.

I am having the same issue with two different ipads (one Wifi and one Wifi-3g) running on our home network (Verizon FIOS). The website in question is www.tvwc.com and the main logo in the upper left corner, a .gif, does not display, only a "?". Other images on the site, in .jpg format, display correctly.
I was running 4.2.1 and am now just upgrading to 4.3.

Ipad does not display charging after ios 6 upgrade plugged in

After upgrading to iOS 6 OTA my iPad does not appear to be charging when plugged in using the default charging cable plugged into the AC outlet. The battery icon has a lightning bolt through it as if it is not plugged in.
I did a reset and this did not solve it.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

Macbook pro does not display anything

Model is Macbook Pro 15" Mid 2009 Unibody
Mountain Lion
Modifications:
CD drive replaced with additional 500 GB Hard Drive
One of the 2 GB RAM chips replaced with a 4 GB chip
Earlier today I was browsing the internet on my MBP and suddenly the laptop froze, the screen froze, the mouse and keyboard were not responding at all, which eventually led me to have to force shut it down (by holding the power button). When I tried to turn the laptop back on it started up (as in I could hear the fan and the white light came on) but there was no display and then 4-5 seconds after it turned off and then started up again by itself and stayed on, still no display on the screen at all, its off and the keyboard doesn't seem to be responding either which I figured by trying to press the caps lock button to see if the green light comes on in which it didn't.
I have tried pressing the Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Power button and then turning the laptop on but the same problem still persists. The laptop starts up, turns off and then starts up again and then stays on with nothing displayed on the screen and no response from the keyboard. The start up chime also doesn't occur. I am unable to start the laptop in Safe mode or any other mode that requires me to hold a button when powering up as the laptop turns off after 4-5 seconds and then starts up again. I have looked online to find anyone with a similar problem but can't seem to find any posts regarding this.
The laptop has not been dropped or anything, neither had it experienced any liquid damage. It has been running smoothly before the problem that occured earlier. I am in desperate need of my Macbook Pro and there doesn't seem to be any Genius Bar appointments available in the next 7 days in any Apple store near to me (Central London).
Any help or advise will greatly appreciated.

Make that genius bar appointment and wait those seven days. That is your best option to get it diagnosed properly (for Free).

New iPad does not display sent messages

i set up the mail, send mial happily. but when i go to sent mail folder, it displays sent e-mails form last year, and all the wya back to 2011, but not the ones i sent this week since getting the new iPad. anybody have any ideas?

The model number that you listed is a WiFi only iPad (original, not iPad 2) so it will not connect to 3G data as I think you already know.
Doesn't one have to have an AT&T account to connect to attwifi? If they do have an AT&T account and are trying to connect do they ever get to a logon screen (best way to bring it up is to try and access any site over the web, you'll get redirected to a sign-in page).
Other question is how strong is the signal, I have lots of issues with public WiFi being strong enough for my device to see it, but not strong enough to actually connect and do anything.

Captivate 7- The Closed Captioning does not display on the screen

I am using Captivate 7 and I am concerned about the issue that the Closed Captioning, which is placed on the flash page and is supposed to display the introduction of our product with the caption, does not show up on the screen. It is confusing that the text of Closed Captioning shows normally on some of the computers in our company but fails to display on the others, no matter on IE 8 or 10. Due to the company policy and the product nature I won’t be able to make a snapshot. We have spent some time on this problem but failed to fix it. I am desperately looking forward to some solutions here. Thanks for any suggestion.

Try clearing out your project cache (Preferences > General > Clear Cache) then republish using the option to Force Republish All Slides.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, you may be seeing the early stages of project file corruption. Check the suggestions in this post about troubleshooting issues where you may need to copy all slides to a new blank project shell to try and strip out corruption:

Solman_workcenter does not display anything

I am renting Solman 7.1 server and trying to access remotely from home through SAP GUI. When I type the Tcode SOLMAN_WORKCENTER , I get a blank page and after a while it gives out a message mentioned below
This program cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
                     You are not connected to the Internet.
u2022     The website is encountering problems.
u2022     There might be a typing error in the address.
What you can try:
     Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.
     Retype the address.
     Go back to the previous page.
My Internet connection is fine , I have high speed internet and my SMWORK user roles are Smwork_basic, Smwork_change_man,Smwork_incident_man, smwork- myhome, smwork_Service_dev.
Also I have tried to add the IP address of the Solution manager server under C:\windows\system32\Drives\etc\hosts   ....still it is not working ...not able to understand what is the problem. Please help.

You are accessing Solman 7.1 from home.
What software do you use to connect to the corporate network?
Since you are getting to a point you can enter a transaction code "solman_workcenter" you have some type of connection.
Can you resolve local Network names to IP address on your home PC?
ABAP transactions can run on a simple terminal connection, webdynpro applications like Workcenters can't.
To me it sounds like you doo not have the correct connection type. Even the error message you are getting is indicating for the protocol it is expecting, there does not seem to be a connection.

If you don't get this problem when you are logged on att he office, then, I would say your connection type is wrong.
WTS should work fine if the above is the instance.

I reset my MacBook and it does not do anything the screen stays gray

I reset my MacBook Pro it's two years old, when it came back on I signed in with my password then it didn't load up the dashboard, screen stayed gray like every single thing on it was gone or some thing

Reinstall:
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

Brand New SunFire V40z does not display anything

I have just put 2 brand new Sun FireV40z in my rack, pluged the power, screens, keyboards and mice cables.
I have configured the SP IPs, then logged to the web-based consoles to create the Initial Manager Accounts on both machines.
Now I want to set up the SCSI BIOS through the LSI logic configuration utility, but when I press the platform power button on the server front panel nothing is displayed on the screen - wheras the small LCD screen displays appropriate information, fans are starting and the machine activates the floppy disk drive/CD drive as expected when OS is booting.
I have already tried with an other Screen / Kyeboard / Mouse without sucess. I have also validated my Screen / Keyboard / Mouse on an other machine.
The problem is the same on both machines. Did I miss somthing or does this mean the machine has a hardware problem?

I have found a connectivity problem in one of the machine screens, which I have fixed - change the cable.
But the problem is still there in the second machine, I have contacted SUN support, they will come to check.

P45 neo3 FR 1.0 not displaying anything on screen

i have just purchased a new motherboard and compatible processor as below
P45 neo3 FR 1.0
Pentium core 2 duo (checked and made sure it is compatible)
400w power supply
4gb Ram
Plugged everything in correctly and when i come to switch it on, the drives spin up, all fans work but nothing is displayed on the screen. Any ideas what could be the problem?????

Please look at your PSU sticker and write down the amperage limits on each of the main voltage rails and its brand and model name.
What video card are you using?
How many hard drives do you have installed?

7970 LCD screen does not display anything

Hi everybody,
When I power up Cisco IP phone 7970,these button flashes in sequence:
headset, mute and speaker. Then line keys start flashing green in sequence. Then headset button start flashing green.After 15 seconds everything stops. Switch Catlyst Express 500 sees through CDP protocol IP phone 7970, but IP phone doesn't get IP address from DHCP server.When I try factory reset, after all line keys flashe yellow, I press 123456789*0#, line keys don't flashe red but green. And again after 15 seconds, everything dies. What is wrong with my phone?

I had a phone in a similar state, it was completely useless... I built a console cable for it, and could see it trying to TFTP a particular image from the server - this image wasn't on the server and I'm sure it never was... I suspect it must have been the original load or something.
Anyway - make a serial cable, and plug it in. Start up the phone, and see what the debug shows you - it's quite easily readable.
You should be able to see where it fails. To fix mine I had to put the software it was looking for on the TFTP server and it fixed itself - I had to get someone on this forum to supply me the software as I couldn't find it anywhere...
