IPad Mini display shaking

The last couple of days the content of the display on my iPad Mini goes crazy after a period of use. On any screen things just move about wildly. Switching off cures it, but it starts again after a few minutes of use.
This is not the shaking one uses to delete apps, it is really weird. The display zooms, it pans, and if I shift from the app where it happens the same thing happens on any other app, as well as the home screen.
Does this make any sense? I'll try and video it next time it happens. I'm up to date on updates.

The standard troubleshooting steps in order are:
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
Restore: Connect your iPhone to iTunes on your computer, backup, and then select Restore to Factory
If these don't work you may have a hardware problem. If so, Apple Support: Contact Us

Force iPad into Recovery Mode (Step by Step)

Reboot your iPad and see if that lets it start up properly.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If this doesn't work, you may have to restore your iPad using iTunes on your computer.

Ipad mini displays no sim card

Out of the blue my ipad mini displays no sim card. Does anyone else have this problem and how can I fix it? I can get it to work if I restart my ipad but that is a pain and why all of a sudden did it start doing this?

Try first take out ur sim card and put back on again hope this sort it out,no idea why this happen.

Bought an iPad mini not long ago and the display suddenly went "black", there is absolutely no brightness in the display rendering it useless. I can make out the icons when i sit down in the dark and i can see the back lighting is set to max. I live in denmark and we have no apple store, its still in the warranty period, but where do i take it for repair? Can it be a software bug? I want to fix the problem fast. When i sit in absolute darkness with the wall plug connected I can see one backlight lighting up from the buttom right corner where the speaker is.

Assuming that you have a credit card in the UK, with a valid billing address for that credit card that matches the credit card statement ....
Launch the app store app. Go to the Featured Tab. Swipe to the bottom of the screen. Your ID is accessible in the lower left corner. Tap on the ID. Then tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go down to Country/Region and change the store to the UK in there.

IPad Mini Display + Power Button Malfunctioning

HI I just got an iPad Mini (1st generation) two days ago and it was workig fine until today when I was clearing some app data in my settings, then the screen went out. I tried holding the power button to get it back, but it wouldn't work. However, I held in the home button on the bottom, and Siri still worked but I searched for something on the voice command and I couldn't bring up what it found because the display is still out. Can someone please send me options on possible ways to get the display back? Thank you

I have noticed this same exact thing with my iPad mini with Retina display. I notice it on YouTube, but it does it for only some videos consistently. there is this game called "Don't Starve" that I watch lots of let's plays for on YouTube, and the game has an over all sepia tone to it. Whenever I first start the video, some of the colors look off, but it fades sort of to where it should be. I pinch the video closed and everything looks off *outside* of the video, like there is no contrast, but it then kind of fades back to normal. Sort of weird, not exactly sure whether it is a display problem, or if it is a kind of auto adjustment feature... I notice it NOWHERE but videos. It doesn't really bug me, and I don't mind the screen fading back to where it should be after a video, (because at least the colors do go back to normal, rather than staying washed out!) but at the same time, it does concern me because I am unsure whether this is a software feature to enhance colors in video, or if it is a display problem. I have heard the retina mini does have image retention problems (for some devices only), which means that if a particular image is left on the screen for a long time, and then it suddenly changes, you can see an after effect of the previous image for a bit, which is a screen defect. Also, the iPad mini with retina display does have a lesser color gamut than other apple devices, seen easiest when comparing it with the iPad Air, it even can be seen when comparing to an iPad 3rd generation, or iPad 4th generation. I have observed this between my iPad mini with retina and the iPod touch 5th gen, iPhone 5, and this would also be seen between the iPad mini with retina and iPhone 5S, because the iPhone 5S uses the same screen as the iPhone 5.

IPad Mini displaying unknown screen.

iPad Mini, purchased in 2012. It was running IOS 8.1.2. Downloaded update to 8.1.3 and after the restart, the below screen is showing and the iPad can't be accessed.
Tried shutdown and restart - no change. Tried reset (shutdown and home buttons) - same.
Is there any way to get past this without hooking the iPad to a computer (I won't bore you with the details why this isn't possible at this time)?

Mac -or- PC with iTunes installed. I personally use the Mac for syncing but I have Windows machines as well (not used for iTunes/iDevices). Either will work as long as the correct version of iTunes is installed (I have no clue what this version would be since I'm always current).

Ipad mini displays low storage?

My ipad mini shows 11.1 gb storage used, but reviewing the stored list only shows less than 4 gb used. Where is the rest of my storage?

Ok so looked into it further. "Other" is definitely the problem. This is my son's iPad mini, we've deleted almost everything but other had almost 9 gigs. I'm sure Minecraft is probably the culprit. Only problem is he doesn't remember his password to log back on if we re-install it, also he doesn't know which email address he used to retrieve a forgotten password. So right now he's doing some hard thinking about starting over.

IPad mini display just started flickering

--it seems as if it is registering phantom input. The keyboard pops up randomly along with the search bar, and screens minimize without physical input. Also, somtimes it also will not register physical input. The flickering seems to keep it from registering basic touch/tap input, however, there is no problem when it comes to longer swipe movements?
Updated to latest OS after it started flickering and backed everything up (no problems--computer registered it and had no errors in updating/transfering info), but it didn't reduce or remove the problem.

If you restored your iPad and that didn't fix it, I wouldn't expect the reset to work anyway, but it never hurts to try. If you have gone through all of the work of restoring as new and the screen still flickers and you have input issues, make an appontment at an Apple Store and let them evaluate the device.

Using certain screen protectors may result in irreparable damage that will not be covered by Apple's warranty.

Since loading IOS 7.0.4, the images and letters/words on my ipad Mini are fuzzy and less clear. It appears the revised IOS has created this degradation to clarity and sharpness. Anyone else seeing this problem?

I found adjusting the size, boldness and contrast settings on the iPad mini were very helpful.

Large, bold, and high-contrast text
Display larger text in apps such as Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, and Notes. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Larger Type, where you can turn on Larger Dynamic Type and adjust the font size.
Display bolder text for items on iPad. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn on Bold Text.
Increase the contrast of text where possible. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn on Increase Contrast.

It's just been one year and 7 days only since i bought my iPad,i.e, just 7 days out of warranty period only.I don't find any fault with the hardware neither no physical damage is there. Need help to sort out this issue.
