Ipad mini space gray or silver?

I really don't know what kind of Ipad mini I am going buy. Space gray is ok for me and so is the silver color. I dont know what kind of color will hide the scratches, dirt, dust and grime. So what color is good and okay??

I'd go with the silver but either color is OK. More important get the black bezel, it frames the screen better and goes good with the silver.

I Cleared room on my iPad Mini for the iOS 8 install, downloaded the installer and started he install. Device restarted rather quickly after turning off for install, did not update. When I went back to Software Update to try again, it says I need to redownload the installer and I now am using the ~1GB of space taken up by the original install file and need to clear that much space. Any way to either get my iPad to recognize the install files or delete it so I can try again?

Hooked it up to iTunes to update. The first time I tried, an error popped up that said there was an error with the firmware, so I reset my iPad Mini and tried again. This time it updated fine, no errors. Thanks for the help. Also, the original update file is now deleted. Because I have that space back.

IPad Air 128GB Verizon in Space Gray?

I am looking to purchase the iPad Air with WiFi and Cellular 128GB model in Space Grey for Verizon. When perusing the BestBuy.com site, there is no listing for this model. There is one for the Silver color. When I specify Verizon products, there is a listing for the 128GB model in Silver for AT&T (SKU: 8884204). On the webpage for this model, the Verizon logo is there (although the title still says AT&T) and states "also available in Silver." Is this an error? For the 128GB Silver AT&T model, the SKU is 8884268.

Yes, I know how much it sucks when the items we really want aren't availiable. I have been following the various tech news sites and it just seems like there is a shortage all around for the cellular high capacity iPads. Not sure why it lists the space gray version as silver though.
One solution might be getting a non-cellular iPad but getting a mobile broadband so you can still use it anywhere. Right now there are some specials going for those devices where you can get the mobile broadband free. And you can use it for multible devices not just the iPad.

ICloud storage space used up by old data from 1st gen iPad I traded in nearly 2 yrs ago for an iPad Mini. Can't backup any info for mini or new 6 plus. How can I access this old data to clear it out?

My iCoud storage space is being used up by old data from a 1st generation iPad I traded in nearly 2 yrs ago for an iPad Mini. The people at the sprint store where I made my trade were supposed to transfer everything over from my old iPad to the new Mini once they backed up the old device to iCloud. Well, long story short, none of the data ever got transferred to the new iPad, but it all got backed to iCloud, eating up all my storage space. Here I am almost 2 years later, and I've never been able to back-up my iPad mini. What's worse, My iPhone 4 wasn't backed up that whole time, and now I can't back-up my data from my new iPhone 6 Plus to iCloud either. Trying to find creative ways to store and save my information and data between all my devices is getting to be ridiculous. I don't want to upgrade my storage space though...just want to clear out a great deal of what is already being stored. How can I access this old data to clear it out?

The only way to access data from an iCloud backup is to restore it to your device. You could, for example, back up your iPad mini to your computer using iTunes (by connecting it, opening iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Back Up and choosing to back up apps and transfer purchases when prompted), then erase it and restore the old iPad backup (as explained here: iCloud: Restore or set up your iOS device from iCloud), save any recovered data you want to keep, then restore your iTunes backup back to your iPad mini (by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Restore from Backup).
Once you're done with the old backup, delete it from your account to free up the space.

I cant get any artwork from tv-series to sync over to my ipad mini, its only gray and the name av the tv-serie, whats wrong ?

Thanks for tossing out ideas. I am getting to the point my memory is not bad or is it they are changing the software daily to include and drop options...
I just tried to sync a single tv episode. It did not sync it, but oddly enough it does recoginze that it is selected, because wihen I undelect it after a sync, i get an apply button as if uncheck it is making a change. But space available does not change either way, nor does anything end up on the device.
Do not think too hard on it, it is not a "rush" item, just an annoyance with the software does not work as one would expect it to.

If you had not turned on Find My iPad before it was lost, there isn't a way to locate it. There are some suggestions in the "If Find My iPhone isn't enabled" section near the bottom regarding changing passwords and other steps.

On my daughters iPad mini she can not send messages. She can receive them but the send button stays light gray after you type a message. It worked when we first set it up but now it does not. Tried resetting and logging out and back in. With no change.
