IPad Email Problem 'Server Error'

When I add my exchange email account into iPad, it shows 'Server Error'.
But my coworker's account is added into iPad, it works fine.
Can anybody tell me what's wrong?

Sometimes it is as simple as checking the outgoing server setting and making sure that your username and password are correct.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

  • IPad email problems on 3G

    I have an iPad which up until Wednesday this week has picked up my talktalk emails via Orange 3G network without any problems.
    On Wednesday this stopped working with an error message that "mail.talktalk.net was not responding” and to check the email settings.  If I connect the iPad via a wifi connection I can get my emails without any problem, so the iPad email settings are correct and it worked fine on 3G until Wednesday.
    I have spent hours on the phone with Orange and with Apple proving the iPad is OK and Orange data connection is OK.  I have phoned talktalk and all I get is it’s not a talktalk problem and cannot get anyone to help.
    Am I the only one with this problem or are there others out there with iPhones and iPads having the same problem?  It is driving me mad……………..

    Web browser and all apps working fine over 3g - the problem is only with mail send and recieve.
    The message I get is "mail server mail.xxxxxxxxxxxx.com" is not responding. Verifyy that you have entered corerct account settings info in mail settings"
    I use port 143 with SSL on for incoming
    I use port 25 with SSL off for outgoing
    Same settings as with my iPhone mail app which works fine over 3g.

  • "Can't connect to iPad Software Update Server" Error. How Can I Fix This?

    I keep getting an error saying, "The iPad cannot be updated at this time because the iPad software update server could not be contacted or in temporarily unavailable.", whenever I try to update to 3.2.2 or restore my iPad. This has been happening for a couple of months now. Can someone please help me!? Apple only addresses this issue for Windows. And have searched all of google and can't find anything.

    Ahha! I have just overcome this problem myself.
    Being a highly tech savvy I immediatly assumed that this was a most complex and difficult problem to overcome. So naturally I started looking at things like port 80 and internet proxy options.
    But alas, it was my anti-virus which caused this error! A most dispicable fiend.
    Solution:
    I have Avast anti-virus so I will tell you how I disabled mine.
    Open up the program and its friendly user interface, go to Settings at the top. In the newly opened Settings window go to the left and chose Troubleshoot from the nice little list at the bottom and then in the check box area that has appeared uncheck the Avast defence module. Now hit OK / APPLY.
    Now you may close Avast completely. (Since exitting out only hides it in the background)
    Hit control+alt+delete and open the Task panel.
    Scroll across from programs -> processes,
    Now find the AvastUI.exe or something along those lines and end that process.
    Avast! It is now closed! and you may Restore/Update at will!

  • Ipad 500 Internal Server error

    I have two computers; a laptop, and an Ipad.
    Just switched to BT Broadband, and laptop connects WiFi with email, BT sport, skype, and internet working.
    Ipad also connects via WiFi, email skype and google working, but every other internet site gets "500 Internal Server Error".
    BT operator suggested I contact Apple. No help whatsoever.  Ipad worked hapily for a year on Sky broadband.
    Any suggestions?

  • HT1694 ipad email problem

    My husbands live.co.uk email account was erroring and to reset it I deleted the account and reset it.  However I didnt know that he had saved two uni documents in a draft folder only on the ipad and these have now gone.  Can we get them back?

    The iPad has no Trash Can or Recycle Bin, so the files are gone.

  • AiO iPad email problem.

    I am trying to email a scanned document from my iPad off of of my Officejat 8600. The scan works fine to my iPad but when I select it and hit send it will go to my outbox and then I will get an error code that there was a problem sending the email. Is there something else I can check to see what the problem is. Also is there a way to open ,y documents in another program other than the AiO program?

    I see you are having some problems getting the Officejet 8600 to print from your iPad, however it will scan into the iPad without issue.
    Start with the below guide for troubleshooting the printing issue. As far as the ability to open a file in another App, if an icon like this;  or  appears, click that and Apps installed will display that can open the file.

  • IPhoto - emailing photos server error!

    Hi everyone;
    just recently, my Mom's iPhoto stopped working properly when she tries to email photos directly from iPhoto. She uses Gmail and all worked until three days ago. We deleted the account in iPhoto and added it anew but she keeps getting error about server not responding.
    When I set up Mail as her email client, the photo gets exported properly and she can mail it.
    She has two email accounts, one is Gmail the other is iCloud (me.com) account - the error pops up no matter what account is used.
    She really likes the templates in iPhoto so she would of course prefer sending them from there. Since the error also shows up when the account is deleted in iPhoto and remains on both Gmail and iCloud accounts, I assume it is an iPhoto bug.
    Any troubleshooting tips are very welcome.
    Just FYI, her mid 2009 MacBook Air is on latest version of iPhoto and Mountain Lion.

    Hi Gordito. I have exactly the same. I am using Mountain Lion as well as iPhoto 9.3.2. Not sure when or after the install of Mountain Lion or after the update of iPhoto, but now I can not sent pictures via iPhoto any longer. I used iPhote for this as it has those nice email templates
    Do hope that Support knows the issue for this.

  • Ipad email problem displaying sent item recipient

    I am new to the iPad. Actually its my friend that has one and I am trying to get him up and running with it. We have one question to start with. He uses a PC Laptop for his main machine with an IMAP account so all the mail folders are stored on the ISP's server rather than locally.
    IT all works on his iPhone and his new iPad but what we have noticed is in the sent items folder is that on both devices it displays the senders (his) name rather than the recipient on each email. Not very helpful when there are a couple of thousand emails in sent items.
    My iphone is pop3 and any sent items show the recipient.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the reply.  No, there is no cc set up.  It is strange.  Its only on his apple devices.  His iPhone and iPad both show his name in sent items.  The inbox shows who the message is from but none of the sent folders do.  In Outlook however on his PC it shows the recipient in all sent folders.

    Trying to setup email on Ipad  incoming works but internet provider thinks i need to uncheck password authentication  but cannot do this any thoughts

    Have you contacted google about this? It could be them having issues or they may know of a fix. Google may have
    changed the settings on their mail server without letting you know. They now require 'password authentication'. Just needed to update these settings.
    Settings > Mail, Contacts & Calendars > (select account) > Advanced (scroll down).
    SSL: unchecked
    Authentication : password
    Port: 110
    This seems to have worked for a lot of people. Hope it works for you mate.

  • IPad email problem

    After upgrade to IOS 5 every time I delete an email from the inbox a no sender no message email appears in my in box. Does not happen on iPhone or iMac. Anyone know what is up with that?

    Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'

    My email stopped working after accepting the upgrade to version 6.  My settings appear right and everything worked before the upgrade. Any suggestions?

    I did that, but the service is intermittent. I never know with any certainty whether or not an email will go through.

    I have just wasted and hour trying to contact EE via 150 FROM MY MOBILE. It will not allow me to key in and Option number so that I can speak to someone at the other end.   • Internal Server Error while deploying a project to a remote BPEL instance.

    Some background. We were trying to use the adapters going out through iWay to hit a Siebel instance. Originally, we were using a BPEL VM for development, and trying to hit adapters on the iWay box. We found out that we needed to have BPEL and adapters installed in the OC4J container; so we rebuilt our iWay box.
    So, now the iWay box has Oracle DB, Oracle App Server, BPEL, and adapters in the same OC4J container.
    When you do an appserver install of BPEL, it doesn't install JDev; so we are doing development on our BPEL VM; or on a standalone version on the laptop (both give the same error.)
    I can deploy the project locally to my laptop or the locally to the SOA(BPEL) VM, but when I try to deploy from either JDev to the BPEL server on iWay, we get:

    I was using Fuego.Sql.DynamicSQL.close(Iterator)
    For a an executeUpdate query which returns an int.
    But I used it in a method and did not use that method inside my process or screenflow.
    But it did not give me any error/exception while compiling it in Studio.
    It gave me an exception while publishing in Enterprise.
    This is strange.
    It should have given me an error/exception while compiling itself rather than while publishing in Enterprise.

  • TS2621 From my iPad I get CannotConnect To The Server error message. The iPad is new and I have never received an email via the icloud acct. My PCM receives icloud mail, no problem. Internet connectivity not an issue.

    From my iPad I get an error message "cannot connect to the server". Internet connection not the problem. No problem receiving mail from icloud on my PC. I think it was a set up issue. iPad is new and receives mail from hotmail no problem. It just will not connect to the icloud server.

    I am having this same issue.  I can access these accounts from computers, other locations on others' computers, but I cannot get the mail from one account on either my iPhone or iPad.  I've deleted the account on the iPad and re-installed it, but it still will not receive mail.
    Frustrating.
