Ipad mini problem typing

Every time I try trying an email my ipad mini is not reacting to my touch. It leaves letters out as I type so I need to keep correcting the typing. It changes the words because it thinks I misspelled the word when actually it's just because its not reacting to my touch correctly and so it leaves off letters. Is anyone else having this problem?

I know it's not an auto correct issue.its the keypad not reacting correctly to my touch, leaving letters and spaces out of the word I'm typing. These missing letters is what makes the autocorrect change the word iI trying to type . Si I'm trying to fugue how to either make my ipad mini more sensitive to the touch or correct what ever is causing my minitonot react to my touch. I spend more time correcting my emails before I send them then I do actually typing the because of this issue.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. You may have to do this several times.
    Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school environment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
  • Help ipad mini problem
    My daughter just got a 32mg ipad mini and is unable to watch a tv show she bought.  She pushes play and the show starts but then immediately stops and won't play. I thought that if she bought a show from itunes then she would be able to watch it anywhere even without a wifi connection.  Thanks.
    it's working now...I think the problem was that she was trying to watch the show while she was downloading two apps.
  • Ipad mini - problems with updating
    Hi - my ipad mini wont update apps, software or cloud.  It keeps timing out before completing.  Can anyone advise how to fix this? Thanks
    I'll give it a try and see if it solves the problem.
    Yes, I've got too much time on my hands.  I didn't buy any of those $32M, I earned it all racing.  Represents a lot of time on all the tracks and I don't seem to get tired of racing.  I just wish the Firemonkeys were more generous with their game $ and gold helmets.
  • Ipad mini problem with wifi after update 6.1.3
    Hello!
    My ipad mini was working fine before the 6.1.3 upgrade, immediately after updating, the wifi stopped working. Restore the iPad to its factory settings as deleting both my data and to reintroduce the network, was still not working.
    Help please!
    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Some other things to try:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button
  • Lightning to SD Card adaptor iPad Mini problem
    Hi!
    I have recently bought an SD card adaptor (original) to use with my standard SD cards (4-32GBs). The photos on the memory cards are taken with my Nikon D7000 and then directly put into the adaptor for the iPad. I know that it´s supposed to pop up the camera page so that you can import the new photos. but nothing happens. at all. I´ve tried to disconnect the adaptor waited, same with the memory card, still nothing. Everything on the iPad is updated.
    Really need some advice.
    Thanks
    Martin
    Hi
    I am using lightning to SD card reader on my iPad mini with iOS 7.
    Mine still works, and is surely genuine as I purchased from Apple retail store in Australia however, the reader is now extraordinarily slow to load image previews from the card. Where this was previously near instantaneous on iOS 6, the image previews take 1-2secs to load EACH which is completely ridiculous.
    Very frustrating!!!
    Apple please fix this.
  • Ipad mini problem showing all videos
    I am using an Ipad mini and upgraded to the new iOS7 a few weeks back.  When I did that I noticed among other things that all of my iCloud videos were showing up in my video app allowing me to either download or watch directly from that app (rather than going to the iTunes Store apps Purchased section and getting it there).  I loved this new feature but for unrelated reasons I had to restore my Ipad and it will no longer show those items.  I went to the "Settings -> Videos -> Show all videos" option and it is in the "on" position but still wont show the movies.
    I have tried re-syncing with computer and hard restarting the Ipad to no avail.  Any help would be appreciated.
