Ipad no accepting 4 digit passcode and then asking Hotmail account password and still not accepting
Not able to go beyond the first screen. Says incorrect passcode and then asks for Hotmail account password and does not accept that also. How to get into my Ipad????

For your problem there Not much you can do if you can't finger out your password.
1: you can retore the device to last backup date. "Recommended"
2: you can keep trying to remember you password and in time your device ether lock up or it will make you want for a vary long time.
If your willing to do a retore fallow The steps below
1 power off the device.
2 turn on iTunes and then hold the home button wile holding the home pluge the device into the computer. Keep holding the home until the computer sees the device and says it needs a restor,
3 do a restor. The computer will download the new ios5.0.1 and install it on your device.
(note if the iPad reboots before the computer is done downloading don't worry about it. Just power it back off and hold home and pluge it back in ones more. And select restor again.)
4 ones it's done with restore. Click on the device in your left calume and right click it and select restor from back up.
5 pick your name of the name of the iPad and wait for it for complet all transfers. This can take some time. Even up to a hour some times more if you have a lot of apps.

I cannot download an app from the app store, it keeps loading until it says "You have already purchased this app so it will be downloaded no at no additional charge", and then it prompt for password and I input it after which nothing happens.

Been trying to download Lion from the App Store. It saks for login, I login in and it starts install. After about 13 hours it finishes download then asks for login again. After login, it starts installing again. It never shows installed. This is the third time I am doing this. Am I doing something wrong?
Sorry, my bad, we have the iMac G5 10.6.8. I just got home and the message said an error occurred and was unable to download. Am I doing something wrong or is there something I need to do.

Thunderbird starting asking for my password. I know the password, just have not been asked for years.
After typing in password keep getting message
'Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server mail.intergate.com responded: dmanns logon failed '
however, I went to Webmail.intergate.com; was redirected to http://email.1dial.com/webmail/Login.aspx.
Can get email from webmail just fine (same password), just not via Thunderbird.
Have already run two anti-virus scans. Have deleted the saved passwords and re-entered them as the program asked for them and renamed key.db & signons.sqlite (Read this in a forum on the web) and they rebuilt themselves. Still can not get email via Thunderbird.Did you contact your email provider? They may have server issues.

My ipad is locked in a loop. in the subscriptions area validate I entered the correct password but ipad is still in a loop the circle never stopping even after switch off of every kind and over a day.. ipadi s now uselss. How can I recover?? Joan.

internet went down and a aplle diagnostic screen came up ask for password as soon as I gave it and entered within a minute internet came up again. real or Hacked? Has anyone ever seen this before --- internet diagnostic screen said it was from and going to apple
No, as I already said, they will not. They will not repair or replace any Apple device that's even been opened by anyone else.
In this case, the morons who butchered your phone caused a lot more damage than the broken screen.
You should have taken it to Apple for service in the first place. -

I have been having terrible trouble with logic pro x basic content download. I open up the app in which it says it's downloading the extra content. I think it must be the basic content however because it takes no time at all. It gets 3/4's through and says installing. It then asks for my password and once entered says it needs an internet connection to download and to please try again.
I have literally tried everything from making sure my preferences are correct, using an Ethernet, cable.I have used almost every post regarding this on here and still can't even get the basic 2g package to install. If I could get that I believe I could load the extra content manually. I can't even get the basic package to work to do this however.
Has anybody had the problem with the basic download??? If anyone has a solution to this pleeeeaaaseee reply because this is driving me crazy.

The iTunes Store needs the 3-digit security code from your credit card on the account. The iPad will display the account information so you can enter this information. Once you enter the information, purchase the app and it will download. Sounds like the Apple ID and payment information is not yours (your parents), so discuss this with the account holder.

Help updated my ipad with IOS 7.0.4. It asks me what language, chooses my wi-fi and then asks.........1 - set up as a new ipad, 2 - restore from iclouds or 3 - restore from itunes but won't restore as not enough memory! What do I do now?

Whats my next move as I CANNOT use the ipas at the moment!!!!!!!!Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

I am trying to put my ipad back to factory settings and it keeps asking for my original Id which is the reason I am needing to reset it. When I try to do this via password prompts it asks for my date of birth which I enter correctly and it tells me it is incorrect and then trying the email route this does not send any emails to the registered accounts I set up originally - help!!
My guess is all the issues are probably related and fall back to malware.
AVG is probably correct in identifying malware. So I suggest you try some cleaning tools other than Emsisoft .

My outside looking in guess is that malware has set itself up as an internet proxy and is is downloading copies of itself and other malware, blocking some mail port as times as downloading more malware is more important, and probably breaking your tivo as well..
Try the malware programs first. If that does not work I will try and talk you through some logging to see what is happening. -
I am unable to connect my IPad to the internet via WiFi, when asked for a password then attempt to join I get the messag "unable to join the network" however if I use my laptop in the same physical locationand using similar procedures I am able to conect.?
What router are you using? make/model/version
What security type are you using? If it is WEP then symbolic (non hex) keys may be converted to hex in different ways by different operating systems. Is your laptop a Windows PC?
If you are using WEP then drop it and move to WPA2. WEP has been deprecated by the WiFi alliance since 2004 as insecure (it can be hacked in seconds). -
I downloaded the latest iOS7 to my iPad and then the screen went blank and would not respond. I have tried pressing the two buttons together and briefly get the Apple logo but still can not restart, the logo disappears. I have tried connecting to my iMac to restore the iPad but the device does not show up (I have an old iMac). What else can I do?
You need to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 at the very least in order to sync your iPad with iTunes so you could update your Mac, if it can be updated, and if you care to do so.
If that's not an option, you will have to find someone that can restore the device for you with their computer running iTunes or make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask them to restore the device for you.
I hope that you have an iCloud backup, because you will lose everything on the device when it is restored.

Also, I would not give up on the reset technique....holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. It takes about 10-15 seconds and sometimes just a little longer to get the logo to appear.
