IPad mini help
I plugged my mini iPad in last night and now it will not turn on. It was working when I plugged it in. I tried to reset holding down the two buttons as advised. Please help.

Video deleted from iPad mini - help, please
I took a video on an iPad mini, which was then deleted by accident. It was not backed up on the Cloud or iTunes. My understanding is that only a data recovery software will help me retrieve that video...but which one do I trust? Is there one that does not cost an arm and a leg? I appreciate any help.

Have just bought a new printer with AirPrint capability. My iPad finds the printer each time and prints successfully.
However, my son's iPad mini seems unable to find the printer.
I have checked that all three devices are using the same network etc and all seems ok.
Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone help please.
The printer was bought to enable my son to do his homework from his iPad mini.
many thanks.If it is only a month old and this keeps occurring, I would return it to wherever you bought it and show the retailer what it is doing. Even if you can get it up and running now, I wouldn't trust it to keep working. Take it back and have it evaluated.

Ipad Mini help for University lectures?
I know I can use iPad mini with a digital projector through the VGA Adaptor, but how then can I use a remote device to change the slides being shown? I need this as it is a big lecture theatre I lecture in? I do have an iPhone Any help much appreciated...
Thank you guys...I will try the Keynote Remote App sounds good to me......RestlessFool thank you too but the cost of AppleTV seems a lot just for lectures...when the cable already costs £39.00...ridiculous prices if you ask me...no wonder every colleague of mine uses PC !!!! I will try to remain faithfull to Apple though....hopefully Keynote Remote will work....hope so ....

TS3899 A new ipad mini - help with receiving emails
A newly bought ipad mini. Installed all e-mail accounts successfully [yahoo, gmail & icloud] all working fine, Then we took the ipad a holiday in Europe.
We were able to send and receive emails for 3 days then suddenly they stopped working. No gmails e-mails received on ipad since.
Emails were also syncd with ipod, and and emails were recieved on it at same hotel earlier in the year. Emails have stopped to ipod too.settings- mail, contacts, and calendars- click gmail- scroll to bottom and delete account

I'm going to guess videos buffer for a while also...
Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow. -
My iPad mini retina display wifi 16 GB is showing blank white display and is like frozen. I can't shut it down or restart. It was working perfectly till 13/4/2015 night and next day morning it showing this problem.There is no physical damage to my iPad and is in perfect good condition. I updated the latest OS 8.3 version 3 days before this issue happened. I took it to the apple authorised service centre but to my shock they told the display and unit has to be replaced which will cost me Rs.15000/-. It's just been one year and 7 days only since i bought my iPad,i.e, just 7 days out of warranty period only.I don't find any fault with the hardware neither no physical damage is there. Need help to sort out this issue.

My iPad mini is working on its own even I'm not touching it. It's even changing from one apps to the other without my control! And type on its own!! I tried to reset all contents setting many times but it does not fixed the problem. Please help me!
Erasing the device doesn't do any good if there is a problem with the iOS software. That merely removes the contents and settings from the iPad. You need to restore to factory settings and restore the iOS.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Today I bought a brand new iPad mini 2, 32 gb. First, I backed up my old ipad mini to my hard drive. Then, I updated iTunes to the newest version. Then, I plugged in the new iPad mini, went through the set up, iTunes was working fine. I registered the iPad, then it suggested i update the iOS on the iPad. This is where things went south. After a few minutes, it stated "cannot update iOS 7 at this time" or something to that effect. Since that point, iTunes will not recognize the iPad. The iPad shows the "connect to iTunes" screen. When I plug it in, I hear the tone suggesting a new device is connected, but nothing happens. I've tried it in DFU mode, no results. I've tried putting it in recovery mode, nothing happens, just the same screen. I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, following every step suggested through this site/apple support. I even uninstalled and installed an older version of iTunes (10.7) but same result. I've followed all troubleshooting steps, and nothing is working, so please don't suggest the same olf "iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows" page.
What should I do? Do I have to take this to the geniuses at the store? Will they even be able to help without having access to my computer?iPad not appearing in iTunes
