Ipad mail won't push on lock screen

I have an outlook exchange account and a gmail account on my ipad mail with ios7. My mail doesn't show up while on lock screen and I have that selected in noticiation center. I have to start using my ipad (out of lock screen) to receive my emails. I would like it to work like my iphone. When an email arrives while on lock screen it appears as a notification. I checked all settings and they match that of my ipHone

Each mail account can have different notifications.
Be sure to check each account individually.
Settings > Notification Center > Mail > you should see a list of all your mail accounts, check each one to make sure Show on Lock Screen is on.
Also, make sure Do Not Disturb is off:
Settings > Do Not Disturb > turn off both Manual & Scheduled

    You may have to do this several times.
    Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school environment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
  • So every time i push the lock screen my whole screen is white
    so every time i push the lock screen my whole screen is white
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
  • Will ios 7 on the ipad have picture frame on the lock screen? Or did they take it off??
    Will iOS 7 on the iPad have picture frame on the lock screen? Please answer?????????????????????
    Yes, unfortunately apple did get rid of picture frame with ios7 and a lot of people are complaining about it. Pretty annoying cos I like to use my iPad to display photos. Now we have to rely on third party apps.
    I've tried quite a few and found that Picmatic is the one I like the most, plus there's a free version. You can get it here: http://goo.gl/rLOU1
    Thank you for that update.
    I would next backup your device to iTunes with this article:
    And restore it first as a new device, and verify that it works properly, then restore from your backup with the same article below to ensure that it is still working.
  • All emails pushes to Iphone5 and the online iCloud, but certain e-mails won't push to iPad.
    Recently I did some switching around of my e-mails.  I have three Gmail accounts, forwarded to a fourth Gmail account.  This fourth Gmail account forwards all emails to Apple ID#1, and I have another Apple ID (ID#2), which I forward back to Apple ID#1.  So in essence, all 5 e-mail accounts gets forwarded to apple ID#1.
    A situation occurred to me this morning that concerns me.  I have an iPhone5, and the iCloud webpage up and running.  At this particular point in time I was using my iPad2, and noticed that my iPhone5 and the iCloud webpage on my Windows 7 Laptop received an e-mail, where it immeidatley made all sorts of chimes and bells annoucing the new e-mail.  I expected it to occur on my iPad where several minutes passed and still nothing.  So I opened the e-mal client on the iPad2 and and it immediately refreshed my email, and still nothing, but it did update an existing email that I had starred as VIP while in the online iCloud earlier.  I didn't delete the e-mail from any of the e-mail clients just to make sure it had time to push to each device.  I checked all settings on my iPad and this all worked like a charm before I went to bed last night.
    These are my personal and home business related emails, so I must get these to pay my bills.
    Q:   Is there a history of iCloud not pushing to some or all devices?
    Q:   Should I revert back to Gmail for more stability until Apple can get it together?
    Q:   Is there anything I can do to guarantee I get e-mails pushed to ALL my devices (iPhone5, iPad2, Online Based iCloud, and a 27" iMac (buying next week))?
    Having received an e-mail after this posting, it correctly pushed to all devices.
    Unfortunately, I got an expected e-mail from Craigslist to my primary Gmail account, which correctly forwarded to Apple ID#1, which correctly pushed to my iPad2, and to my iPhone5, but not to my online iCloud service on my Windows 7 Based Laptop.  As I write this, I'm still trying to refresh the page, and still, no e-mail.  There never is or becomes a record of it on the random device it won't push to, as I still don't have that e-mail on my iPad from this morning.
    Let me rephrase the questions into one question:
    Q:  Why am I not getting ALL e-mails to ALL devices ALL the time?  Instead I'm getting ALL e-mails to SOME devices (random to which one) ALL of the time?
    (I'm not yelling in CAPS, I'm just trying to point out the key words in my question.)
    If this keeps up, I'm going to have no choice but to revert back to Google, even when I buy my new iMac next week.  I print business cards for myself next week, and if I can't commit my e-mail address to apple 100%, I will have no other choice but to avoid Apple e-mail clients now, and in the future unless I want to change my address, which clients are reluctant to update as it is.  So as far as I see it, my address can never change once established.
  • Mail not showing up on lock screen
    Here is my scenario.
    When waking up in morning noticed that emails received during the night do not appear on lock screen. When going in to the iPhone I swiped down to see notification center and new emails were not there.  However once I opened mail, and it received emails, I was then able to see them in the notification center.  Should it not show the emails on the lock screen without opening mail program?
    BTW, I checked settings for Mail notification center and the following options were set.
    Notification Center: ON
    Alert Style: Banner
    Badge App Icon: ON
    Show Preview: ON
    View in Lock Screen: ON
    Thanks and I look forward to your reply.
    ...Bruce
    @razmee: Negative. the emails are arriving, (sound plays) but no notifications are showing up.
    I just fixed this: Force Mail out of memory in the app switcher. All notifications in mail now working!
    I've seen mail do odd things like this before. Be sure to let John Gruber know that sometimes you DO need to do this!
  • IPad 3 won't start up (broken screen aswell) and when restoring/updating gives errors 3194 or 4005
    Like the title says, I have an iPad 3 from a friend which has a broken screen and won't start up anymore. He is not sure whether it's just the screen or
    something else aswell. So I'm able to get it recognized by itunes if I put it in recovery/dfu mode. Then I try restoring it but I get the error 4005 most of the time.
    It has nothing to do with the solutions given when I search for error 4005 on google (like hosts file and stuff) because I can easily update my iPhone and my sisters' iPhone. With a program called TinyUmbrella I'm able to get it recognized in iTunes WITHOUT the ipad being in recovery mode, because the program has an option to kick it back out of recovery mode. Then I'm able to access the pictures and delete apps all that stuff in itunes/windows, but I still do not get anything on the screen. So then I tried updating to ios 7 because the iPad was still on ios 6.1.3 but then I get error 3194 which is kinda the same as 4005. Also tried restoring but that gave the same error.
    So now i'm unsure whether the iPad would work if I replace the screen, because it seems to function properly when I can kick it out of recovery with TinyUmbrella. But then I thought, even if I did replace the screen, I still wouldn't be able to update the OS or restore? I don't want to waste my money replacing the screen if it won't even work afterwards..
    Yes I tried different usb ports, yes I tried different cables, yes I tried the hosts file thing, I don't have an antivirus installed (only 'antivirus' I have is malware bytes, windows firewall is off, tried on a different computer, tried on a mac, ... I don't think this is the reason because my iPhone updates perfectly.
    I did notice though that when restoring when the iPad is in recovery that it would say "waiting for ipad" but then my windows pc says "usb device not recognized" , maybe this has something to do with it?
    Solutions please?
    Thanks in advance
    A PRRAM reset did the trick.
    This Mac mini is a refurbished one, so probably had some old settings from being connected to something different before.
    The TV now is recognized properly as 'Philips FTV'.
  • IPhone won't get past lock screen. Restart won't work.
    My phone was charging and I took it off the charger, my friend played around and did the color invert thing (where you press the home button 3 times). Now it won't get past the lock screen. When I try to put in my pass code it just puts boxes around the numbers but won't actually press it. I tried restarting it, it's currently plugged into my computer and nothing. It was really warm when I first noticed this. Help!
    It sounds like your friend also turned on VoiceOver, which speaks items on the screen as you touch them (and sounds like the Siri voice).  You will need to go to Settings>General>Accessibility>VoiceOver and turn it off.  However, with VoiceOver on the way you use the iPhone screen changes.  First, to scroll you will need to flick the screen with three fingers.  Next, to activate something on the screen you will need to first tap it once to select it, then double-tap it to activate it.  Example:  to open Settings, tap Settings once (the voice will say "settings"), then double-tap it again and it will open.  The specific steps are:
    Enter you lock code by tapping the first number once to select it, then double-tap it to enter it.  Repeat for the other numbers.
    Press Home.
    Tap Settings. Then double-tap Settings.
    Tap General. Then double-tap General.
    Use three fingers on the screen to scroll to Accessibility.
    Tap Accessibility. Then double-tap Accessibility.
    Tap VoiceOver. Then double-tap VoiceOver.
    Tap "On" next to VoiceOver. Then double-tap "On" to turn it off.
    To fix the inverted colors, go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn White on Black to Off.
  • Mail won't push
    I accidentally deleted my only email from my phone. Reinstalled it and everything seems to work as before except the "push" feature. Mail won't get pushed even though I have it set to do so from the settings, I have to manually retrieve it.
    Any idea as to why this is happening?
    You're welcome.
    The only way to have Push access for received messages with a Yahoo account is by creating the account with the Yahoo account preset with the iPhone's Mail app. Doing so creates the account as an IMAP account with Push access for received messages.
    The only accounts that support Push access for received messages with the iPhone's Mail app is a Yahoo account that is created with the Yahoo account preset, a MobileMe account, and an Exchange account.
  • E-mail notifications not showing on lock screen
    A  few days ago my e-mail notifications stopped showing up on my lock screen and the banners disappeared from when using my iphone too. I've already check the settings in the notification centre and they are set ok, just not working. What do I do?
    Try doing a reset on your iPhone,
    Reset your iPhone by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPhone will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
    Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.
    Good luck and do report back.
  • Messages won't show on lock screen or app icon
    My messages won't show on my lock screen and my messages app icon. Also it will say 'sending 1 of 10' or something like that when actually the messages send and delivered but it won't say that. Also sometimes when I go to open an app it won't open it at all. Just today on my messages that are open it got rid of everybody's name and it just shows the number. Also it's constantly saying I have no storage left! When actually I've deleted loads of apps since its been saying this yet the amount of storage I have is the same...which is none left. Ugh I'm so frustrated with it please someone help me
    I have seen an answer on a different page but the page that is recommended that you should go to has been removed from the website! Is there a reason for this?
  • IPad camera won't photograph microfiche reader screen
    I can't get my iPad camera to photograph images on the screen of a microfiche reader. Any ideas why -- maybe because the microfiche is backlit, messing up the exposure setting? Any ideas how I could do a workaround?
    TV screens, computer monitors and the like don't photograph well. Most microfiche readers I've used in libaries (I admit it's been a few years) have copy/print functions. Have you checked?
