Ipad mini pre-order Time?

Hi,
I understand the Apple is stating the iPad Mini pre-orders on the 26th of october.
Does that mean, at midnight the Apple store will start taking orders ?
Really curious to know, as I'm overseas returning to SG on monday and I want to submit my pre-order asap.

According to this: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipad, pre-orders start October 26.
No time is given when they will start taking pre-orders though.

Pre-order delivery dates are depenant on supply chain and carrier schedules. If that is the date Apple has given you for delivery, then yes, you should, but it isn't an absolute guarantee.

Yes, it will now always show that you purchased it, but with it deleted from ipad, when yu click the icon to download again, it will download the latest versioon available from the app store.
You cannot delete what is in the app store. nor can you erase your previous history of purchasing the app.

If you had iOS 7 BETA installed, just go to developer.apple.com and log in using your developer account. There are discussions about this issue. Otherwise... for non-developers, I'm afraid you're on your on. Use Google.

My new iPad Mini seems to time-out the WiFi connection?

I've had an iPad One for a year or two and recently bought iPad Minis for myself and the SO. It's happened quite a few times now that I can be using the WiFi connection, and set the iPad aside for a few minutes, and when I come-back to it the WiFi connection is gone (the icon goes away at the top-left of the screen). I have to then go to Settings Wifi and select my connection again. I don't recall this ever happening with the iPad 1.
I don't see any specific setting for "turn-off WiFi after x minutes" or whatnot and wonder why the iPad is dropping signal (a very strong signal, a very fast connection in my house). Is there a setting some where that says "turn off WiFi", for example after X minutes to save power or something?
This is a real annoyance cuz I can be reading an article online and then when I come-back to it I see "no Internet connection" and I have to go to Settings again to re-select my SSID.

Try #5.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

How do I get iPad mini to see Time Capsule?

I just bought an iPad mini. I am trying to get it to connect to my Time Capsule. My laptop sees the Time Capsule. My iPad sees my Time Capsule. My iPad mini says No Air Port base stations found. Air Port Utility will keep searching.

Want to know if i could bring the ipad i pre-ordered from a retailer for engraving in any nearby apple center

is there anyone who knows if i can take my pre-ordered ipad to apple center for engraving - the retailer doesn't offer this free service... but it was too late when i saw it online.

As neat as an engraved pad would be, for the first couple of hours, unless you are nuts, you will park it in a full case, and never see the engraving. Until you take it out of the case to sell it to get the new one, and realize it is worth less because of the engraving. Maybe your subconscious made a better choice for you.....

IPad 2 pre-order.

I called 3 of my local stores in MD. Columbia and others.
On march 12th, customer can pay 100 dollars deposit to pre-order iPad 2. -Best buy corporate website-
Three of those stores said like... no.
Some one at corporate office needs to call my three stores and find out. If you guys are taking pre-orders, and somehow these reps just did not tell me the right information. I would be angry.

The Best Buy I went to in Staten Island, NY took my pre-order (after going through three managers - luckily that just meant I was the first person on the list), but note that not all stores are taking it. They may be reserving this for high traffic areas, NY, LA, etc. Since there seemed to be ample supply at several small market stores but nowhere near enough in the big metro areas. Just my two cents though.

Hi I just wanted to know what time do preorders start for the iPhone 4. not in store but online, I am in eastern time so what time does it start?

This has been asked about a hundred times already if you had tried the search box on the right.
Pre-ordering usually starts during normal business hours.

In the past has iphone pre-orders start at 1200AM on day it available to pre-order? as in it be there to pre-order from 1200am us? OR 12AM on day depending on your country? example me being aus would it be there to preorder 12am my time or 12am US time?

Apple hasn't announced. The iP4S preoder was rumored to start 12:00 AM Pacific Daylight Savings time (Cupertino time) but actually was not available until several hours later. It will start when it starts - don't expect any announcement.

Does my iPad mini have quick time already?

I wanted to watch a product video from a web site but it said I had to download either Quick time or Windows media player before I could watch their videos. I've watched other videos on other web sites so I don't see the problem. Any advice?

Your iPad already has software to play QuickTime movies, yes. Either the movie you wish to play is in a QuickTime format your iPad can't handle, or the web site is coded such that it's not recognizing the iPad correctly. I'd wager the latter is correct; the coding is looking for the browser codec and is not set up correctly for other devices.
