IPad goes SWOD after it was deleted from iCloud
My iPad was deleted from iCloud and now I cannot restore it. It only show the SWOD after a hard reset. What should I do to be able to restore it?
I finally solved this problem by putting the iPad in recovery mode then proceeded with restore in iTunes.

How to recover application that had an x on it. it was deleted from my dock
Hi katana,
Go into your Finder under Applications:
Click on iPhoto to open it - it will go to your Dock. Click and hold down on the icon on the Dock, and you will see "Options". Click on that, and then select "Keep in Dock". Do the same with PhotoBooth. You should be all set!

How do you recover a file that was deleted from iCloud?
I can't find a file I stored on iCloud. I must have deleted it by mistake. I need to recover it.
Thank you,
EddieSorry, there is no file recovery for files you delete from cloud storage. If you made a local backup then you can restore from it.

Hello,
is it possible to retrieve data that was deleted from ICloud?. I was adjusting my data to fit the Cloud´s storage capacity, and while deleting from ICloud an old IPhone which had been stolen from me, most of my contacts disappeared. Can I somehow get the back?
Txs and regards,
JoséAlso, what are the source of your contacts? are they created on the phone, or you synced from yahoo/hotmail etc.
If thats the case, the circular arrow wont be visible but instead show "groups"
Contacts from different accounts are not synced to iCloud. -

itunes was deleted from laptop after changing credt card infor and password. How do I get it back along with all of its contents?
I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

How can I retreive a video that was deleted from my iphone??
If it was a video taken on your iPad, and if you have it backed up from the last time you did an iTunes (or iCloud) backup, then yes, you can restore your iPad using that backup.

How do i recover a file deleted from iCloud on my iPad
how do i recover a file deleted from iCloud on my iPad? It's a pages document
check at https://www.icloud.com/ to see if the file is saved there in documents or iCloud drive
if not check under settings > iCloud > storage > manage storage and see if there is a backup of the iPad from when the document was still saved
if there is restoring your iPad form that backup may recover it
Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support
if there is not then check to see if it is still saved on any other computers or devices to see if it is saved there
good luck -
How can I restore a contact which was deleted from Contacts?
I opened Contacts on OS X 10.9.1. I noticed there was a duplicate contact. I deleted the duplicate, then added some information to the remaining copy of the contact. I closed contacts. When I returned a few minutes later, the remaining copy was also gone, now I would like to restore it, but there is no information on how to do that.
ThanksWhat if it was synced - either to iCloud or iTunes (I'm not sure which one I backed up to) after the video was taken? How do I recover it? I have synced/backed-up my iPhone 4 since the video was deleted from my device. Is it still recoverable? Thanks.

I have a number of photos on my Ipad and/or Iphone, and I have synced them with Icloud (my IMac is also synced with Icloud). I know that I can choose to synch directly with my IMac instead of with Icloud, but I would like to know what happens to the photos if I delete them from my Ipad/Iphone? I want to delete photos and movies to make more room on the devices.
I have not selected automatic syncing with Icloud for my photos.
I assume that the photos remain in Icloud until I go to Icloud to delete, but does anyone know how that is supposed to work?
ThanksRemember that you should not store photos on iCloud. It's time and capacity limited. It holds up to 1,000 photos for no more than 30 days. So, import no. 1001 and the first one is dumped. Leave them untouched and they will be deleted from iCloud after 30 days.
You can't delete individual photos from iCloud (only reset the whole thing) so trashing from a device will not trash from iCloud. -

Hi, I know this is stupid, but without going into the how, I deleted important photos and actually backed up my icloud, so I think they are gone completely! I am furious with my self, is there anyway to retrieve this data from some space even if I have to be charged by apple ... just being hopeful...
Photo stream photos are not backed up, and when you delete them from one device, they are also deleted from iCloud and your other devices. If they were in your camera roll when you last back up you device, restoring the backup should recover them. Otherwise, they are, unfortunately, gone.
Also, photo stream photos don't use any of your iCloud storage so deleting them won't free any storage up in your account.
You can't really use iCloud to back up your photos. It's designed to stream them to your devices and share with others, not to back them up. In fact, photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. In order to back up your photos, import them to your computer while they are still in your camera roll, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. Or, if you have a Mac that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled, and you are using iPhoto '11 9.2.2 or later, go to iPhoto>Preferences>iCloud and check Automatic Import. This will ensure that your photo stream photos are automatically imported to your iPhoto library where they will be safe (especially if you are using Time Machine to back up your Mac).
