IPad mini camera video playback all static?

HELP,Son has iPad Mini the first one ever out was recording a video (hasn't used function before only the photo part) when playing back what he has recorded sound is fine but picture looks like its slightly freeze framing or how things look when you are trying to watch of net on TV when it's buffing to catch up? I've turned it all off powered down etc?

Thanks, it helped. I can get the 3 functions now (photo, video, square) but it's a bit hit and miss. I'll keep playing about with it tomorrow. Getting square eyes now!

My mother just called and said when she is taking pictures they look overtly floresent and like an xray. I am 500 miles away from her and I cant provide a picture because well I don't want the headache.
Any idea what would cause this and in turn how to fix it?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Delete the music in your iTunes library, then go to iTunes store, Quick Link, 'Purchased' to redownload again.

My iPad mini keeps restarting randomly all the time, I already restored it to manufacturer settings, help! This started about a week ago, and I can't take it to Apple because I got this Christmas 2012. I already reset it all, and it still keeps restarting.

I had the same problem. I ended up restoring to the factory settings using the method:
1. connect usb to computer
2. hold down home button and connect cord to ipad...continue holding down home key until connect to itunes appears on screen, then release
3. restore to factory settings
I lost all my pictures and data, but the ipad works again. Such a pain! Not happy about this at all!

It's very possible that you did just as you suspect. One of the later Note file over wrote the one stored on your iPad when you synced.
When one does a sync of their iPad a backup of the iPad is created first. If that backup was still available you might be able to find the Note file there. But more than likely, if you are letting the iPad and iPhones sync on their own over Wi-Fi you have over written that back up as well.

How can I tell if my AT&T ipad mini came unlocked?

I know that some iPads were said to have shipped unlocked. I tried to go through AT&T's unlock request for my iPad Mini wifi & 3G and as soon as I put in the IMEI # and before I completed the request, a message came up saying it could not be unlocked at this time. I can't understand why that would be, as there is no long-term contract, I go month-to-month for 3G. I wonder if it is already unlocked, but don't know how to check. Does anyone know how to tell without actually going through the unlock procedure and getting the confirmation message that the unlock was successful?

In the UK, all iPhones bought direct from the online AppleStore in the last few years are sold unlocked and stay unlocked regardless of the SIM used.

Ipad mini retina video problem

I have an ipad mini retina 32 gig, and no videos will play (netflix, youtube, internet browser), but facebook videos will. Pictures will load perfectly but videos will not. On video screens like netflix a picture of the content loads but the video just buffers at a black screen until an error message occurs. I have tries resetting the ipad with the power and home screen buttons, reinstalling the apps, and reconfiguring wifi. This hasn't fixed it. Any suggestions?

Try this. Reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. You will not lose any data, but you will have to re enter all of the iPad preferred settings that you entered in the settings app.

I used to be able to watch videos (streamed) from various websites with no issue.
However, today, all the videos have audio but no image/video at all.
I've tried checking everything and even using different browsers and apps to watch the videos but to no avail.
It shows the quicktime logo, audio playing but just can't watch my videos.
I'm using iPad mini purchased less than a month ago. Software updated to latest. Please help!

Close all of the apps that you were using to watch the videos, then reboot the iPad. Try one app at a time. If it still doesn't work, try another app, but close the first app before moving on to the next app.

Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.

Hi all! I have found the answer in another forum and this has 100% worked for me!!!
1) Quit App Store in multi-tasking.
•From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
•Tap and hold on the app.
•When it starts to jiggle, tap the red ⛔ in the top corner to close it;
***Please close all open apps on your phone***
2) Tap Settings.
3) Tap Safari.
4) Tap Clear History.
5) Tap the Clear History button.
6) Tap Clear Cookies and Data.
7) Tap the Clear Cookies and Data button
