IPad has "4.2G" of photos with only 46 photos?

I don't know if this is just a glitch or the photos take up a lot of space but my iPad always says it has 4.2G of photos. It isn't affected when I delete photos either. I don't know if maybe something else is included in the "Photos" section but this is really annoying. I deleted photo stream in the hope it would help but it didn't.

You have to go into your Gmail account settings.
Then Security.
Then turn ON 2-Step Verification
Follow the instructions to link a cell phone to your google account. They will text you a secondary code and once you've entered that your 2-step verification will be set up.
Then you should have the option on the bottom of the page to add a device. Call it apple tv and then it will generate a secondary code specifically for your Apple TV.
On the Apple TV itself, ultimately I think you have to enter just the first part of your e-mail address (before the @gmail.com) as your Youtube login username.
Then you should enter your gmail account password.
Apple TV will tell you it is incorrect.
Then, retry and enter the long secondary password that google generated for the apple tv.
That should do it.

It should do but nobody can guarantee it 100%.
The best thing is to download the trial version and install that. When you install it, it should take a copy of your current catalog and then convert that copy to the new format. Your Photoshop Elements 9 should not be affected.
It is always a good idea to ensure that you have a backup of your catalog & photos when you start a major update like this. Take a backup using the Elements Backup to Hard drive option (under File menu) - best backed up to an external drive.
It is ok to have both version installed on your system but I suggest that you just use the version 12 to check out the catalog conversion to start with. If you are happy with that, you can always run the conversion at a later stage if you have updated the version 9 catalog. You can not convert the version 12 catalog back to a version 9 catalog.

3.2 Gigs of Photos with only 57 pics?!!

I synched my husband's iphone last night and we were both shocked to see that 3.2 Gigs of his 16 Gig phone were being taken up by photos, given that he has only taken 57 photos with his phone. The only thing we could come up with was the fact that he had several videos that he had taken with his phone, also stored in the camera roll, with a combined total of approximately 50 minutes of video. Is the large amount of video minutes responsible for taking up the 3 Gigs of space, or Houston, do we have a problem?

50 minutes of video? Without calculating I'd say yeah, that could be it, based on what my shorter videos take up.

Preview opens multipal photos with only one selected. Suggestions to fix?

When I double click on a single photo in Preview, it opens multipal photos everytime, even though only one is selected.
Tried deleting preview permissions, but preview still opens several photos when only one is clicked.

Why doesn't G510n print photos with premium photo paper

I just received the G510n Wireless for Christmas. I tried printing a Photo on Premium Photo Paper and it does not come out. I can't find Photo Ink for this printer. Doesn't this printer have the capability to print Photos on Photo Paper?

Yes your printer does have the capability to print photos on photo paper.
I'm not sure what operating system you are using but here is a link that shows how to print using photo paper in Mac OS 10.5 or later.
Also here is a link to your printers manual with instructions on how to print photos in windows as well.

No, can't say I have.
Could very well well be an image format issue, or a corrupted file. What platform is the source from (iOS, Android?). And what does "not being able to open" mean exactly?
You might also try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

I cannot use my iPad. The screen is black with only the circulating dowmnloading symbol showing and I cannot switch it off to re-boot. If I try to connect to iTunes it says it could not connect because o an unknown error 0xE80000065, but I can't turn it

I cannot use my iPad.
It presents a black blank screen with just the circulating symbol in the middle.
I cannot turn if off or on to re-boot it as the on-off swith does not respond, neither does the press button on the bottom edge of the pad.
I have tried to connect it to iTunes but my computer (running Windows Vista) shows an error message 0xE8ooooo65.
Previous to this complete shut-down I had successfully connected to iTunes and tried to download the new 4.3.3 (?) Update.
This showed it would take four hours ! So it was left to do just that.
However it then went back after thfour hours it said it was backing up my files, but then shutdown.
Can anyone help?

Book or article on FCE working with only photos

Can someone recommend a good book OR article about working with photos and FCE? I mainly make historical DVDs and use photos, not film.

I can't recommend any articles as I have not read any but take a look at these 3 links.
The first 2 are specifically for photos, the other 2 are sites with vast numbers of tutorials which you will have to check out yourself.
Remember that what works for Final Cut Pro will usually work for Final Cut Express.

My iPad has 21 apps but my iphone4s only shows 13 - why?

I was trying to get apps from my iPad to my new iPhone and the apps store purchase section only shows 13 instead of the 21 that are on my iPad. Does someone know why, or rather how do I get all 21 available to download. Tks.

When you plug in your iPhone to iTunes, click on your iPhone in the list that runs down the left side and then in the large main view box on the right, click the "Apps" tab on your iPhone. Check all the apps on the list that are available to you that you would like to load. There are going to be seperate lists as you scroll down. Some of your apps may be iPad only, but going through the list, if you see they arent iPad exclusive, you can check them, then hit the "sync" button in the bottom right corner and it will load the remaining apps.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
