I need ur help..i have to unplug and plug the charging pin to my ipad many times until i cam see the icon on the upper right that ia alrdy charging..i often see 'not charging' message many times before it will charge succesfully..need ur help guys.thanka

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I've checked the obvious things, changed the fuse, tried different cables, poked paperclips in reset holes, but nothing doing. I wonder if there is anyone who knows what might be wrong. Was it possibly a power cut in connection with a thunderstorm? Any other evidence of higher than normal voltages (light bulbs, et cetera)? Has the line voltage been checked (measured with an appropriate voltmeter/multimeter)?
If necessary, it would be possible to remove the hard drive, and then connect it to an external IDE/ATA to USB adapter (example below). That way you could gain access to files on the hard disk from another computer.

If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.

When I enter time machine (on Time Capsule) i see the stack of screen shots and the time line. However, when I roll over the mouse pointer, the time line does not activate. The cancel button does not get me out of the app: have to alt cmd esc. Ideas?

Hello Apple.
It seems you have gone to great lengths to improve accessibility in many areas of the iPad. Why was this obvious problem with icon text size missed? (It's not with the Mac.). And for so long too.
Do you employ people with actual accessibility problems to help you do UI design?
I think too, that some buttons are too close for people who might have motor control problems.
I love my iPad but I fear as I age, the iPad might not keep up with me.

Even updating an older game app resulted in the original game icon changing to the new identical icon that all new apps are appearing with. As you need to be on 10.6 to be able access the App Store to download Lion, either get replacement discs via Applecare (you'll need the MBP's serial number to get the right ones) or get the SL retail disc. I would recommend the Original disc replacement set (assuming they were 10.6) as they carry not onlyApple Hardware Test for your model, but the iLife apps other bundled sftware that isn't on the retail disc.
Once you've installed, and used Software Update to get to 10.6.8, you can then get Lion if you're feeling masochistic.
