  • Why does my mail doesn't receive all my messages?

I use my mail app (max OS X snow leopard) to check all my accounts (2 gmail, 1 hotmail & 2 private domains).
My private domain accounts don't receive all my messages, I can tell becasue in my domain settings all my mail is re-sent to another gmail account. There are many emails I can see in my "backup" gmail account that my mac mail doesn't receive.
I constantly have to check my gmail account to make sure there are no unattended messages that I haven't seen.

Are you referring to actual text (SMS) messages or iMessages? The fixes can be different.

  • Droid X2 not receiving all texts/ calls

I, along with my family have been a customer of Verizon for over 13 years now. In the past 4-5 months my Droid X2 has not been receiving all text messages and calls. There is no pattern that I have been able to track. I text people from across the nation so where I send from and/or to does not make a difference. This phone is a refurb because I used my insurance to replace the original to hopefully fi this same exact issue. I've done extensive research on how to fi this problem but have not come up with anything. The restarts, wipe cache, delete certain apps does not work. I do not want to be forced to become a customer of another company but I will do so if the issue can not be alleviated.

I understand how frustrating and inconvenient missing your calls and text messages can be and I'm here to help.
I also have the HTC Thunderbolt and have not had this problem. I've thoroughly researched this and did not find it has been reported as a known issue by other users.
You mentioned you updated your phone two weeks ago. Was it the Gingerbread SW update? If not, click here for instructions on how to update the SW.
If you already have Gingerbread I recommend performing a hard reset.
If you are still experiencing missed calls or text messages after the hard reset, please post back so I can further assist you.

  • Help! My ex boyfriend and I used to share apple ids. I have since created my own however my email is still linked to his I'd and he receives my text messages from an email address of mine on his ipad that I also receive on mine! How do I remove my email?

My ex boyfriend and I used to share apple ids. Since we are no longer together, I have created my own apple id and associated my email address for texting on my ipad. However, he still receives my text messages that go to my email address on HIS ipad! I don't have his apple id password so I cannot delete my email from his iTunes account, nor will he give it to me. I just don't want him to see my text messages! How do I delete it from his ipad?

Each of you need to have your own apple id's instead of sharing is the best way. But you can go to each phones settings, messages, send and recieve, and down to start new conversation from, and make sure each of you have your own email address with a check mark beside of it not the same address.

If she is receiving your messages - then you must have somehow setup the iPad to use your iPhone number or your email address on her new iPad. How you did that is beyond me unless you set up her new Mini for her and used your Apple ID on it.
On her iPad got to - Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at>uncheck your phone number or email address of that is what is being used for the contact number.

Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'iTunes' in the first column and then 'iTunes Store' in the second column. • Is there a way to print all text messages/sms from an iPhone4 3G? I need to go back about 2-3 years back, i also want to see the text messages, not only the tel. number and whether it was sent or received.

Is there a way to see/print ALL text messages exchanges from my previous phone (Blackberry Storm) to iPhone4 3G?  I want to be able to print ALL text messages from 2 lines on my account. Thank you.

If they are still stored on your phone, with the BB you may be able to print them; if not natively, you may be able to download an app that will do that.  Offhand, I'm not familiar with one, but google may help.  -The iPhone may have an app that will allow this as well.  Two to three YEARS?  That' s a lot of texting!!

  • Cannot Receive SMS Text Messages

I have a Blackberry 8800 on O2 network in UK. I can make and receive voice 'phone calls, send and receive emails and send SMS text mesages BUT cannot receive text messages. When I put my SIM card into another mobile the text messages come through okay. My SIM is not out of space while the "status" in Options/Security/Firewall is set to disabled so is not blocking messages. Any ideas?

I am/was experiencing the same kind of thing. I am in San Antonio, TX and this morning at school my friend (Sprint Customer) said that she had tried to Text me twice this morning. We then tested our phones and saw that she could receive mine but I could not receive hers. Then an AT&T friend of mine sent me a message and I discovered that we can have a conversations just fine.
Then later, after I tried another failed attempt at messaging the friend mentioned previously, I asked another freind (Yet another sprint customer) to text me and we had the same result. Then when he called me to see if i could receive calls I got his last text and many other texts from other people. The problem now is that I still do not reciece all text messages AND the ones I do get come multiple times (I am currently at 5 and counting).
If you find any solutions please let me know

  • HT5824 I switched over from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy S3 & I haven't been able to receive any text messages from iPhones. Please help with turning my iMessage completely off..

I switched over from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy S3 & I haven't been able to receive any text messages from iPhones. I have no problem sending the text messages but I'm not receivng any from iPhones at all. It has been about a week now that I'm having this problem. I've already tried fixing it myself and I also went into the sprint store, they tried everything as well. My last option was to contact Apple directly. Please help with turning my iMessage completely off so that I can receive my texts.

If you registered your iPhone with Apple using a support profile, try going to https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do and unregistering it.  Also, try changing the password associated with the Apple ID that you were using for iMessage.

  • HT4436 Why is my daughter receiving my text messages on her itouch when I send them from my iphone? We are both on icloud so how can I separate the two? Do I need another icould or apple account??

Why is my daughter receiving my text messages on her itouch when I send them from my iphone? We are both on icloud so how can I separate the two? Do I need another icould or apple account??

It's happening because you are using the same Apple ID for iMessage.  You don't need to do anything with your iCloud account to fix this.  You should create a separate Apple ID for her device to use with iMessage and FaceTime.  (You can continue to share the same ID for purchasing from the iTunes and App stores if you wish; it doesn't need to be the same as the ID you use for other services.)  Once you've done this, on her device go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID.  Do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.
Another caution is that if you share and iCloud account with her, any data you both sync with the account such as contacts, will be merged and the merged data will appear on both devices.  If you don't want to end up with each other's contacts, calendars, etc. on your devices, you should have separate iCloud accounts to.  If you want to make this change, go to Settings>iCloud on her device and tap Delete Account.  (This only deletes the account from the device, not from iCloud.)  When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data be sure to choose Keep On My iPod.  Then set up a new iCloud account with her new ID, turn on iCloud data syncing again, and when prompted choose Merge.

  • My iPhone does not alert every time I receive a text message, only some of the time.  Anyone else have this problem?

My iPhone 4S does not alert every single time I receive a text message, only some of the time.  The software is all up to date.  Anyone else have this problem?

There are a number of different alerts that can be played on the iPhone. Have you turned the mute switch on? That is located on the side of the phone. When it is in the down/on position (the orange is showing) you should not get any sound alerts. Also, it could be an SMS, a voicemail, an email, a 3rd party alert (if you have particiular apps that provide alerts). You would need to check all of those settings, but with the mute switch on you should not get any sound alerts.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You could simply ensure that only the numbers and addresses you wish to use on each device are checked at Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. However this isn’t an ideal solution because the other person can always change these settings from their device and have some fun with you and your contacts.
You’d be far better getting them to delete your account from their device and have them create one of their own. If you are sharing an ID for some other service such as iTunes, you can continue to do so, you only need change the ID for messages.
