Ipad from India use in US?

I bought ipad from India. Can i use it in the US? Will there be any issues related to power?

The charger is universal in terms of voltage and current, all that is needed is a plug converter to the US flat pin plug type.
WiFi will work fine.
If it is cellular, you will probably want to get a sim for a US service provider to avoid high user fees.

Hi everyone - We are thinking of providing our sales reps with iPads to use as product catalogs (by opening a PDF file) however we wish to restrict them from doing anything else. Is there an app or something which would enable us to restrict the tablet in this way?

The only option would be to set up the iPad to open a PDF reader app as the sole app in Guided Access:

That's the only way you can limit an iPad to using only a single app. That would seem to make the iPad rather overkill, if all you want is for them to be able to read PDFs. Something like one of the base-model Kindles might be better suited to the task.

If you want to unassociate your iPad from the computer, As far as I know - you still have to log into your account on the computer and remove the device from iTunes in there. Yoy cant do it on the iPad.
Launch iTunes, and go to Store>view my account. Enter your Apple ID and your password. Go to iTunes in the cloud. There should be something that says Associated Devices, click on that and you can remove the iPad.

iPads are effectively devices with (a) no color management at all, but (b) screens that are natively fairly close to sRGB.
So you should export in sRGB.

Yahoo blocks my ipad from being used, forces me to accept tracking

If I try to sign in to my Yahoo account on my iPad, Yahoo puts up a screen asking if they can enable tracking, so as to "serve me better". There is but one option for an answer, and it is "OK". but it won't allow me to decline and continue to use MY iPad.
What can I do to disable this Yahoo request, without having to shut down and re-start?

As a follow up, I've discovered that this is happening in IE on the same websites. When I log into a different computer and test the same scenarios, the cookies do not disappear. It seems to be a problem on my computer. However, if anyone knows how to fix this, I'd be glad to hear it.

VPN from India to California fails

We are having some difficulties w/ our VPN connection from India (using the Cisco VPN client) to California connecting to our 3005 VPN Concentrator. The VPN connects but nothing is pingable by name or ip. The average latency between the two sites is about 500ms which I assume is the issue, but I have never dealt w/ a VPN connection over such distances and dont know what the exact thresholds are for it. The India side has said they have connected over to the States using the Cisco client before, but at 500 ms latency I dont know how. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I can hardly believe that the latency is causing this. When the tunnel is established you should be able to pass at least some traffic over it. My suggestion would be to double check the config for the client and the VPN concentrator. Did you also test with other protocols like telnet or ftp?

You can use a paper clip instead of the PIn that came with the iPad.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

That will depend on how you buy the iPad.
If you buy it from an Apple Store directly at full price it will be unlocked, and can take a sim card from any compatible GSM carrier.
If you buy it directly from T-Mobile under a subsidy(at a discount price tied to a service contract) Then it may be locked to T-Mobile for at least 40 days of service with them.

When you went back to the place where you purchased this phone, & asked them, what did they say?
No one here can help you with this, nor can/will Apple. You need to take this up with whoever you purchased this phone from.
