I suspect you may be using an old version of iTunes. Check to be sure you are running the most recent version. Update if necessary and try again.

IPad syncing problem - HELP!

iPad sync problem - HELP! I keep getting this message "...cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional ...space needed)" and yet I seem to have plenty of space on the iPad. This just started today. I even tried deleting some things to make even more room, but it didn't help. Any ideas???
I was thinking of restoring, but I've never done it... should I?

Post IOS 8.1.3 iPad speaker problems, Help!!

After updating to ios 8.1.3 all sounds coming from my iPad (32 GB 4th gen.) have major static distortion undertones; including key sounds, music, audio & video etc. This occurs at ANY volume, & I've never listened to very loud music on the iPad.
I really do not think I could have damaged my speakers, and the simple fact that the same debilitating static sound is being transmitted through to my Bluetooth speakers is very strange?!
(I updated to the latest IOS; 8.1.3, in hopes of fixing another volume related problem; certain apps that have small audio files (dictionaries) were not functioning, and although my settings for "Key Clicks" and "Lock Sounds" were always "on"- suddenly they disappeared. Now they're back with a horrible static noise. Apart from "rebooting" or soft resetting my iPad- I have no clue what to do?
Any help would be a fantastic.
(I was also wondering if I'm the only one out there who seems to have a defective power supply port- every time I find an "Apple made & approved" lighting cable, after 2 to 4 months the iPad stops detecting it at all- or I'm given messages reading; "this accessory is/ may not be compatible with the iPad..."! I almost wish for the days of the 32 pin cables- I imagine micro USB's were never even an option at Apple!) Any help or information about this would be sincerely appreciated! Thanks!

I had this problem, too, I my iPad with Retina display (~ 2 years old). Luckily we were just under our extended warranty, so we had a new device shipped to us (another iPad with Retina display). I installed the backup from the original iPad using iTunes, and everything has been working well for about two weeks. Now, all of a sudden, we're getting the same static-like undertones through some apps and the lock/unlock and keyboard sounds.
Before I sent the first iPad back to the company, I did a complete factory reset on it. I noticed after the factory reset that the sound on the original iPad had returned to normal (at least as far as the key pad is concerned).
My plan for the replacement iPad at this point if this keeps up is to back it up using iTunes, give it a factory reset, and restore it again from the iTunes back-up.
I would certainly be curious to hear if anyone else is experiencing these problems.

IPad/iTunes Problems

I have an iPad 3 and have had no problems thus far. However, now I have apps that are stalled at "waiting" and when I try to sync with iTunes, I get a message that says 25 apps could not be synced because "the apps installed on the iPad could not be determined". I've had Apple devices going all the way back to the iPod with the wheel (including iTouch, iPhone 3, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPad 1st Generation, and iPad 3rd Generation), so have experience with both the Apple devices and iTunes. This one, though, is new to me and I can't figure out what to do about it. I've updated all apps in iTunes, yet it cannot sync to the iPad.
I appreciate any suggestions because I now have apps that I cannot use because they are "waiting".
(While writing this post, I realized that I still had yet to update to 7.1.2, so thought I'd do that before posting this question... however, now it seems stalled during the installation of the update. There is the Apple logo, and the bar below has about 10% lit up, and hasn't moved for at least ten minutes. So, I'm posting this anyway.... thanks for any help)

I suspect you may not have enough available storage space to install the updates or the iOS update.
How much space do you have? Go to Settings>General>About>Available
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.
If storage space is the problem, you need to delete some apps, photos, videos, etc.

Annoying iphone problems, help plz?

well, I'm having two annoying problems with my iphone, the first is that when I record a video or a photo, it does not save and the second is that it does not appear as a removable drive on the pc, SOMEBODY HELP ME PLZ :/

You should try to restore the iPhone using iTunes make sure you back up, see if it helps.
iPhones won't show as removable device if you are referring to be able to copy/transfer files similar to a usb flash drive. It is restricted based on Apple's specification altho it should appear as "Digital Camera Device" having access to your captured photo's or "camera roll" you should unlock your iPhone first before connecting to PC or Mac if you do have a password.
As of saving issues, try to restore the firmware by itunes or resetting through iPhone settings as reset or restore.
It should fix and work as normal, if it doesnt you can always go back from where you purchased it but it will. Goodluck.

Hi Moni,
The problem as I had replied in your earlier post is with the MODIFY statement.
MODIFY TABLE ITAB FROM ITAB. This statement will do the modifications based on the table key. When you have character fields as editable, then some problems are to be anticipated. In such a scenario, you must update the internal table based on the index, rather than based on key.
So consider using
MODIFY ITAB FROM ITAB INDEX TCL-CURRENT_LINE.
Where TCL is the name of the Table Control. Also observe the difference in syntax here, don't use the TABLE keyword for the MODIFY statement.
Please try it out and let me know.

Iphone 5 sync with itunes problems HELP!

This is the first ever Apple product I have owned so I am use to just dragging songs over to my blackberry file and it would send them to my phone straight away nice and easy. I have the latest itunes and iphone5 software.
I am finding it difficult to understand and Im guessing I will need a step by step guide to the problems because I havent got a clue how to do the following:
When I connect my iphone5 to my laptop and open up itunes, it auto syncs all my music to my iphone unless I click the stop button, I dont want this because there's only certain songs I want on my iphone, How do I stop it auto syncing (step by step guide would be helpful).
Also now on my iphone I click on songs every song is in a grey colour and cannot be played because I deleted all music so I could sync only certain songs, how do I get rid of that?
One more question. All my music files are on my itunes, but how do I set it up so I can create a playlist or manually select songs to sync to my iphone (again step by step clicking guide would be perfect because I am not use to any of this at all). Thanks
Its probably so easy but because Ive never done it before my heads battered and all over the place with it.

You have to configure the sync settings by accessing the summary page when you connect your iphone to your computer using iTunes on your computer. If you haven't installed itunes go to apple.com/itunes to DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL iTunes.

Nokia 5220 WHITE SCREEN PROBLEM *Help plz*

hello guys ... my phone's (5220) screen has gone White ... !! i have absolutely no idea what the problem is ! i took out the battery and put it back again .. but when i turn it on ..after the nokia logo the screen goes white again !! i cant do anything except for looking at the white screen...! the phone doesnt even turn off until you take out the battery !
I tried to connect it to my PC (via data cable) but the phone does not get connected with the PC suite !! PLZ HELP ME !!

Jimmyireland is right - anything that you could do yourself requires the phone to at least boot up properly, at the moment your phone is like PC with no Windows involved, it can't find its OS to start.
The 5220 is a series 40 phone, there is facility for a forced reboot, it needs its software to be reflashed which is why you need the Nokia service point.

Annoying podcast problem help plz

hi guys,
first if this is in the wrong place, i apologise, as you can see a new user.
anyway, heres my problem,
i just got hold of an ipod mini, and i use my itunes extensively for podcast listening,and i have a problem regarding when it comes to syncing them with my ipod.
basically i would like my ipod to put any podcast that is listed as new in itunes on my ipod when i connect it.
and yes it does that fine.
but what problem i have is, when i come to syncing again, it will get the new ones ok, but it will remove all the ones previously put on there, and its annoying, as there are some i have not listened to yet.
is there a setting were i can get my ipod/itunes to put all new podcasts on automatically, but leave them on until i decide to remove them.
i have tried all the settings in the ipod/podcast settings, but none do that.
so any help guys appreciated.

IPad Itunes Purchasing Help

Hey all. I just got a new iPad 3 for my bday (16gb black) it has the ability to do data but I have not started the data plan yet and am using it as purely wifi until I get the plan. I got this present while on vacation and I used my girlfriends computer to put music on my new iPad. I am signed into my account and can download apps and previously purchased content on my Apple ID, but I can not rent movies or buy songs from my iPad. In my itunes account, Only my cvomputer is shown as a device authorized to purchase content. The iPad is not shown. How do I get the ipad to become an authorized device so I can download songs direct to iPad? When I try to download songs now, it just keeps asking for my password, over and over, never getting anywhere.

IPad/iTunes Problem

I'm running Lion on an iMac and have an iPad2. My wife also has an iPad but hers is the older generation. In iTunes we both have the 'Open iTunes when iPad is connnected' box checked and also the 'Sync with iPad over Wi-Fi' box checked. When connecting the iPads to the iMac to sync, iTunes usually doesn't open. If either of us opens iTunes, the iPad is detected immediately. Very rarely iTunes will open when connecting an iPad. I've tried deselecting the 'Sync with iPad over Wi-Fi' option and it doesn't make a difference. Wondering if anyone has a solution?

Since itunes does open ocaisonally for you when you connect the iPad, I don't know if this will work. Go to your user account in the system preferences on the Mac and enable iTunes helper in the Log In items. Put a checkmark next to it.
I'm not sure if this even log in item should be available in Lion - even though it shows in my Lion preferences. I set up my brand new MacBook from a time machine backup and this was already set up in my log in items - but it shows as an unknown application. I'm running the latest version of everything on my Mac and I'm not sure why it shows up as an unknown application. But try setting that preference up in the Log In items and see if that lets iTunes open when you connect the iPads.

Recent iTunes Problems Help please.

I've recently experiencing problems with iTunes.
It randomly stops playback for a few seconds and then resumes becoming quite annoying, is there any reason why. Running windows 8.1 on a dell XPS.
Any help is much appreciated

Uninstalling or reinstalling iTunes should have no adverse effect on the library, but you should backup anyway.

New Address Book SYNC and ITUNES Problems- HELP!!!

When I try to tick the check box to syncornize my address book in my iPod preferences panel, I get the following message: "No contacts available- contact syncing cannot be enabled because there are no contacts available. Do you want to open Address Book and create contacts now?" When I do, Address Book opens (full of the 1100 contacts), but does not resolve the problem. Neither does deleting then reimporting the contacts, nor restoring from back up, nor Disk Warrior's rebuilding of the Directory.
Likewise, when I try to use iSync with my phones (until recently working by the way), I cannot tick the sync 'Contacts' box and then choose a phonebook, as it just gives me All Contacts as the only option. And even then, when I try to sync, I get a "sync failed" message.
These probelms started occurring after a kernal panic that happened when I connected my Sony Ericsson w800i to my computer via a USB cable. iPhoto and iTunes freaked out, but have since been restored to working order. But when I connected the new video iPod for the first time, I couldn't get it to sync with Address Book nor iCal. iCal works today, but not so the Address Book.
Yikes....if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

THANK YOU for this solution; after trying MANY things to get my addresses to sync again, this fixed my sync problem! One suggestion I would add is if you try this, be sure to check the box "sync notes when exporting vCards" (Address Book: preferences) before exporting. The first time I lost my notes, but just removed the folder again and exported with notes. I had to recreate all my groups, but a small price to pay to get my addresses syncing again to my iPod.
I think one of the address files may have become corrupt, POSSIBLY after my iPod appeared to be stuck during a sync one time, but I later discovered that there was a sync dialogue box hidden behind iTunes waiting for my response. Problems seemed to start after that.

Moving iTunes Problem(help appreciated)

Ok. My computer's disk space was almost full, so I bought an external hard drive and simply cut and pasted the iTunes folder on my computer. I then simply added all the files(from the external hard drive) into iTunes. The problem is that it's registering this library as a new one and I have to erase and sync. Is there anyway to undo what I've done? Help is much appreciated !!

and hit ok.

Select "Save All information..."
Then save it onto your Desktop.
Open the DxDiag.txt (The information you saved onto the desktop)

WRH54G linksys setup problem help plz

i just bought the WRH54G linksys wireless-G home router. I put the cd rom in and i followed every step and i have everything in the right place but when it is at step 9 when u have to choose between DHCP, PPPoE, or Static Ip i dont know which one to choose so i go with DHCP then step 10 after i put in the passwords and click next and it is checking internet connection it says the router is not able to connect to the internet. try turning cable/dsl modem off and back on again. do you want to try again?. that is where i get stuck and i have tried to turn it off and back on again and i doesnt work. can anyone help me out?

I have DSL from verizon... in there instusction on how to.. the first thing is to put the MODEM that they issued A WESTELL into brigde mode .. and setup..
