Ipad mini online purchase with gift card option.

I had bought an iPad mini from the online store recently. I had also put a gift message during the purchase, but when upon receiving the iPad mini, there is no any gift card attached. Kind of disappointed as there is no surprises by then.

Call the Apple Store and discuss the issue with them. We're mostly just fellow users here, and no one from the Apple Store participates in the forums.

Cannot play songs purchased with gift card (on my iPod on)

I just purchased the King Kong soundtrack on iTunes with a gift card I received for Christmas. I downloaded the songs onto my laptop and transferred them to my iPod (video, 60 GB). When I try to play the songs on my iPod, they will just be skipped over to the next track. (I can play them off my iPod when it's attached to my laptop, or my G4 tower at home, which is also Authorized).
I've purchased other songs with my account in the past and they play fine. I checked the song info. in iTunes and the account information is identical to the other purchases. The only difference seems to be these were purchased with the gift card (which the file info. doesn't indicate).
What do I need to do? Thank you brilliant folks out there.

Alas, did not work. Tried playing a few songs in iTunes, copied those songs over to the iPod, no dice.
I manually manage my songs on iPod, so I'm hesitant to just auto-sync and see if that would solve it, but I may try that if nothing else works...

My credit card linked to my itunes account. I want to purchase some songs but want to use my gift card and not my credit card. Is there an option to use an alternative source for payment?

The gift card will automatically be used first unless you're purchasing a gift for someone else, which can only be paid for from the credit card.

I am trying to purchase apps for a iPad mini from a iTunes gift card. When I try to complete the purchase it ask me two security questions that I do not know. I try to reset the security questions, but it is sending the email to another address

Trying to change my security questions - to purchase apps - cannot reset questions - as it does not have my correct email address on reset security. Help - how can I get correct password on security to reset.

Can you buy from iTunes with gift cards rather than use a credit card?

I have given my 17 year old nephew an ipod for his birthday and as he doesn't have a credit card can he use gift cards to buy from the iTunes store without one? Do you have to have a credit card to open an iTunes account? I wanted to give him a gift card to start him off with the iPod as he doesn't have many cd's to load on to it.

Yes, he can create an account and make purchases with gift card.
When he gets the gift card, have him open the iTunes store and click on Redeem at the top right under *Quick links*.
Input the card number then select *Create new account*.
Input the personal info and when it gets to credit card info, select None.

Setting up two iPod Touches on one account with gift cards for app and in-app purchases

I have multiple devices on one account - 2 iPod classics, one iPhone 3G and two recently acquired iPod Touches for my 8 year old boys. They want to make in-app purchases (for Dragonville). They each have their own gamecenter ID. I want to set up each of them with gift cards for their purchases. Is this possible?
If not, what is the recommended approach to manage all devices in one place while allowing individual devices to have a seperate payment mechanism?

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old

Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.
To make sure you only sync the media yoo want, configure iTunes syncing so that only checked media is synced to the idevices.

Purchasing from inside app, no gift card option even though i just charged $50 to my account?

When I was trying to buy stuff from inside a game app, there was only credit options and no gift card option even though my itunes balance should be at $50 since i just charged from a gift card. Anyone know how i can use my credit on my account to buy stuff inside the game?

If you have a credit card entered, you need to confirm the payment information. Once you do that, the iTunes Store should then charge your credit balance for purchase until that balance is used up.
If you do not have a credit card entered at all, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I bought a ipad mini online from the apple store. His battery doesn't last more than 6h. I return it back to them they send me a new one, but the problem is same. Battery doesn't last more than 5-6h!

I have purchased a iPad mini online from the Apple store. Since day one I had 2 issues with it. First is that the battery life doesn't last more than 5-6h active usage, and the second one is with the wi-fi. It works properly but after I leave it for a while in sleep mode and try to reuse it, it doesn't want to open a web page or app store or mail (anything connected with the internet search) but it shows that is properly connected with my home network. So I have to turn off the wi-fi connection and turn it on again so it start to work properly. After couple off days this becomed very annoying so I contacted the support via phone and they gave me instructions for return it and that I'll receive a new one without aditional fee. I get the second device in the predicted time but again I have the same issues with the wi-fi and battery life. I will be pleased if someone from the Apple expert team explaine to me what should I do, because I dont find it for normal what is happening. On the Apple official site under the specifications for iPad mini it says that the battery lasts for at least 10h and the wi-fi problem isn't mentioned anywhere. Thanks in advance.

If you want someone from Apple to explain what you should do make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one near you and take your iPad there and talk to Apple. If no Apple store is close enough then call Apple to find out what your alternatives are. There is a Contact Info link at the bottom of every page in this forum.
