IPad Mini takes hours to turn on after full charge
This only happens after I charge it to 100%. I charge it when I go to bed so I cannot watch it and stop the charging at 99%, or I would. I have to unplug it then let it sit anywhere from 2 to 4 hours before it will power on. This has been going on for about 3 months. I bought this over a year ago and it has always worked perfect for me. I cannot afford to have it repaired so that's out. What should I do to fix this pain in my butt issue? Is anyone else having this problem also?

Hi, I bought used macbook pro yesterday from ebay. The macbook arrived clean in a secure box, i turned it on and it worked stright from there. I used it on battery for like 4 hours and then i shut it down and put it on charge and went to work. When i came back and i saw the battery was fully charged. i unplugged the macbook pro and tried to power it on. The macbook pro didn't respond, no light, no chime, no hard disk noise and no white screen!!
It just made me so much worried and started looking over the net. I found out some reset options and tried but invain. After all this i was so much stressed that i tried to contact the seller. The seller said he had it for about two years and never had any problem like that.
However I tried to power it up in morning and it just powered up and worked flawlessly.My question is what could have went wrong there?? I'm just worried if that problem is gonna come back again and again. I never had this sort of problem on my Vaio laptop. Is there anything that i dont understand about macbook or be cautious about??
However I must confess, I used 60W megsafe charger but only when my laptop was switched off and I was aware not to run it on 60W charger.

Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

Try reset iPad

Help me! I have a new iPad mini that won't turn on. It was working fine this morning then i turn it off and it never turns back on. it doesnt register with iTunes and resetting isnt working either. All I did is download instagram and snapchat and poof doesnt work. I have had these apps before!

Very doubtful it's a malware issue.
When that happens, try resetting the device.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If an app quits again, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Hello this is happening to us also (minus the Bluetooth speaker). We can't figure out what is causing the data usage. I turned off mobile data as soon s I activated the device, and got the message that unless I am connected to WiFi.....(that is exactly what I wanted). We watched Netflix for about three hours, then the alerts started. Like you we have many devices connected and never used over 2GB now all of a sudden we have used it in a matter of hours. My husband called Verizon and got the usual doubting Thomas response. I understand that they don't know my device settings. So over the phone we check all the settings and turned off every possible culprit eating up the data and end the call. By now I have purchased another gig for the month! Assured we are NOT using mobile data, we continue on the IE path to bliss. HA! A few hours later I check the mobile data usage on the Verizon website and that darn thing is still using data. After two more phone calls and two VERY uneventful trips to the local store we were told to take out the sim card. This has stopped the data usage, but it defeats the purpose of having the data plan. I could have just stuck with my Surface. Verizon sent us a new sim card. Its been installed and I have set my homepage to Verizon mobile data usage (just kidding) but I am on that site a lot. I am surprised at the number of complaints about this device. When we called the Verizon support acted as though this was the first time they had heard about this. Start with this and see of it will start up. Unplug it from the charger before you do this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. See if the iPad starts up. -
I am so frustrated right now as I have to have my iPhone constantly on charge. After full charge it can drop from 100% to 1% in 15 minutes even when not it use. It often die whilst displaying 35% and will only come back on after charging which shows it in red zone empty needing charge. The red battery pic can remain for over an hour before it regains any life!

2. Apple map. I think it's good that google went out. Apple will develope own service and it will be better. For the moment I found Apple map less usefull, but it knows the way between Russia and Finland when Google doesn't.
3. No overheat observed... Today I was thinking that iPhone became hot, but it was on sunsine...
4. As it was 100% at evening - 100% at morning so it is now the same. While usage also the same.

I just bought IPAD mini with 16GB with LTE, I can only charge up to 90% with the bundled 1A adaptor, it will go full charge only with 2.1A adaptor. Anyone facing similar problem?

I will also recomend to use the software http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/24141/battery-health-monitor
to monitor battery life.
You should be able to read everything from the software.

You're device may have a hardware failure; My recommandation is talk to them like polite gentlemen; I've worked in customer service before. You get a lot further and people are willing to do a lot more work for someone who is polite and respectful.
Just explain you bleiev eyou have a potential hardware failure on your device and ask for assistance
