Hello,
My IPad stopped suddenly working. Can anybody help me with this kind of problem?

I have the same issue. Tried all kinds of variations of the netflix urls (movies.netflix.com, signup.netflix.com, http://www.netflix.com, https://netflix.com etc....) couldn't get it working right... Did a mess of google searching and this thread is the only one I could find that addressed my exact issue. Called netflix and Apple. Apple was able to get it working (sort of, or temporarily....) They had me uninstall the app, then go under Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings (make sure you know your network password for your wi-fi router before you do this, because you will need to reconnect to wi-fi because the password will get wiped out of the system memory) Supposedly, this will not remove any data, just reset to factory settings. After that was done, they had me shut down the iPad, then restart the iPad. Then reconnect to wi-fi and re-set all of the Restrictions settings I had set up originally. I left in five variations of the netflix urls because when I tried these steps with just one url it wouldn't work. I tried some testing, but couldn't figure which ones were needed so I left all five in the allowed websites section under restrictions. (movies.netflix.com, signup.netflix.com, http://www.netflix.com, https://www.netflix.com, https://movies.netflix.com). Then I re-installed the netflix app and viola! it worked! I did a shutdown and restart of the iPad while I had the apple technician on the phone to make sure the app would still work after a restart and it did! Awesome.... but, after playing with the iPad some, the app would not work again! UGGGGGGGHHHHHH! I don't think I did anything specific to cause it to stop working and repeated the procedure at least 4 times with the same result, so I'm not sure what the problem is and I don't have days to spen on this.... So, I then did a bunch more testing and here's something that seems to work all the time, although it's a bit of a pain in the arse... When the netflix app is not working, go under Settings -> General -> Restrictions -> Websites and set the "Allowed Websites" to All Websites. Then close out of settings and launch the netflix app. (give it a couple of minutes to get past the red screen with spinning wheel if it doesn't open right away). Now, once the netflix app has been launched, go back and set the "Allowed Websites" back to Specific Websites Only and the netflix app will work at least until the next reboot of the iPad... The only problem with this is that you will lose your list of Specific Websites everytime you do this... For me it's not a huge problem, because my son is only 7 and doesn't really "Surf" the web, so I don't really have to add websites all the time. Hope I helped some Stecun... Hopefully netflix and apple will take steps to make this work better in a future update.... If anyone out there has a more permanent solution, it would be greatly appreciated! Where's all the computer science moms and dads at out there?
For reference, I'm using an iPad mini (not retina) running ios7.0.4 (11B554a). There were no other apps installed besides netflix and the factory installed ones at the time of my testing....

downloading and updating apps dosen't work. all apps i want to download/update are labled by "Warten..." (german - i think its "waiting" in english).
a turn off an on manually or by pushing the home and lock-button dosen't help. The wifi-connection works without problems (i'm still able to use mail or safari).
do you have any ideas?

... first time that problem appears was on updating seven apps by clicking the button "update all" in the app store of the ipad - meanwhile i delete this seven apps but that doesn't help.

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. This should not affect any content on the iPad, it is similar to rebooting your computer.

Thanks. I got the problem fixed. Spent time with the Apple folks and was kicked up to a senior advisor. It seems the problem was with my internet provider - Tmie Warner. Remember I could use the old ipad and the iphone to send mail. I checked all the specifics between the three units. It seems that TW is changing over from the RR.com to TWC.com. Since the new ipad air was just set up, it fell under the new TWC mail specifics.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

No, but you do not need iTunes to setup a new iPhone 5s. Create an iCloud backup for anything you want to transfer to the new iPhone.

Erasing the device doesn't do any good if there is a problem with the iOS software. That merely removes the contents and settings from the iPad. You need to restore to factory settings and restore the iOS.

iPad can connect only in one iTunes Library. If you want to connect it to a iTunes Library then you have to erase it. You can erase it from iTunes. Make sure you iPad doesn't have a password, or if it has a password make sure that you connect to the computer and enter the password of your iPad

My iPad screen is black but the iPad itself still works. I reset the iPad but it still doesn't work. What can i do?

When i went onto my iPad this morning it was completely fine and working but once i took it to college with me the battery had ran out, so later on tonight i plugged my charger in and left it charging for about half an hour, when i went to go back up onto it was just a black screen and every so often when i pressed the power button it would flash blue for a split second then be blacked out again...
So i had a look on this community to see if there was any solutions that could help and i found a case similar to mine so i tried to reset in hopes that it worked but it never did. I know that the iPad itself is working as i managed to unlock my iPad when putting in my passcode and i was able to get notification through as well, but after the reset i saw the apple logo appeared and it flashed a few times and i could see the setup on the screen to set it up as a new iPad.
I don't know how or why the screen will not work properly, so any help would be great

Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.

the problem whit NI 9223 module and the example that you talk about is know. Indeed, there is a CAR - Corrective Action Request - #30724 that deals with the erroneous implementation of the example.
To improve the code, the owner of CAR, suggest:
Added pipelining loops and removed from FPGA VI to Increase maximum acquisition rate and modified host VI to implement proper DMA FIFO programming practices.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled it from the Apple store and that makes no difference. I have also done a hard reboot on my iPad with no result.

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!
