ipad does not turn on. charged it all night. only displays apple logo. tried resetting it and connecting it to itunes but no luck. any other tips to get it turned back on?

While this could potentially be a hardwar issue:
Try a rest: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
If the reset doesn't work, you may need to consider restoring the iPad to factory settings

My Ipad 1 does not turn on at all. It will not react to any button, and does not sync with plugged into my computer. Ever heard that?

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. Happened to me once, about 6 months ago, and a reset got it working again.

I turned off my IPad and plugged in to recharge for the night. In the morning, the IPad will not turn on and I have tried multiple reboots holding the sleep/home button without success. I have plugged into a desktop to connect to Itunes and the IPad does not appear on the computer. Should I try anything else before heading to the Apple Store?

IPad does not turn off

This is very odd.
I need to use my iPad with Keynote and a projector. I have done this before by turning the iPad off (hold down the top button until the "Slide to turn off" appears but suddenly the darn thing does not turn off.
It LOOKS like it is turning off - I slide the red slider and get a spinning ball for a brief time, but if I plug in or just hit the bottom switch, bingo, it pops back on instantly.
My first thought was maybe I'm just not giving it enough time, but no, I gave it fifteen minutes and it still was not really off.
Now - I just tried it again and of course it worked, making a liar out of me
Has anyone else had this problem? Am I doing something wrong somehow?

I recently updated my ipad 2 to the iOS 7.3 update. I left it alone to update because I knew it would take some time. I set it up and then had to leave my ipad to take care of my baby. I came back and it wouldn't turn on. I figured it had run out of juice so I charged it all day today and it still won't turn on.

Brand New iPad does not turn on

I just got a brand new iPad 3d + WiFi 64GB and i just can't turn it on. These are all the things I had done:
1. Charged for 8 hours at least with the 10w charger. During the charging, the white apple logo just stay flashing on the ipad screen (about 5secs on and 10secs off).
2. Computer up to date; Itunes latest version ; did restarts (both mac and ipad), force reset, changed several cables and tried syncing with 2 other macs and one pc, still nothing happens when ipad is connected to the computer.
3. Without the charger, no sign of life for ipad.
Anyone has similar issues like me and how do you resolve it?

That stinks. Try this: hold down the home button and the power button at the same time for 15-20 seconds. If you don't eventually see an Apple logo - you have a bad unit and need to take it back from where you got it.

Hi, my iPad suddenly froze while downloading a free kid's game, the loudness/soft symbol just kept on appearing no button works even the slide off/cancel. Then it suddenly turned off. I searched for troubleshooting guide, I tried pressing power/home buttons as instructed, charged/uncharged, and connected through usb using itunes but to no avail. What have gone wrong? I bought this in Vietnam but am here in the Philippines and still under warranty. Could I bring this unit to a service center of apple here in the Philippines?

Did you hold the home/power buttons for ten to fifteen seconds until the apple appears?
If still bad, try a restore from within iTunes.
If still bad, take it to an apple vendor for them to test/reinitialize for you.

Is there a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If so, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock/unlock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. With iOS 7 on the iPad, you turn Private Browsing on and off by tapping the URL field. The screen that opens up has your bookmarks on it. In the bottom left corner is a hot button marked 'PRIVATE'. Tap on the word 'PRIVATE' to turn private browsing on or off. Yeah, there aren't any instructions anywhere that I can find to do this, and if you follow Yahoo's instructions, they don't work. This doesn't happen with the previous Apple OS, and you can restore your iPad to the older OS.
