IPad iOS 6 WiFi, iMessage and iTunes store problems - not the usual

When I first updated my iPad 3 to iOS 6, everything ran relatively smoothly. Then the problems started piling on, beginning with me being absolutely unable of logging into iMessage. It's always the same error message: "Incorrect password". My password is correct, I am using the password I have always used so I know it is correct. Besides that, I tried changing it and that did not matter either way.
Now, the next problem is the common "Unable to connect to iTunes store" which has been talked about a lot on here.
In an effort to try to fix that problem, I reset all network settings for the iPad and that's when the next problem began.
After I reset the network settings, I have not been able to connect to a secure network.
I have now tried
changing the encryption for the router password from WPS-SPK to WEP and back again
connecting to three different routers with three different passwords
set up multiple hotspots using my laptop with multiple passwords
resetting the network settings over and over again
and all those attempts have failed. I always get the same message as in the picture even though I know for a fact that the password is correct, my laptop accesses that network with flying colors using the same password as I tried on the iPad. And yes, I tried it again. And again and again and again.
Now, this is really annoying. Not being able to access WiFi on my iPad is f****** annoying! Please help!

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

TS1424 downloaded itunes and itunes store will not load

I've installed Itunes from the Apple website, I need to access my account to deauthorise all previous computers however the Itunes store will not load up,any ideas?

What I don't get about this community is how come we have to rely on other users to guess how to fix major problem....SHOULDN'T BE Apple's duty to surf these users issues and give the RIGHT ANSWER ASAP!!!!!
Anyway I got the same problem...app store stuck!

Webutil-Problem (not the usual "PRE-FORM", "WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE" etc.)

We have an application with lots of modules, where we use webutil to create text files on the client for data exports. The export is called in a WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED Trigger and usually works fine, but we have the following problem:
If two modules, where webutil is used, are opened at the same time and one module is closed, webutil does not function anymore in the other module. If we then try to create a text file after closing on module, we get the following error-message:
Oracle.forms.webutil.file.FileFunctions bean not found.
WEBUTIL.FILE.FILE_SELECTION_DIALOG_INT will not work.
It’s not only the FileFunctions bean, all other webutil functions do not work also anymore in the remaining module.
This is not the usual “PRE-FORM”, “WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE” etc. Webutil-Problem.
As I said before, webutil works, but when we close one module with webutil used, it does not work in another open module anymore.
Any Idea, why this happens and how to solve the problem???

Yes, both modules work in the the same session and session is not disconnected, when one of the modules is closed.
Webutill.pll is attached on both forms and all forms in our application using webutil usually work fine with the exception mentioned above.
It's a bit difficult to explain, what happens in our application, but I try:
Our application consists of modules that call other modules with call_form or go_form , when the module is open, all in the same session. "Global" Parameters are passed with SHARE_LIBRARY_DATA. Usually the calling forms stays open.
In the following constellation webutil does not work anymore at a certain point :
- Open module A (with webutil attached) and webutil works
- Then module A calls module B (with webutil attached) and webutil works in module B
- GO_FORM (module A) and webutil still works (while module B is still open)
- CALL_FORM (module C) (in our case webutil is not attached to this module, but I think that is not the problem) module C closes module B (while module A stays open)
- After making a choice in module C, module C closes itself with EXIT_FORM.
- Go back to the open module A, make a new query with the choice made in module C and webutil does not work anymore in module A

IOS music library and iTunes syncing problems

Hello,
Just wondering if the issues that have been bothering me for some time and with multiple recent iOS and iTunes versions are going to get fixed in the future?
Adding or removing music manually or automatically between iTunes and the iOS has resulted in the corruption of the music library on the iOS device several times and the solution to fix the problem is always to empty the device and to start over. For example today I noticed that the album art had disappeared from my music (a known issue) and I searched the forums for a solution. Well the solution is to empty all of the music from the device and upload it back again and the album art will be back. Great! Except the music got deleted and still the space in use is showing "other usage" for the exact size of my deleted music library. If I try to add some music it adds to the space of the mysterious occupied space and the device is soon full. Time to start from scratch again. The syncing is broken and the software is buggy and I'd like it to work flawlessly instead of starting from scratch every time I'm making any minor changes to my music library. I think the reliability of the software and the basic functions is more important than the ability for the phone to ring in the computer whenever I get a call. Which is pretty amazing in someone else's opinion I'm sure.
Oh yes and the iPad is not uploading updated apps to the iTunes automatically which it did some software versions ago (a known issue). This is annoying.

I had the very same problem with you. I think the main reason for this happening is purchasing and downloading content with your phone. I don't know how it happens though, this seems the problem with me.
What I did is, I basically erased all content and settings from my iPhone and used my backup in my mac to install everything back again. After that, the "other usage" got really small in size and as I deleted all the songs by using syncing, I saw that music occupied no space in my phone. Then, I synchronized my music back again and now everything works just fine.

App store and iTunes store both not working properly

I use a mac. They are both extremely sluggish. The app store is the worst and most anoying. I already have tried lots of things including flushing cashes, removing temp files, turning of genius in itunes. No result.
Something is going wrong with my id I think? Since it's both stores that are off.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
When you launch Terminal, a text window will open with a line already in it, ending either in a dollar sign ($) or a percent sign (%). If you get the percent sign, enter “sh” and press return. You should then get a new line ending in a dollar sign.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for your password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator rights.
The test may take up to a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. There is no indication of progress until it's done. Wait for the line "[Process completed]" to appear in the Terminal window. If you don't see that line within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report your results. No harm will be done.
When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." That's because the forum software falsely identifies something in the post as a violation of the terms of use. Apple ID for home sharing and iTunes Store should be the same?

I've got 2 iTunes Store accounts, my girlfriend has one, and we're just moving in together.
A few questions ...
Can I create a 4th 'Apple ID' for our home sharing?
Would we still be able to listen to each others libraries?
Would we still be able to copy songs from one another, like I can with my 1 account between computers?
Are there any other downsides to creating a separate account for home sharing?

IOS 6.1 iMessage problems (not the usual though)

Since I upgraded my iPhone 4S to iOS 6.1, every message that is generated outside of the messages app is being sent as an iMessage, regardless of the recipient. This obviously fails when you try to, for example, send a picture to someone with a non iOS device, because the phone tries to send it as an iMessage and it just fails. I then have to go into the messages app and elect to resend the iMessage as an SMS. The same thing happens when I ask Siri to text someone. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

It's weird cuz the only solution I found was to turn on send as SMS feature in iMessage....(which used to never had to be turned on prior to ios 6.1.... Great for avoiding international texting fees =\ )
But now you have to leave it on... It's the only fix to share pictures, links, or any media that doesn't involve the messages apps... Basically anything you hit the share tab on (if it doesn't have iMessage and you had send as SMS off, it's not gonna send at all!)

My iTunes and iTunes Store will NOT play on my computer any longer

For some reason none of the songs in my iTunes library or the iTunes store will no longer play on my computer. I can double click the song and it appears in the little box at the top of the screen but it WILL NOT play. Very frustrating. Is there some setting that got changed some how that I can not find??

Touch inaccessible & iTunes store loop NOT the original issue

I've been suffering that nag screen for weeks but its now changed so that it doesn't return the error just a never ending loop of being presented with the iTunes store! There's literally no way out of it.
Syncing via right clicking the Touch doesn't solve the problem as right clicking doesn't actually present the Touch front page so I can't change any settings or add any video which I have been doing manually.
Any ideas?

Thanks but that's not a solution - Apple have to fix this as until yesterday when I declined the apps there was the error message and the Touch was available. Apple have changed something and the error message isn't generated, instead there's an OK screen (let's leave aside the issue that Apple isn't respecting my choice to decline) and the only exit from it is to the iTunes store... repeatedly.
Now I can't get in and I think, like most people, I multi-task and its simply not convenient to unplug my router to sync my Touch there's too much going on at any time and I'm quite likely to need to do it more than once a day.

IPhone sound problem - not the usual issues

Okay so I was listening to music in my office on an external set of speakers, and suddenly my sound cuts. The phone still says music is playing but nothing can be heard through either the built-in speaker or the external speakers. I tried the typical "trick the headphone jack" thing and no luck. When I try to play a saved voicemail and chance the volume, it indicates that the phone is using a bluetooth headset. However, I don't own one and bluetooth is off.
When I try and change the volume at the home screen it says it's in Speaker mode, and when attempting to call somebody and change the volume it claims bluetooth again. I've both rebooted the phone and restored it. I'm doubting any hardware damage because it was working when I was playing music, then it just stopped without touching it.
I'm traveling alot tomorrow and really really need my phone. Please help!!

I'm having the same sort of problems. Sometimes the external speakers work and then stops working (eg keyboard sounds, etc). On other occasions when I'm using the phone, the ear speaker cuts out and only by enabling the speaker icon, can I hear the other party with the external speakers. The people I'm speaking with are unaffected and continue to hear me. Sometimes the message "(headphone)" shows on the screen. I didn't have this problem before the recent iPhone software upgrade. Must be software problem. Will reset iPhone work?? My original iPhone that my daughter has with no upgrade doesn't have this problem.

Can't FaceTime anymore? iPad states wifi connected and iPhone 4 states not connected? I have wireless in my home? Not sure what happened. Password works for iPad but not on phone?

Connect iPhone to computer and open iTunes. You will be prompted to update to iOS 7.0. Keep your phone connected until the update is finished.

I'm changing my credit card and iTunes store will not accept my security code

I am trying to change my credit card/debit card to a new one and I keep getting a message to enter the correct security code. I did and I still cannot get past this message. Comments?
