Ipad mini movies download site

Is there a site i can download movies for free directly to the ipad mini already formatted correctly.

Not websites. But there are some apps that allow you to download free movies to watch on the device. The movies will expire after a certain amount of time, but depending on the app, you can get the movies for quite some time and watch them over and over again if you like.
But these apps only work if you have a subscription to the service. I have the Xfinity Play App from Comcast. As a Comcast Cable TV subscriber, I can download movies to my iPad - without any additional charges - and then watch them at my leisure.

Describe the problem. Won't show videos? Won't take videos? Or other?
Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

my iPad mini cannot download books from iTunes - help

    Hi, debikay45.
Test to see if you can download a free application from the App Store.  If this was successful, test downloading the book again.  Try closing all open applications and power cycling the device, test the results.  Make sure you have an active Internet connection.  If these results were unsuccessful, see the steps in the article below that refer to iOS.
Isolate the issue: (Mac OS X, Windows, iOS)
Make sure the issue is with the iTunes Store only. (You need an Internet connection to access the iTunes Store).Open a secure website to test if you are online as is necessary for the iTunes Store. This also tests if the main ports 80 and 443 are accessible. If the website works but the iTunes Store does not, it is most likely a firewall blocking the iTunes software or servers. If this is the case, follow the steps in the "Blocked by software firewall" section below.
Test using another device. If possible, another device, ideally on a different network, would help troubleshooting any iTunes Store issues most efficiently. If another device on another network has issues, the iTunes Store may be undergoing maintenance, and will be available soon.
    Test using another network.
Connect your computer or device to another network and testing helps determine the next step. This is also helpful if multiple devices are affected.
If your device can connect to Wi-Fi and a cellular network, larger downloads may not be possible over the cellular network.
If the issue disappears while connected to another network, you may need to work with your support options to open access to:
    itunes.apple.com
    ax.itunes.apple.com
    ax.init.itunes.apple.com
    albert.apple.com
    gs.apple.com
    ax.phobos.apple.com.edgesuite.net
    mzstatic.com
Note: iTunes may use the fully qualified version of these addresses for additional security.
iTunes uses well known ports and these ports may need to be opened for iTunes: 80, 443, 3689, 5297, 5298, 5353, 8000-8999, and 42000-42999.
It is critical that your date, time, and time zone be correct:Windows:
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
Click "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options" and then click Date and Time.
Click the Date & Time tab.
Make sure that the date and time settings are configured to use the current date and time and then click OK.
    Mac OS X:
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
In System Preferences, click Date & Time.
Enable the option to "Set date and time automatically" if it is not.
Click the Time Zone tab and adjust the time zone to match your current location.
    iOS:
From the home screen, tap Settings > General > Date & Time.
If the option exists, turn off Set Automatically.
Verify the time zone and time (in the status bar) are correct for where you are currently.
If not, adjust the incorrect setting accordingly.
If everything was correct and the option exists, turn on Set Automatically.
Remove any restrictions that may be causing the issue:
    Windows:
It is recommended you use iTunes from an administrator account.
Refer to the Help documentation from Microsoft, contact your IT department, or visitsupport.microsoft.com for more information.
You can also check using iTunes Diagnostics if you are recognized as an administrator by iTunes.
    Mac OS X:
It is recommended you use iTunes from an administrator account. To become an administrator account, from the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
    In System Preferences, click Accounts.
You may need to unlock the lock in the bottom-left corner of the window to make changes. If you can unlock the lock, you are already an admin user.
Under the account you are using, it may say "Standard." Enable the option to "Allow user to administer this computer" to make the user an admin account user.
From the Apple () menu, choose Log Out.
Log back in and return to using iTunes. Test to see if the issue is resolved.
iOS: Restrictions can limit your ability to purchase some content. Check restrictions via Settings> General > Restrictions if you're unsure about those settings.
After isolating the issue to iTunes by following the above steps:
If the issue still occurs and iTunes displays an alert message with a specific code, please see the section below titled "Specific Conditions and Alert Messages" for additional troubleshooting steps.
If the issue is still not resolved and there is no specific code or alert message, you can visit the iTunes Store Discussion Board to try to find additional information for help resolving your issue:
You can also contact AppleCare to discuss your support options. Depending on your product’s coverage status, you may need to pay for support.
    iTunes Store Discussion Board (Mac)
    iTunes Store Discussion Board (Windows)
New routers or a new Internet Service Provider (ISP) may limit your ability to connect to iTunes Store. Let your router manufacturer or your ISP know about the ports and servers in this article and confirm that they are compatible.

  • Ipad mini itunes download starts and fails

    Hi,
We just got an Ipad mini for christmas. Everything was working fine until we wanted to sync the ipad with itunes on our pc.
The applications and photos  are synchronizing properly. However, the music and video are not.
I search the web and the community and there are few thread talking about it but nothing works.
I have install itunes 11 and the same problem occurs.I have also enough space on my ipad to store all my music. This works well with my itouch.
I also notice something else. On my ipad, i can go download from the itunes apps what we proviously bought. When i click to redownload, the download starts
and when it reachs 100%, i get that an error occured and to try to donwload again.
    Can anyone help us?

    Hi all,
I found the problem. I had an idea to check if there is an application on the app store to view the ipad mini logs. I search "log system" and installed the application System Console, which is free.
I tried again to download stuff from itunes and check the logs. I had the following error:
2013-01-24 01:58:11 +0000 itunesstored SELECT item.ROWID FROM item JOIN item_stats USING (item_pid) WHERE (item_stats.download_identifier = ?) could unexpectedly not be stepped after 0: 11/database disk image is malformed
I searched on the web about this problem and it did not provided me answers. Most of them were talking about their application having a database disk image malformed. I though it could be the itunes application itself that could be the problem.
I tried a reset all settings and data from the ipad mini and reconfigured it. It worked properly.
I hope this help somebody else.
    Cheers!

  • Ipad mini auto download apps without my knowledge

Why I getting apps download even though I didn't go apps store and download any apps on my ipad mini.?

I think the problem is IOS 6. a 12mb app take like 2hours to download on my ipad mini. so I went on my ipad 2 and download the same 12MB app and only take like a few seconds.
I also try to download different apps ranging from 500MB and same thing happen on ipad mini. My guess is somehow IOS 6 is the cause of this issue. on IOS 5.0.1 everything is super fast on my high speed connection. Speedtest show no problem with ISP. Hope they will fix this issue

  • My ipad mini wont download from my purchased items?

My Ipad mini will not download any of my songs or films from my purchased items via itunes - is anyone else having the same issues?

Can you download anything at all? New songs, new apps?
    Try the basics.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button..
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.
If none of that works - You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If you still can't download from the purchase tab, I think it's time to restore.

  • Good Movie Downloading Site?

i need a reliable way to download entire movies, any suggestions?

well, there are many ilegal ways of doing that, but i wouldn't even suggest any of those (since they are illegal and i don't do them). You can just do a search on google for "full movie downloads", and you will find a site that will let you do that for either a monthly fee, or just a one time fee.

  • HT204266 iPad mini - Automatic Downloads

I have iPad mini and iOS is 7.1. I'm facing serious problem with automatic downloads of apps. Despite of disabling / deactivating auto downloads from Settings > iTunes & App Store, problems persists. Please advise / suggest.

It's hard to answer you because you only say "problems persists" and have not told us exactly what the problems are.
But my guess is you are affected by background app refresh, and not automatic downloads.  Try Settings > General> Background App Refresh = "Off"

  • IPad mini movies

I have movies downloaded from the iTunes Store and every few seconds they pause so I have to hit play continuously. How do I fix this?

    Here's the full monty...
    Standard troubleshooting...
    1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider.  Slide to power off.  Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
    2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
    3. Remove apps from Recently Used list...
    - From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
    - Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
    - Press the home button when done.
    4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
    5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
    6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

  • Movie download sites

    I'm a newbie...
I want to start downloading movies and tv shows but I'm petrified about which sites to trust. I tried a site one time which I paid for, however this proved to be a link to Limewire!
I was told that to download movies to Apple I needed to have the DivX codec (which is now available for Mac). I've downloaded the 15 day free trial...
I'm wondering where other Apple users are going for downloading and if the DivX codec info I got is true (ie. should I buy the pack/bundle)?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

    Hi Tiz,
Yes, it's disappointing, but there's a reason. You see, on OS X, there is no open DRM scheme for companies to use to protect online videos. Apple will not license FairPlay and Microsoft's Windows Media DRM (by far the most popular on the internet) is not supported by Flip4Mac.
There is hope - however. Microsoft's "Silverlight" platform will fully support OS X (at least at runtime; development will be Windows-only). Large companies like Blockbuster, Amazon, and NetFlix may use that platform to provide universal access to videos.
There are other DRM solutions for OS X, but none that are currently licensed by the large companies you're looking at. Those guys are, sadly, still very much centered on Windows.

  • TS1424 ipad: Rental movie downloaded 98%.. "unable to download movie" error

    Good Afternoon,
I purchased a rental movie to watch on a plane ride today.  Unfortunately the movie hadn't finished downloading before I left the house.  I've tried 3 or 4 different internet connections (including verified very fast connections at the hotel and starbucks) and I get the "unable to download movie" error.
I can't find a way to delete the rental to try and start the download over, nor does syncing help.  Please assist!
    thank you,

  • HT3281 on ipad ,itunes movies download but will not open

can't get downloaded itune movies to open.any tips?

I have three computers that are practicably clones of each other and the new itunes update failed on two of them but one worrked fine. Here is fix that worked for me. This fix was suggested by another member but I cannot recall or find his post. My system is WinXP sp3 with all the latest patches.
    1. Download AirPort Utility 5.5.1 for Windows http://support.apple.com/downloads/
    2. Open task Manager and stop the mdnsresponder process. The corrupted mdnsresponder will be using 50% of your cpu.
    3. Open control panel / add remove programs. Find the bonjour app and click on it.
    4. Note the corrupted version of bonjour 2.0.0.34 by clicking on the support link.
    5. Uninstall bonjour
    6. Restart Windows.
    7. Install the AirPort Utility. This will install a good working version of mdnsresponder. Restart windows again.
    8. Upon restart you will see a new the airport icon in your task tray. You can also find mdnsresponder.exe running under process in task manger with little or no cpu usage. Your bonjour app under add remove panel will now be version 1.0.106
