IPad mini screen remains blank.

Hi,
I have had my mini for about a year now and just ran into a problem where an app I was using started to freeze. Closed the app and deleted it. My mini started acting weird then out of no where the screen went blank as if it died. I charged it, I even have sound when I connect it to the power cord, even sound when receiving FaceTime calls but have to answer on my iPhone to view anything. I've tried resetting it by holding the buttons but nothing seems to work.
Please help

This is absolutely not related to any website you visited or to a virus. (There is no known malware capable of infecting an iPad that has not been jailbroken.)
What it honestly sounds like is a hardware problem. You need to contact Apple for assistance. If the device is less than a year old, it's within the original warranty period. If you got AppleCare, it should still be covered by that.

Go into Settings > General > International > Language and choose British English, then hit the Done button. The screen will go black with a comment about Language Settings. Be Patient, especially if you have a lot of apps. Let it run it's course and Then open the App Store again. Voila! Upgrade list is back. And it stuck when i changed back to plain English. He doesn't know why. I don't either. But I am now a happy camper. Worked on my 3rd gen iPad and iPad Mini.

A section of my brand new iPad minis screen keeps going blank, black or extremely pixelated though the screen sensor still works in that area. It used to come and go but currently it seems to be permanent. What to do????

Doesn't matter where you bought it, it's still covered by Apple's 1-year warranty.

IS there any product I can buy to repair a small scratch on my iPad mini screen?

You can either put a screen protector over it and ignore it, pay the $219+ for an out of warranty replacement or if you have apple care plus, cash in one of your $49 dollar accidental damage events and get a replacement.

In windows 7, click on your start menu, go to accessories, right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator". Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer.

I lent on my ipad mini screen in the bottom corner and now there are loads of vertical and horizontal lines on the screen which block the view. Would this be an LCD replacement or external glass replacement. Does anyone have any experience of this and how did they fix the ipad.

My IPad mini screen will not unlock. It was fine one minute and the next, I couldn't slide it to unlock it.

Does anything happen when you touch the screen, the slider doesn't get a box around it (which would indicate VoiceOver being 'on') ?
If not then have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

If there is no evidence of abuse, these are the charges. If there is evidence of abuse, Apple will return your damaged unit to you.

If you have done all of the above i would call Apple care or setup an appointment at a Apple Store for them to diagnose and replace.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.
